...personal*
personalityHe has an IQ of 150 though he rarely shows it. He talks very fast when nervous. He may seem distant and cold to those he hates, frigid in his logic. To those who get close to him he is the exact opposite: fun-loving and playful. He becomes the type of friend who would give his life for you without thinking twice. He is protective and caring.
He’s out to protect all life even those he is afraid of or dislikes. He is of the belief that all life is important. He will also lay waste to those who threaten what he cares for, but he will honor you as a brave opponent if you fight with honor. He is superstitious and knows various lore about numerous monsters, creatures, and items. He loves to ramble on about them with the geeky enthusiasm of a collage professor. His greatest want is to have a permanent home without having to move around every few years.
He has issues with rage, always had. Martial Arts had helped a bit with that, but now that he had to deal with ghost and hollows, they his old ways began peeking through again. It wasn't that he was a bad person, nor really an angry person. He just had issues controlling his anger, especially when it came to certain subjects. He also has organizational issues.
He likes to cook, mainly Mexican and Italian, though he can cook some Thai food. He prefers food with zest or spice over all. He also likes Kung Fu movies as well as the works of Kevin Smith and Guillermo Del Toro. Romantic comedies are almost guaranteed a like in his books, especially if they star Tom Hanks.
Sahoni is also very religious. It is a source of strength for him. Being Red Road it is against it to try and push it on other people. It also means he has a deep respect for the natural word and tries not to judge other no matter, race, creed, or religion, for he see’s the world as one big family. His being Bi has no effect on his religious nature do to his religion carries no stigmas about it.
past The Early Years
Tennessee Sahoni-Waya was born in Owl Creek, North Carolina, the son of a man of Irish decent and a woman of Native American decent. His dad, a high ranking military man, didn’t think it would be fair to make a child so young move around as the military demanded. So, both agreeing on this sent him to live with his estranged Grandfather, a blue collar Cherokee man. Grandpa Koga (Koga means Crow in Cherokee), was an easy going man who taught him the value of hard work by working him on his farm. It was also his grandfather who gave him his love of myths and folklore through his constant joking and stories. Due to this Sahoni gained future aspirations of being a Cultural Anthropologist or a Folklorist. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. At age eight his parents, near strangers to him picked him up to go live with them, thinking he was finally old enough to live a military life style. Not soon after, his Grandfather died of cancer.
To France
Soon after Sahoni moved to a military base in France. Sahoni has always gone to public school. His parents thought it would “Encourage him to socialize.” rather than a private school which his parents thought would make him to elitist. Regardless of this, Sahoni was awkward in social situations, often preferring the company of a good book to a person. This paired with his very foreign looks lead to him being a target of bullying. To counteract this, his Dad signed him up for Savate, a French martial arts centered around kick techniques. Sahoni soon found he had a knack for martial arts. Unfortunately, Sahoni felt like something was missing from it.
And Brazil
Two years later Sahoni moved to Brazil. In Brazil he was more accepted. Unfortunately it wasn’t much better. Sahoni was still bullied unrelentingly; of course his constantly running mouth didn’t help. Taking this as a sign, Sahoni took initiative and signed up for classes in Capoeria. This class was taught by Mestre Filipe, dreadlocked man who was a great influence on him. Sahoni learned of many things from him. Among the things he learned was an appreciation for poetry and a variety of music. Though there was still something missing from the martial arts. It was also around this time when Sahoni discovered the joys of volunteering with the elderly, which soon became a part of routine for him. Most notable this is when he became an older brother. His parents, not having anyone to, as in Sahoni’s words, “ditch him with” so never spent the away time from his parents that Sahoni did.
present At the start of High School Sahoni moved back to America. His high school years he came out of his shell a bit participating in activities found in the local high school like the cooking club. It was also when Sahoni started taking Genkei Ryu Do Karate. That is when he realized what was missing, the internal, the exercising of the spiritual as well as the physical. Sahoni learned techniques which helped him cope with his fears and anger such as meditation. Just when he was finally piecing his life together, tragedy struck.
A person who reached out to him during the start of his high school years one he considered a friend was shot while working at his fathers convenience store. The robber shot the father of his friend as well, only grazing his arm. This sent Sahoni into spiral of self isolation making him revert to his old ways. Only as of recently has he reconsidered letting his heart be vulnerably again.

book title Native American Myths
backstory As with most “animal heros” in Native American myth. Wolf appears as both a quadruped and bipedal, anthropomorphisized figure, seemingly at whim. Other than that, he appears as a normal wolf.
Wolf is a reoccurring figure in many myths. As such, he serves many roles. Most often this role is adviser and teacher to other heros. Sometimes he gets involved himself and is said to be an unrivaled hunter who always gets his prey. The only instance I can name he was beaten was by the thunder brothers Good Boy and Wild Boy.

rp sample Sahoni sighed deeply. Would it be right to take something? Even if it was from a evil person who made a living off of defending those who killed others to meet their own selfish ends, would it be right? Sahoni took a deep breath. What to do?
Moral dilemmas sucked...
You have no right unless it is supernatural. the wolf lectured in a way that made him wanna take something out of spite.
Sahoni's eyes scanned the room looking around. When his eyes came across a a large mirror surrounded by various liquors and alchohals he felt a jolt. "Something supernatural is here, erm, well beside you. Behind the mirror." Sahoni felt around the bar for something a lever, a button, something. Sahoni reached for a light fixture. Suprisingly it pulled down to reveil a staff over a dark alter. "Wow even his hiding places are 80's."
The air around Sahoni grew heavy and ionated as Sahoni's eyes started to glow golden yellow. Sahoni activated his spirit sight eyes seeming unfocused. Sahoni looked over it, recognizing the sigils of those of demons. the glowing in a baleful, sickly light. He used light in the loosest sense of the word. Infact it seemed to suck the light from the area. It made Sahoni's stomach churn just looking at it. Above the sigils was an intricacly carved staff glowing in a pure light, a blue glow that raidiated through his soul. Canceling out the evil of the sigils. Slowly the dark was eating at the light.
This sight made Sahoni angry. "That bastard." he growled angrily. "He's into the dark stuff, and is trying to corrupt this staff." Sahoni took the staff. "I believe I'll take this staff."
In a fit of rage Sahoni turned around and stomp kicked the guys desk, shattering it in half, rage boiling. "Lets go... He'll know we've been here, I want that."
How could anyone make deals withthese things? Work with them? These things that destroyed his family and his life.
Maybe you should calm down. The wolf said.
Like I care, he deserved it. Sahoni growled.
That's not why I'm worried. he continued calmly though annoyed be the pups insulence Rage is a poisen of the mind, you need a clear head now.
Sahoni tried to take a deep breath though shaking in rage.
