He's the dormant reincarnate of Jehan Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo. A senior at Baum now, he is seventeen years old. He’ll respond to nearly any form of his name, though the most common one seems to be “Alex.” He's mischievous, loud, and witty and he tends to be a big troublemaker. His legal guardian is his older brother, Julius, as his parents passed away when he was a baby. He's presently a bit on the heartbroken side due to the disappearance of his romantic interest, Max. Speaking of which, he does swing both ways. He was born in France and he’s still stubborn about how much he loves the place.
{past}
• He and his brother got into a fight about money, and he was put on a budget. Julius also struck a deal with him – go to church, and he’d buy him a new car.
• He met Max Petulengro, and the two became romantically involved.
• He started running with the Truands, including Aisha, Cassie, Max, and Kiddo.
{present}
• Max has disappeared, and his brother hasn’t been around. He’s crushingly lonely.
• He lives alone in his apartment and attends school at Baum.
• He has just met Angel Dihanie.
{future}
• He will have a fling with Angel, as he sees her as a younger, female form of Max. However, once he figures out that Wes has a serious thing for Angel, he will back off, telling Angel that he simply can’t lose Max again. It will hurt too much.
• After he backs off of Angel, he will run with the Misfits.

He's the reincarnate of Tweedledum from Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, and he’s dormant. He’ll accept “Thurs” if you’re too lazy for “Thursday,” but only Pig is allowed to call him Oz. A senior at Baum now, he is also seventeen years old. Thursday is a big-time mischief-maker and havoc-wreaker along with his twin brother, Tuesday. His parents are living back on the other coast, no doubt being dull and stuffy. Currently, he’s infatuated with the lovely Pig Spencer, although he doesn’t know how to tell her that.
{past}
• He and his brother came to Baum and were split up into different dorms. Thursday’s roomie was November Starr, who Tuesday had his eye on.
• Thursday was under stress because he wasn’t with his brother as much as he wanted to be.
• They took a trip to McDonald’s, Thursday paid for Tuesday, and Tuesday became suspicious and jealous.
• Tuesday and Thursday had a fight while at the mall to do a prank, and stopped talking.
• Not being connected to his brother destroyed Thursday. He fell into a deep depression.
• He felt worthless and meaningless. He went to the Brooklyn Bridge and jumped from it, but, luckily, Tuesday was nearby. Upon realizing it was Thursday who jumped, he plunged into the water and saved him. The two made up at the hospital.
{present}
• Thursday is recovering from the incident and reconnecting with his brother.
• He’s also making new friends and spending time with the quirky and beautiful Pig Spencer.
{future}
• He and his brother will get up to more mischief!
• He’ll finally admit his feelings to Pig in an outburst. Then Mary Anne will come in and mess everything up; she will tell Pig that Thursday is only after one thing.
• Thursday will try to get a bit of a mack on with Pig, and Pig, recalling Mary Anne’s words, will recoil and start to avoid him. Thursday will decide he is not cool with this and will hunt her down and win her back.
• After the two are resolved, they will go on some mischief spree together, and Pig will fall off a roof and hurt her head. Thursday will blame himself for it, and Mary Anne won’t help.
• At some point, he, Pig, and probably Tuesday will release four pigs into a mall painted with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 5.

He's the reincarnate of the Cheshire Cat from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, and he’s dormant. He likes his name the way it is, thank you very much. A senior at Barrie now, he is twenty-one years old. Charlemagne is eternally clever, cryptic, and puzzling and he works as an information broker with his headquarters in the mystery section of the New York Public Library. You can often find him in a tree. His parents are deceased, and his younger brother is living with his grandparents. Charlemagne was born in Cheshire, England, though he has lived in the states long enough for his accent to have lost a bit of its color. He’s fascinated with the charming Amy Winston.
{past}
• He inherited his family’s mansion just outside of New York, bought a lot of cats, and became an information broker.
• He started stalking a man named Jamie Fellows, but said man conveniently disappeared.
• He met Amy Winston.
{present}
• Charlemagne is working through his feelings for Amy, as he isn’t very good with emotions.
• He’s also having some lovely word games with Emilie Simone.
{future}
• He will soon encounter Penny Woessner in Central Park.
• He and Amy will become closer and his feelings for her will become clearer. The two will have a karaoke night charged with unresolved sexual tension.
• Amy will become engaged to Jon, and she and Charlemagne will fight about it. She will slap him when he says something out of line and he will leave her apartment in a rage.
• Later, Jon will go Jabberwock on poor Amy, who will run away and get lost in the woods. Charlemagne had a feeling that it would be a good evening to go midnight tree-climbing, and happens to be there. Amy notices him in a tree, but he makes himself largely unseen because he doesn’t want her to know it’s him, ashamed of his previous behavior. A scene oddly reminiscent of Alice’s meeting the Cheshire Cat ensues.
• Suddenly, a baddie appears out of the darkness and tries to grab poor Amy. Charlemagne will be having none of that. As soon as Amy is in danger, the Cheshire Cat will awaken, Charlemagne will leap from his tree and fend off the bad guy long enough for him to be able to wrap his arms around Amy and make them both vanish to safety.

