Idea One.
The Undead Chronicles
Zombies aren't the things of movies and horrors. They aren't brainless, staggering killers. They don't dig their way out of the graves and rot at people. The world is set in a slightly future setting. 2012 didn't occur as one would expect, after the doom-date, life continued as we know it. However a few years later, stories started to surface. Rumors. Unfortunately, those rumors are true.
Follow Kayla, a young woman who has been infected by the Pasteur's Virus, and is desperately attempting to make her way across the deteriorated streets of America in a hope to find the cure. Those infected by the Pasteur's Virus had been deemed monsters, and are to be executed on sight. She, along with a few friends she makes along the way hope to find this elusive Cure Holder before their time runs out, and they become the mindless killing machines.
-Pasteur's Virus causes the infected's minds to die at an extremely slow rate. Symptoms include increased cravings for blood and raw meat, death of nerve endings, increased strength, lack of blood flow.
a.) In the cases of Rotters, the Pasteur's Virus has completely taken root. Involving an uncontrollable craving for any meat, lack of conscious thought, and severe Necrosis. These are your stereotypical zombies.
-The Cure Holder is a scientist on the run, who has supposedly developed a cure for the Pasteur's Virus, however our group of characters begin to uncover exactly why the Cure Holder hasn't come forward with the cure. (Let's just say...it's not up to moral standards)
-The Pasteur's Virus victims are shuffled in some places, much like a modern-day Underground Railroad.

Idea Two.
The Search for the Withered Storybook
Raina has a gift, but she doesn't quite see it that way. Her dreams have created a world; since she has been little, each dream she has ever had has connected and created a new universe in an alternate dimension. On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, she falls into a coma. While her body lays in a hospital bed, her mind is transported to the world she has created.
And the peaceful world she has imagined is now in chaos. The Withered Storybook contains the records of her dreams, telling the story of how Rain World has come to be. The concern for Raina is minimal--however she quickly begins to realize that each story, each dream that disappears from her memory and from Rain World signifies her own brain shutting down.
With a group of strange concoctions from her own mind, Raina must quickly find the Withered Storybook, because her life is on the line.

Idea Three[/u]
Hopelack
The world Hope was born into wasn't entirely peaches and cream. The only place that seemed to be safe from the world's sand, waste, and deterioration are the Oasis. Small centers of land in this pit of hell where life continues as regularly as it could. The people of the Oasis have managed to completely forget the rest of the world, and in this forgetting they have managed to put themselves in a horrible danger.
After Ayden is taken from the Oasis, Hope's eyes finally open to the chaos of the world, and she leaves the Oasis in an attempt to bring him back. Outside of the Oasis, she is horrified to learn that the world is on the brink of an all out war, with the Oasis caught right in the middle.
