personality
Joey is a really nice guy. He likes meeting new people and loves talking and hanging out with his friends. He’s very active, as well. Joey loves doing all sorts of things with his friends from playing sports to climbing trees and just being silly in general. He doesn’t get angry very often but if you mess with him or his friends, he won’t take it. Other than that, he’s a pretty cool guy to know. Joey loves discovering new things. He’s very mischievous and tends to get in trouble more often than not. He learns from his mistakes, though.
Upon first meeting Joey, he tends to be rather shy. Once he’s gotten to know you, though, he’ll never stop talking to you. Joey is very caring and will always be there for his friends. He loves jumping and being loud but won’t be this outgoing unless he’s with his friends. He doesn’t talk in class very often. He loves pretty much everything, except for bullies. They pick on him because he’s different then most of the students at Baum academy.
All in all, Joey is a very nice person. He loves having fun with his friends and family and is generally a great guy.
past
Joey grew up moving around a lot. He had to leave the friends he would make and this tended to change how he acted. He eventually decided that he wanted to be home schooled. This way, he wouldn't have to worry about making friends, losing them and then go through the trouble of starting over. All of the moves have made him rather shy. If Joey ended up making a friend, he would back out of the relationship, saying that they couldn't be friends since he'd be moving eventually.
He was a very lonely kid. He was the one that would look out of his bedroom window, watching the other children playing football and tag. As much as he missed the friends he'd made and lost, Joey was determined that someday he would have permanent friends. Until then, he didn't make many friends as his father's job had them moving every month. Not only did the career have them jumping states, it kept Joey's dad busy. Joey was often home alone because Josh (his father) worked late and left early.
As Joey didn't have friends to play with or a dad to bond with, he went through the regular motions of 'homework, dinner, bed.' His home schooling was online, so he didn't really even have a teacher he could connect with. Joey basically grew up alone. This isn't a pleasant thought but at the same time, he feels that it's made him stronger, somehow. He has faith that some day, he will have long lasting friends.
present
Nowadays, Joey is a pretty happy kid. His dad was fired and so they finally settled in busy New York. This was probably the greatest thing that could've happened as Joey now has friends. He does his very best at friendship for someone who didn't have very many chances growing up. He's at a comfortable spot between 'quiet' and 'loud.' There are some days where Joey worries about moving again, but as of yet, it hasn't happened and he hopes it never does.
Joey is alright with New York. He doesn't mind the bustling city as he himself tends to rush around. He's usually moving around, almost always bouncing on his feet in some sort of excited way. He's no longer the kid peering out his window, longing to join in that game of football. He's the one joining his friends in that game, cheering at the wins and booing at the losses. His grades are great at Baum Academy, something he's proud of and something he understands since he'd always been good at working. He's excited to go through the rest of high school, not at all worried about the next three years.
Now that his father isn't working so late, he and Joey spend much more time together. They often go to movies or hang out in the backyard, tossing a baseball back and forth. Joey sometimes wishes he had a brother or sister to spend time with, but then he remembers that he has his friends and his dad. He's very happy with how their life is right now.

(a story me and my friend share made up a long time ago)
So we’re casually walking and we see an empty house. We walk to the empty house and we see someone… it was a big cockroach! He said “would you like to come in to eat some pie with me?” So I looked at Share and she looked at me and we both said “ok.” The roach locked the door and we both just kept walking.
We walk in to the house and notice it’s all dark inside but only a light above the table, so we sit but there is no pie. Share asks “where is the pie?”
He said, “there is no pie!” and he is holding a fork and a knife and he says “I’m going to eat you!” So, we run towards the door but it’s locked so we run upstairs, lock the door behind us, open the window and jump out.
While we run past the house we see out the window that there is an old lady and she is hitting the roach with it yelling “they escaped again!” and so the roach got so angry and he just ate her the end