Oliver is the reincarnate of Maurice, the clumsy inventor and Belle’s father from Beauty and the Beast. An avid inventor himself, his actual job is as an aerospace engineer – he designs and builds rockets. Twenty-six years old, Oliver in some ways hasn’t grown up at all. He’s eccentric, excitable, and wildly intelligent and he’s sure to make you smile. He suffers from a touch of nominal aphasia, which means that he forgets nouns. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he has one younger and one older brother. He’s currently hopelessly infatuated with Melissa Hewitt.
{past}
• He moved into his new apartment! A lovely woman named Melissa lives just down the hall...
• His dear friend Kerli is attending college at the moment. She is like his daughter. He would die to protect her.
{present}
• Oliver is starting to realize he has feelings for Melissa but is hopeless to express them.
• He’s also recently met Scott Parker, an artist, and they seem to be getting along after having a fight over a cog.
{future}
• He’ll encounter Piglet while subbing for one of Xerxes Harrisburg’s physics classes, and have to figure out what to do.
• Moliver!
• He will be beaten up and held hostage by Soren Somersett. In exchange for his freedom, Kerli will have to stay with Soren.
• This will make him so unbelievably upset that Maurice will awaken, and he will go on a hopeless quest to save her.

{gideon.arthur.glass}
- - - - -
Gideon is the dormant reincarnate of Alan Campbell, a minor character and talented musician and scientist in Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. He is a Barrie senior despite being only twenty years old, and he’s majoring in Chemistry. Gideon is known to be intelligent, serious, and quiet, and he’s a talented musician. Gideon is gay, but he’s not terribly open about it because he’s a very private man. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but he does not say “eh” very often – he’s been living in the States since boarding school early on. He also has one younger and one older brother: Rodderick and Percy, respectively. He has always felt the least loved. He’s currently quite attracted to one Scott Parker, for all their rough beginnings.
{past}
• He became friends with Coinin Cliste and Kerli Stewart, both of which seemed to develop some sort of crush on him that he is oblivious to.
• He also befriended Cleo Everett at a picnic, and they are now rather close. She helped him through a panic attack over a lost paper.
• He had a rather dramatic fight with Scott Parker over the volume of some music.
• A strange affair was almost had with Dr. Finn Thomas, but that didn’t go anywhere.
{present}
• Scott and Gideon resolved their differences – ironically over a bit of guitar playing – and now, well. Well.
• This is good, because now Gideon doesn’t feel quite so alone anymore.
• Of course, Scott did leave immediately after that kiss, so now Gideon doesn't really know what the hell is going on.
{future}
• As part of a tutoring program, he will be asked to tutor Freddie Foster, although the boy will not want to be tutored by him. Freddie will be quite unkind to Gideon, which won’t help his grades, anyway.
• Eventually, Gideon will get Freddie back by giving him completely incorrect information for an exam. Freddie will be insanely pissed off and go off on Gideon about how he’s gay so he doesn’t need to listen to him, and Gideon will put him in his place.
• After that, the two will share a grudging respect for each other.

Elle, as she likes to be called, is the dormant reincarnation of Nick Carraway, the narrator of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. She works as a journalist, though her heart is in her creative writing most of all. She has a poetic soul. She is twenty-three years old now, and she graduated from Yale with a BA in English. Elle is typically cynical, witty, and polite, though she feels as if she is not complete and constantly feels the need to make herself somehow whole. She is a lesbian, and she is not at all ashamed. She was born in the suburbs outside of Chicago, Illinois,, but she wanted more than anything to get out of the tedium of the Midwest. Both her parents are still living, and they are very proud of her. She is destined to be in a relationship with the beautiful Jenna Gray.
{past}
• Elle moved to New York City after finishing her education at Yale and took a job as a journalist with one of the numerous local papers.
• She met Jenna Gray for the first time at an interview, and has been chosen to write a review on the 40/40 Club, which Jenna owns.
{present}
• She and Jenna are currently getting to know each other better.
• Upon meeting police officer Lucas Marx, she has a prickling suspicion about him...
• She has visited the bookstore and met Marlena Cartwright.
{future}
• Jenna and Elle will grow closer, becoming very good friends and later lovers. Elle will encourage Jenna to see herself as beautiful, and she will accept her for all that she is. (So sweet.)
• In an attempt to impress Elle, Jenna will...do things. It’s been a long time since Gatsby plottage. I don’t wholly remember. But lots of Gatsby-related things. Green lights and all that.
• Hopefully, a Daisy Buchanan or Jordan Baker will stick their nose in here and screw shit up. /wink
• Elle will continue to investigate Lucas Marx, who will then try to silence her. Elle will only narrowly avoid being eliminated by using her wits, and will ultimately be saved via Jenna’s money and power.

