personality Aaron is a pretty serious guy. His name, Ji means "wisdom" and Koo means "to save". He is an observer and is very quiet, watching people's reactions and studying habits and behaviors. He reads people well.
Also, he is a very tough person. He has not cried since he was 4 years old, which in a way, is a very dangerous thing. He bottles up all of his emotions and tucks them into the darkest recesses of his mind. He is slow to anger, but his anger is very fierce. He does not forgive easily, which leads to his lack of close friends. He doesn't show much of any emotion and doesn't smile much.
Despite the fact that he doesn't seem like a fun-loving person, he does want friends and is kind (although rather stiff) to people who need help. His soft side is not shown much, but when he's alone or with someone who is upset, it tends to show more.
past
Soo Han and Min Young met when they were exchange students from South Korea, studying in Los Angeles, California. They decided they liked America and got married. They settled in Santa Monica, California and eventually had twin sons, Aaron Ji-Koo and Albert Yong-Koo.
Aaron was the oldest and possessed leader-like qualities early in life. He helped care and look out for Albert, despite the fact that he was merely minutes younger. He liked the tradition and culture that his parents tried to keep. He was also much more mature than his younger brother and continued to be as they grew.
Albert was a trouble-maker always getting into mischief or fighting with other children. He did not enjoy school, sports or even his own culture. He was much more immature than his brother. He did not get along well with Aaron and often felt envious that people usually preferred his brother over him.
Soo Han traveled a lot for his job, and occasionally Min Young went with him, so the boys were left alone sometimes, with Aaron assuming responsibility in the house.
present Aaron now attends Baum Academy, without his brother Albert. He tries his hardest to get Albert to cooperate with him, but Albert won't even try. As Al got older, he came to a point where he noticed everyone's preference for his brother. He became very bitter and hated his brother's company. He spent more and more time away from the house, getting into drugs, sex and alcohol, attempting to fill himself where the vulnerability still dwells. Albert takes things very literally and offensively. He doesn't have many friends because he's too busy blowing up at everyone, while Aaron doesn't have many friends because of his stiff and serious personality. Aaron can't seem to get along with Albert, despite trying his hardest.
He does his best to do well in school and was often seen as the antisocial brother of Albert, something he doesn't have to deal with at Baum.

movie title Mulan
backstory Captain Li Shang, a Chinese army captain, is a highly capable leader with a dedication to his cause to match, albeit at times being too "by-the-book" and putting his duty above his feelings, in contrast to Mulan. He is often called a 'Pretty Boy' due to his dashing good looks and strong physique. He is reserved and thoughtful, a more logical and calming influence to Mulan's vivacious and reckless personality. Shortly after his initial introduction in Mulan, Shang is appointed newly as an army captain, by his father who is a general. Later, he becomes friends with Ping (who is Fa Mulan disguised as a man), after his life is saved by him/her. Shortly after, however, he finds out she is actually a woman, which is forbidden by the empire's law, punishable by death. After sparing her life, and later helping her save the empire, they become love interests to each other with the closing of the film.
