personality Em is a bit of a dreamer. She is often caught spacing out in class, however, her talents shine in English and art classes. Em tends to stay quite in classrooms, but she’s always thinking in ways other than her peers. Some of her ideas are far-fetched, but some have the potential to rival Einstein’s’ mind.
Even though Emily kept to herself in class, outside of desks and books, she was talkative and caring. She was confident in herself, which lead her friends to be confident themselves. She enjoyed hanging out with everyone and having fun with people of all different backgrounds and ideas.
She didn’t get upset when other laughed at her wild ideas, or get discouraged when adults told that things just couldn’t be done. She was determined in everything she did. There wasn’t much of anything that could think up of, when her mind and heart was into it.
past Emily lived on Emerald Lane in New York City before starting Frank L. Baum Academy. Her mother and father had died in a subway train accident a few years back, leaving her live with her successful Aunt and Uncle at the age of ten.
The two didn’t know how to raise such a young, gifted child and often left her nannies and daycares. While they have taken good care of her and given her anything she wished, they never really tried to understand her and love her. If anything upset her, it was not having a childhood like the one in fairytales, when she was a loved princess.
Despite her lack of parental figures, Emily wasn’t one to close herself off from others. Growing up in daycares and different schools, she found it easy to make friends. Her bubbly personality helped with this as well. Overall, she grew up as an alright kid.
present Presently, Emily attends Baum as a junior. She is often clad in checked flowing skirts, while unusually, is just her style. She has begun to take more art classes as strange images have been appearing in her mind lately. Her sketch book has been filled with drawing of an emerald painted city and long, winding roads made of yellow bricks.
The most unusual thing that has begun to happen, has been her cries for ‘Toto.’ Emily is perplexed by this, having no idea who Toto is. Em is beginning to think Toto may be a black dog, the one that is often in her images of the city and brick road.

rp sample Lily was pacing the desks in the charms classroom. She had been there for about an hour now. She always liked to be early to the charms club meetings. She was after all the head of the club, it was best that she be at least on time.
Today was different though, she was upset with herself. In class today was supposed to be able to do the mobiliarbus charm. She couldn't for the life of her figure out why she couldn't do that charm.
She tried one more time in the empty charms classroom, where it all started early that day. She pulled a quill out of her bag that she had thrown to the floor. She placed it delicately on the desk in front of her. She raised her wand and took a step back.
She took a deep breath and focus all her energy on moving the quill. She said, "Mobiliarbus" loud and clear. The word echoing off the walls. She waved her wand. She started intently at the quill, it was shaking, just as it had done in class.
She was about to give up, but she thought of her father. He never gave up, so why should she. She stood up straighter and held her wand tightly. She said the charm and waved her wand. The quill finally moved. It jumped from its resting place to a spot on the left, just how her wand had moved.
She was so excited, she started jumping up and down. Her red locks fell into her face, but she didn't care she was just so thrilled to be able to perform the charm.
She calmed down a bit and took a seat on top of a desk. She waited for the rest of the club to arrive.