The quirky reincarnate of the one and only Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Edie Allingham loves nothing better than a good engaging mystery. She currently works at Baum Academy as an English teacher, and teaches almost all the high-level courses for this subject – in fact, she is the chair of the department at only twenty-seven years old. People typically find Edie to be an idiosyncratic, surprisingly polite genius, albeit rather condescending at times. Her sexuality is absolutely impossible to determine, as she has never romantically engaged anyone in her life. Though Edie was born in London, England,, she has travelled the world with her parents and therefore has a rather indiscernible accent. After the death of her father, Rupert Allingham, her mother, a Polish author named Benedykta, was so unstable that she was forced to live with her sister. They are estranged. Edie has one half-brother that she highly dislikes, by the name of Kaden Allingham-Hemsworth.
{past}
• Edie met Grace Marchmann, but she’s since disappeared.
• She’s also encountered the graceful Miss Emilie Simone, and expressed to her that she recognizes how bored a young woman of her intelligence must be in her class.
{present}
• She is having her first encounter with Christian Reichenbach, who will someday make for her a formidable opponent.
• She is also just meeting Ms. Johanna Walton, another teacher at Baum.
{future}
• Edie will ask Johanna to move in with her shortly after meeting her. Johanna will agree.
• Edie will continue to keep her eye on Emilie and Christian.
• As she becomes more and more inclined towards investigation of mysteries, she will be accompanied by Johanna.
• In her exploration, she will discover a murder committed by the fearsome Michaela. Her curiosity will be piqued, and a game of cat and mouse will ensue between the two, ending in a face-off in an abandoned warehouse in which Michaela corners Edie. Her panic awakens Sherlock Holmes, who gets her out of the situation easily.
• After the awakening of Sherlock Holmes, Edie will become disinterested in her work as an English teacher and focus fully on engaging her intellect with mysteries. Christian will notice her slacking; Moriarty’s attention will be drawn.
• Insert future Sherlock adventures here.

{julian.christer.sorenson}

Julian is the moody reincarnate of Hamlet, currently but barely dormant. He is a junior at Barrie University, majoring in theater. He is twenty years old. Julian has been much altered by the death of Christer Sorenson, his father, and has lately been incredibly depressed, morose, and snarky, although he does have his good days and remains relatively courteous to others. He tends to be reckless and casual about relationships and does whatever he wants with whomever he pleases, though that may soon change. Julian was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and wants to return there as quickly as possible. His English is very good, although he has a distinctive Danish accent. He deeply distrusts his uncle Xenius and believes (probably rightly) that said uncle killed his father in order to become head of his father’s company. He is very close to his cousin, now stepsister, Cecilie Sorenson, although he is frustrated with her admiration for Xenius. He is currently developing an infatuation for the incredibly stunning Marlena Cartwright.
{past}
• Julian moved to America at the age of 17, shortly after the death of his father in what was termed an “accident” with his pet snake.
• Though Julian loves his mother, he harbors a resentment towards her and his cousin Sunny due to their senseless admiration of Xenius, whom he despises more than anyone in the world.
{present}
• He is presently having his first encounter with the lovely Marlena.
• He also decided to visit the church on a whim, and has been confronted by the ominous Julius Fortescue.
{future}
• Julian and Marlena will fall in love with each other, and their relationship will be very helpful to Julian’s psyche.
• However, when all seems wonderful and nice, Hamlet will awaken, and Julian will be filled day and night with nothing but thoughts of revenge.
• etc. etc.

