Ronnie was an outgoing boy, never found a moment when words weren’t coming out of his mouth in a flurry in response to someone else. And Ronnie was a well-kept snobby kind of boy, never failing to be critical over little things. Which would explain his uppity behavior towards store clerks and other people, but there was one person he completely lost everything in front of. The boy’s speeding words came out in stutters and his criticalness just dropped to the floor. His name was Rohan and he oozed perfection. Soft curly locks, gorgeous eyebrows, and a smile that just made Ronnie smile too. Ronnie giggled like an idiot anytime Rohan cracked even the slightest joke, he couldn’t help himself. He was falling head-over heels for Rohan.
Which would explain the nervousness as they met up for coffee one afternoon, Ronnie sat waiting for Rohan toying with the straw on his iced latté. He nibbled on his bottom lip, nervous so very nervous. What if Rohan didn’t show up? Maybe Rohan was just teasing about getting coffee. Ronnie didn’t want to call, he would seem desperate. He had made an effort to look so perfect today too. His hair was styled and he was wearing the most expensive and nice clothes in his closet and not for Rohan to show up. Eurgh, he was going to be sick. Still playing with his straw, he watched the door. Jumping up at every jingle of the bell on the door, only to be let down as it was just another customer. Maybe Rohan wasn’t going to show.
Then when he had his bag adjusted on his shoulder and was about to leave, the bell jingled one final time and there he was. Rohan peering around the restaurant a bit anxiously, then an expression of relief along with a smile plastered on his face as he saw Ronnie sitting at a table in the corner. He sauntered over and Ronnie’s hard pounded happily, he hadn’t forgotten. Letting a smile crack the worried look on his face he greeted Rohan.
“R-Rohan! I thought you had forgotten!” He had a teasing facial expression, though he spoke with an undertone of seriousness. Completely caught up that Rohan might have forgotten and just made last minute trip to see if Ronnie was still desperately hanging on to the fact that they might have ever had a chance at even having coffee together, he sighed happily as Rohan pulled up a chair and sat with a grin on his face. Was Ronnie blushing at the grin? Was he about to seem desperate?
