A1...A2...C4...wait, C4? Didn't I just pass A2? God damn. Zack retraced his steps to the top of the mezzanine, then glanced down at the rows of chairs. Well this makes a whole lot of sense, he thought. Wouldn't it be easier to just have A at the top and Z at the bottom? But no, somehow these geniuses have decided to have K at the top and A in the middle somewhere, with random Cs thrown in. Great. Great.
Zack combed through the seats until he located D26, and plopped down. Well this was going to be a shitload of fun. An unintelligent, pointless Broadway musical, and here he was, waiting for it to start. The Naked Gun. What a sophisticated name. Oh how the mighty have fallen, he goaded himself, as he propped his feet up on the chair in front of him, flipping absentmindedly through the program. He reached down onto the floor to retrieve his cell phone, which he realized he'd dropped, and felt his hand nudge something hard and bony. It was then that he noticed the girl sitting to his right.
Oh great.
Blonde, and as far as he was concerned, anorexic. Rings on the fingers, piercings on every patch of exposed skin, seventeen pounds of pitch black eyeliner, and a random skull tattoo on the left cheek. Zack sighed. Better keep your hands to yourself, chica, he thought irritably.