{gabriel.blazek}
- - - - -
Gabriel is the reincarnate of Gregor Samsa from Franz Kafka’s novella, The Metamorphosis. He is awakened, though he doesn’t actually know it, as his incarnate appears to him as a giant cockroach that he assumes is a hallucination. Gabriel is twenty-three years old and very far from home. Though Gabriel is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, he is nonetheless dutiful, private, and naive. He has not had much freedom to explore his sexuality, so he is as of yet undecided. Born in the small town of Horovice, Czech Republic, he spent the last five years of his life supporting his family in Prague. His English is not very good and he has a thick accent. He currently works as a number-cruncher, and he is alone and miserable, living by himself after having left his family.
{past}
• After five years of selflessly supporting his mother, father, and younger sister, Gabriel suffered a mental breakdown from the stress and became completely certain that he had transformed into a cockroach. This lasted for three months before his family threw him out onto the streets.
• Gabriel nearly died alone in the streets of Prague, but after being found in the streets by the police, he woke up in a homeless shelter to find his delusion had dispersed – but an enormous cockroach began to appear to him, whom he somehow knew was named Gregor.
• After recovering, Gabriel got out of the Czech Republic as soon as possible and came to America, hoping to start a new life.
{present}
• Gabriel has just encountered future friend Angel Dihanie.
{future}
• Angel will help Gabriel become accustomed to life in the United States, aiding him in the meaning of slang, etc.
• When Angel is forced to run away from school, Gabriel will have her stay at his house so she doesn’t have to sleep on the streets.
• At some point, he may encounter Ramona Cassidy.

{archibald.tiberius.kensington}

The dormant reincarnate of John Darling from J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, Archibald, or Archie, recently arrived in the United States to attend Baum. He is presently a high school junior, and is seventeen years old. Archie is known for being a high-class, stubborn know-it-all. He was raised in wealth and it has made him a posh snob, although he is still self-conscious to a surprising degree. He stubbornly claims heterosexuality, but is actually bi-curious. Archie was born and spent the first ten years of his life in Hertfordshire, England, and he retains his refined English accent. He has recently met Christian Reichenbach and finds him quite charming, not knowing that the boy will eventually break his heart.
{past}
• Archie’s parents died in a horrible car accident at the age of ten. He was sent to live with his aunt and uncle, who were much younger than his original parents. They took him to lavish adult parties, and the patronizing laughs and smiles of the grown-ups made Archie seek to become a well-educated adult as quickly as possible.
• He was sent abroad for high school by his new legal guardians.
{present}
• Archie has been attending Baum Academy since his freshman year. He is particularly close friends with one Addison Rowe, with whom he often has afternoon tea.
• He has an intense rivalry with/hatred for the arrogant Freddie Foster, who bullies him frequently. Freddie is convinced that Archie is gay.
• He has just met Christian Reichenbach.
{future}
• Christian will seduce Archie, and the two will have a relationship. Christian will gleefully run off with Archie’s v-card and then drop him when he gets bored.
• Archie’s soul will be crushed by this betrayal, and he will become withdrawn, morose, and unhappy.
• After one particular incident with Freddie, Archie will explode and yell at him before stomping out of the room. Freddie, shocked, will follow after him. Archie will explain what happened to him, and the two will get along a little better after that.
• At some point, John will wake up, and Archie will go on a quest to reclaim his lost childhood.

{joel.alphonse.vulpini}
- - - - -
Joel is the awakened reincarnation of The Fox from The Gingerbread Man, a character that manifests itself in a transformation from man to black fox every new moon. Originally from Chicago, Joel now lives in New York City after a great deal of traveling and works as a porter at the hospital. He is twenty-five years old. Joel has Paranoid Personality Disorder, essentially meaning that he trusts no-one and believes almost everyone exists to harm him. This has driven him to kill those people whom he thinks will hurt him in what he thinks is self-defense, which is why he moves around a lot. His sexuality is more than likely straight, though thus far he hasn’t managed to have any long lasting relationships. He has two siblings, Hannah and Frankie Vulpini, whom he loves and abhors, respectively.
{past}
• Joel was the unwanted child who his father blamed for his mother’s infertility shortly after his birth. He was mistreated by his father and especially his brother, Frankie, whom he grew to hate.
• He grew up loving and protecting his half-sister, Hannah.
• After Hannah left the house, so did Joel, convinced his father was out to murder him. He started killing people shortly afterwards.
{present}
• Joel has just moved back in with his sister, Hannah, with whom he has reunited.
• He’s soon to take a job at the hospital as a porter to bring in some funds to the household.
• His brother is to move in, as well. That will not go over nicely.
{future}
• Possible romance with Tara Wolcott, if she is ever completed.
• Ramona Cassidy will spot him while he’s transformed and track him down, being the first of the other shifters in the pack to discover that he is a shifter, as well.
• Joel will develop somewhat of a crush on Ramona, but will make no moves on her.
• Later on, a murder will go wrong and Joel will appear on Ramona’s doorstep covered in blood, unwilling to tangle up Hannah in his crimes.
