...personal*
personality Calvin loves to make people happy. He seems to always have a smile on his face and a joke up his sleeve. He values his friends more than anything, and wants what is best for them. He is also very confident in everything he does, which is why he’s a perfectionist. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. Calvin is also very easily scared. He hates anything horror, gore, or ghost related, and Halloween is the worst time of year for him. When he gets scared he acts very childish and is prone to scream or hid behind you.
Calvin also loves good food, and usually has some kind of candy bar in his backpack. He is somewhat lazy, so it's a miracle he hasn't already gotten large. He does enjoy a game of soccer though, and swimming is his favorite sport.
past Calvin Jacob Finn was born in the spring, when the nation began to cheer for the end of winter. Perhaps this was why Calvin was such a happy boy – maybe being born at the right time can choose the person you are. All he knew was that happiness was natural for him.
Calvin was born the second oldest in his family, and loved to take care of his young siblings when the parents were away. In elementary school he was popular for being cute, nice, and charmingly funny. Even the teachers claimed Calvin was their favorite student. He was an all around liked guy.
By the end of elementary he was made fun of for his apparent ‘girlishness’ of not liking anything scary. His fame eventually faded and in middle school he was considered nothing special. This didn’t bother Calvin though – he never liked the spotlight. He was fine as long as he had some friends who liked him for who he is.
present Calvin is still the nice, scardy-cat guy he's always been. He has grown up and became fairly popular among the girls for his looks, but his disinterest in a relationship pushed them all away. It's not that he doesn't like girls, it's just that he doesn't want to focus on that right now. He has his whole life to. Plus, he hasn't found the right girl.
Calvin is studious and gets good grades. He enjoys swimming when he has time, but doesn't take his practice seriously - it's for fun. The last remaning sliver of time is spent eating food, which has become a of sort of hobby to him. He loves to try new dishes and is friendly with the school's lunch ladies.

rp sample Today was the day – the downfall of all humankind…Halloween. Why people enjoyed this holiday was far beyond his range of knowledge. Sure, candy was awesome, (he should know since he practically lives off it) but who would risk so much for some simple Snickers? When people went trick-or-treating they practically threw themselves to all the hooligans with scary masks and fake blood; what’s the sense in that? The simple thought of stepping out on a night like this chilled him to the bone, and what caused Calvin to lock himself in his room. He wouldn’t be there for long.
“Calvin!” He heard his mother say from downstairs. “Can you come take the candy for awhile? I have to go to the store and get some more.”
Twelve-year-old Calvin quickly ran to his door and flung it open, desperately yelling down to his mom. “Mother, I can’t, and you know why!”
There was a pause and Cynthia Finn’s voice came floating back up. “Fine. Then you can’t have the left-overs.”
Calvin sucked in a pained breath, and quickly weighed his options. Slowly, he slinked out his door and walked down to the kitchen. His mother smiled and handed him the cauldron that held at their candy.
“Have fun, dear!”
The garage door slammed, the car backed out the driveway, and Calvin stood frozen. He terrified gaze was on their front door where the doorbell had just rang. He walked closer and glanced out the side window. A small vampire with blood trickling down his mouth looked back and smiled.
“Trick-or-treat!” he cried, eagerly holding out his bag.
Panicking, Calvin threw the cauldron at the kid, screamed, and ran back up to his room.
