If Stella Hines had known all along that all it took was to make a deal with Eddie to get him to do something fun, she would have made eight hundred deals by now. She never really thought about what would happen if she lost. Stella didn’t lose. That was, like, obvious. Everybody knew that. She was too competitive to not win. As if that wasn’t enough, you don’t really want to beat Stella. She’s the biggest sore loser ever.
ANYWAY! The whole point of this is that Eddie and Stella made a deal and that she won and now he had to hold up his end of the bargain. And it was gonna be great. The best part had been that the book he picked for her to read wasn’t even that bad. Stella had already forgotten the title of it, but there was a character named Estella. That was the only reason she’d kept reading, to be honest. The whole point was that she had to sit still and read a classic novel. If she was successful, Eddie would have to play messy Twister with her.
Messy Twister is the best game you could ever play. It’s Twister… with paint. It’s the best idea she’s ever heard of!!! And Eddie lost fair and square so now he had to go through with this and it was going to be so much fun. The best part might be that Gerdy was coming to. Stella met the girl in class and they got along like peas in a pod and Stella wondered where she had been her whole life. Besides, you can’t play Twister without a spinner person. And if Gerdy had gotten her last text, she’d be sure to bring a camera. There was no way they could do this without taking pictures. Eddie Brooke was going to be covered in paint and it was going to be hilarious.
Doing her best to be courteous to her roommates, Stella had laid down newspapers all over the floor of their dorm. They were easy enough to find. If she passed a driveway on her run and she saw a newspaper just lying there, she took it. Adults should be thanking her for saving their morning from something boring like news and crossword puzzles. She’d set up the Twister mat and had already poured paint onto half of the circles. So what if she’d borrowed these from the art room without asking? She was going to return them!
Hopefully, Eddie or Gerdy would be here soon. She wasn’t sure who would show up first and it didn’t really matter to her, just as long as they didn’t take forever. Because the last thing Stella was was patient.
notes; this is a reaaaally bad starter. but it's up!

Eddie had honestly signed himself up for this. Making the deal in the first place was stupid and unusual for him, but Stella made him do stupid and unusual things, didn't she? It was like a mixture of in and out of character for Eddie and he didn't like it one bit which was a lie.
The worst part was that he really could have gotten out of this situation had he chosen a harder book. He didn't know what Stella liked and what she didn't like in a book, so he just picked the first one he thought of, one in which she shared a name with a character. She had to read the whole classic novel and Eddie thought he was clever because he knew she hated her name, but apparently she found it interesting because he was dressing in old clothes and making his way to his runner-up prize.
There were tons of other boring books that maybe weren't as lengthy that would have not seen him playing something so un-Eddie as messy twister. Like A Separate Peace. That one was short but boring as all hell. Or To Kill a Mockingbird. That one was okay but a lot longer. He had gone easy on her, obviously, though not NEVER on purpose.
Because it was ridiculous to think that he, Edgar Brooke, would lost a bet against Stella Hines for once, by choice. He wouldn't let her ego go like that, even if he was going to have a bit of fun with her as a result. The thought was ridiculous and maybe a little bit true deep down.
Either way, Eddie was totally NOT going to enjoy this, and it was written all over his face as he did the walk of shame all the way to Stella's room and knocked on the door.
[/justify] { this is so short and just really bad i'm sorry }
