...personal*
personality Irene may have blonde hair, blue eyes, and good looks, but call her an airhead and she’ll sock you flat. She’s never been afraid to show her stubborn and slightly temperamental side, although she does sometimes wish she could be a little normal. Irene has always been a strong girl, which was much needed in her household and daily life. She’s always up for a good crying session to let out her anxiety, but don’t ever expect to catch her in the act.
Due to many reasons that will be later explained, Irene developed a trust complex early in life. She is hard to impress, and it’s even harder to gain her respect. She is very protective of herself and will not open up to new people any time soon. She gets by with fake compliments and smiles, but she’s eventually seen as the cold bitch she really is- unless you’ve gotten to know her. Irene is extremely loyal to the friends she trust, and the small amount of family she adores. And when you’ve become the friend of Irene, your world may have become a bit brighter.
As her friend you are blessed with the kind side of her personality, and fierce protectiveness she often uses only for herself. With friends she can also become somewhat childish and fun, revealing her guilty pleasure of imitating people to solely make fun of them. She also loves to tell stories, and may start ranting a new one at any given time. Granted, she seems a bit bipolar to the people who know both her sides.
Her most trusted family is her horse, and loving animals at home. She absolutely loves nature, and likes to chat with her family’s small flock of geese (although you would probably never see it yourself). Her trust issues completely disappear when it comes to animals – mainly because they’ve been there for her her whole life.
past Irene was blessed with good looks, and from birth was proclaimed an exquisite beauty. Her mother took great pride in the fact, and adored/pampered her from the very beginning; although, her form of pampering was a bit different than what people usually imagine.
The Kindell family had been rich for many generations, and Irene’s family was no exception. Irene was spoiled with anything she wanted, which she eventually grew bored of. Her mother’s idea of pampering was to hire nannies that could be there for her every second of the day – her mother was far too busy to be by her side all the time. Irene soon grew tired of the constant attention, and wished for the attention of her mother instead. Luckily, her father was much more compassionate, and took over by the time Irene was three.
She became a daddy’s girl while her little brother, born five years after her, was her mother’s favorite. Irene loved her father and the two often rode horses together. She always secretly wished for her mother’s attention, and began to despise her little brother for taking up all her mother’s time. Her little brother had seemed special enough to gain all her mother’s attention 24/7.
When Irene was eight her father gave her a horse for her birthday – a beautiful white stallion. Just four months, while the two were riding, her father fell off and was trampled to death by his own horse. Irene watched him die. After the event she was traumatized, and refused to speak to her mother or any of the nannies. Eventually it was her little brother who broke through, after coming to her room and asking if he could sleep with her. The two had almost never met, yet they both had the fear of loud thunderstorms. Over that simple fact the two bonded and Irene grew to adore her younger brother.
At age nine Irene and her family moved to New York, New York, and she made her first best friend. Her friend’s family lived a few apartments down from hers, and was much poorer than the Kindall’s. The girl soon became jealous of Irene’s wealth, and often used her to get things she wanted. She finally broke their friendship when she refused to come to Irene’s tenth birthday party, and chose to hang with some other girls instead (all bitches, if she must say). The next day Irene was bullied by her ex-best friend and new group, installing her hatred for them and new trust issues.
She eventually gave way when she met another girl freshman year, who was also bullied, and the two became friends.
present Irene is currently a junior in high school, and well on her way to academic honor roll. She was home schooled at through her elementary years and has always been advanced for her age, so she hasn’t had much problem with studies. Her trust issues have dulled down a bit due to her small group of friends she’s had since freshman year. She loves tutoring other students, and feels accomplished when she helps them improve their lives.
She recently got a job at a bookstore, and adores everything about it. She can often be found reading stories to the children in the reading corner, or making up some of her own. Irene is on good terms with the manager, and her aspirations have even influenced her own. Irene hopes to learn about business in college and open up her own special bookshop, while also raising all the animals she can house.

book title The Goose Girl
backstory : The princess of Kildrenee, Isi, is sent to a far away kingdom to be betrothed to a prince she has never met. Her mother, the queen, grants her daughter protection on her journey through a handkerchief she has stained with three drops of her own blood. The princess and her small party then set off for the land; Isi is accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, Selia.
On the journey the princess grows thirsty, and asks her maid to go fetch her some water. The maid refuses, and the princess is forced to go and get her own water for her goblet. Time passes, and the princess grows thirsty again. The maid once again refuses, and while the princess is at the stream the handkerchief falls into the river without the princess knowing it. The princess is defenseless when the maid starts a riot, and comes upon the faraway land claiming to be the princess. Selia introduces Isi as a peasant, and she is sent to work as a goose girl.
The princess is forced to work and finds her talents of controlling the wind and talking to birds. Her helper, named Conrad, goes to the King to complain about the princess. He claims he will not work with her any longer because of the strange things happening, which are her powers. The king asks the princess to tell her story, and she weaves a tale of a conspiring lady-in-waiting and a poor princess. The king learns that Isi is the real princess, and she is given back her title. She marries the prince of the kingdom, who she finds out is the young man she fell in love with.

rp sample The summer day was growing dim as the sun began to set, and a young Irene sat shivering at her picnic table. She rubbed her bare arms, and glanced back at the back entrance, still waiting for the person who should have arrived three hours ago. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away. The sound of a door opening startled her and she spun around. Her current nanny had opened the sliding door to the house, and her elderly face gazed out in pity at the small girl.
“Irene, it’s time to come inside,” the nanny said gently. Stubbornly, the girl turned back around in her seat, her arms permanently folded.
“I won’t,” she said. “Not until she comes.”
There was a silent hesitation, and the door slowly slid shut. Irene let out the breath she had been holding, and settled her head on the table. She looked at the packaged cupcakes that had long since spoiled in the sun, and sniffed slightly.
“Happy tenth birthday to me,” she sang, gazing at the darkening sky.
