...personal*
personality Ever since he started to "go mad," as his guardians called it, Viktor started to become more solitary than he usually had been, becoming more "focused on his work," he called it, but in reality, he had become more shy at first because as he had waken up that dreadful morning, he had viewed the world a completely different way than he had before.
But despite all this, Viktor is generally a gentle man, eager to share his knowledge and answer any questions. He is hesitant about meeting new people because he is mostly unfamiliar with modern technology (or, at least he thinks he is) and he is very self-conscious. However, if he gets to know said person to an extent where they understand his small "condition," he's actually likable, and won't hesitate to admit that he needs a guide around society.
... Looking for love? Well, of course. Viktor often gets lonely by himself, and amid all of the friends he could have, he'd need one that would stand by him and have enough patience to tolerate his eighteenth century intelligence. The only problem would be... who?
past When "Viktor" (known back then as Raymond Pochelli) was younger, one might have thought that he was simply a normal boy. He enjoyed sports, girlfriends, school, etc, and he didn't mind the fact that his parents rarely paid any attention to him. He was a normal boy living in the twentieth century in a normal town across the Atlantic going to a normal school.
Of course, everything changed when he was fifteen and he was chosen to move to New York City temporarily as a foreign exchange student. Baum Academy was a decent experience for him, he made a few friends and lived like a normal student would, unaware of the incarnations around him.
But then, at the age of seventeen, he turned mad, everyone thought. He had realized his place in life, and who he was supposed to be, and the "mind-trickery" that had taken place for the past seventeen years of his life. He insisted on changing his name to Viktor instead of Raymond, and he became solitary, starting to babble nonsense as if he was from the nineteenth century. He had truly gone crazy, his guardians thought, and it was mere coincidence that at nearly the same time, his parents had passed away, and Raymond, now called Viktor, had no relatives to speak of, so he was stuck with his guardians.
Desperate to be rid of the mad boy, Viktor's guardians sent him straight to the University to hopefully have the professors deal with him. He has been staying there for several years, and he insisted on taking more classes each year, turning into a complete... nerd.
So far, he hasn't heard from his guardians, who had probably been relieved to have him off their backs. With this in mind, he went through the rest of college and soon applied as a teacher. He needed to spread the joys of science to others, after all.
present
Viktor finished about eight years of college before applying to be a teacher at Baum, the school where he had first started after moving to America. Because of the low budgeting and the constant loss of teachers, he's agreed to teach three subjects at once - human anatomy, chemistry and world history, although the motive for the latter is completely unknown to the students. He also volunteered to the the school's Speech and Debate coach, which is a total shocker.
He lives by himself in an apartment on the edge of town simply because of the solitary space of the building and the failure to address the need for a companion. However, he'd be sure to find someone. Or, if that doesn't work out, he'll put scientific boundaries into his own hands and create one. Although he isn't mad enough to do that... is he?
family Parents are deceased; guardians are/were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Todd.

book title Frankenstein
backstory Before the materializing of the famous beast known only under its inventor's last name, Victor Frankenstein had been raised with his mother and father and, upon becoming five years old, a female companion whom he had soon wished to marry.
Soon, before his departure to the University of Ingolstadt, Victor's mother passed away due to illness, and he was left with his father and his beloved Elizabeth Lavenza. It was at the Ingolstadt University that Victor realized his destiny which would soon lead to his mental demise. He would be a scientist.
And it wasn't until later in his college years that he started construction on one of the most famous monsters of this day, and how it went about a little too well...

rp sample Ezra sighed as he put the cigs back in the box and placed it under his pillow again. Deep inside, he really wanted to bond with his father, but somehow, he just... couldn't. Some paranormal force pulled him back from who could be his best friend. Something told him that he had to be mean to this person. It felt like he was being controlled somehow. Ezra then chuckled - his father wouldn't believe it the way he had just phrased it... would he?
He then remembered the stories that Mr. Ravenscroft would tell him, Juil and Zeke when they were children. Even though they were fairy tales that the old man had thought of himself, he had the feeling deep inside that they were more than fairy tales, and he himself was living proof.
This particularly was an insane thought. His parents would have him dragged off if he had told them his suspicions up to there. But he had his doubts...
