Jeny was confused. And she hated being confused. It was really the most obnoxious of emotions. Happiness, she adored. Sadness was bound to happen. anger, she wore like a versace prom dress. Confusion though... confusion. Ugh. Nothing pleasant came from confusion.
She walked up to the door, being handed money by Guillermo even though she had some in her hands. Ira walked in, his face contrite, and mumbled softly to Guillermo, who patted his back forgivingly. So... it was done? No more drama? That seemed painless. But why was Rose sulking in the corner? Sighing, Jeny paid for the pizza, a cautious pimply, pimply, delivery boy standing in the door way, looking determinedly at the hall ceiling. "Are you alright?"
He nodded nervously, not looking down. "Yes Ma'am." Jeny shot a curious glance at her Brother, not realizing he and the pizza boy had had a run in before, back when Rose and Guillermo had first met. He took the money, and handed Jeny change shakily, sliding the mountain of pizza's, chicken, and bread sticks, into her arms. "Have a good e-evening Ma'am. Thank you for your custom." With that, the boy scampered away, with a clumsy speed.
Jeny turned away, only for Suave to have the pizzas out of her arms and on to the table, where the boys started feed. Jeny took her place back on the couch, happy to see Ira sitting next to her spot. Maybe he had changed. Jeny flashed him her brightest smile, before grabbing a piece of pizza, and attempted to eat it as lady like as possible.
Her brown eyes trailed over to Rose, who was locked in a tight, protective, hug by Guillermo. Maybe she wasn't so bad? Maybe she was just shy. And she seemed to make Guillermo happy. Maybe Jeny had just come in at a bad moment, and Rose was really a nice person deep deep down. Jeny chewed thoughtfully, smiling at Rose, though it was a little testing. Not the one that showed her dimples. The one that she used when she was uncomfortable or unsure. "You know, now that they're all here, we could use them as pack mules for a little mall trip." Yeah. Yeah. This was okay.
