...basics*
name Anna Elizabeth Clarke
nickname Anna, Ann
age Ninteen
gender Female
grade Freshmen in College
hometown Traverse City, Michigan
sexuality Straight
personification Alice
face claim Evanna Lynch
...appearance*
hair color Anna's hair color is really a dark brown, but she has forever wanted to be a blonde, and thus her current hair color is such. It goes down to her mid-back and is wavy. And as much as she tries, it is very hard to straighten because it is so thick.
eye color Anna has tawny colored eyes that seem to reflect her rich personality. The golden color often makes people think of vampires, which Anna finds very funny indeed. They say eyes expose the soul, and her eyes do everything and that. It is hard for her to hide her emotions, since she wears them upon her sleeve. Her eyes are often filled with extreme versions of what she is feeling, such as anger or happiness.
build Anna is not the worlds smallest person, nor the world's largest person. She is of average build, with a decent amount of muscle from all the running she did. Bone structure wise, the prettiest feature is her Grecian profile, delicate facial features, and long fingers.
height Anna is exactly five feet tall and as such she often wears the tallest pair of heels that she can find, which normally makes her around five four.
clothing style Anna is an artsy girl with a vintage style. She loves history, and is constantly seen in outfits that include neutral colors and a pair of bright colored heels. She constantly has her black bag by her side which contains all of her writing and drawing material. She cares quite a bit about how she looks, but will not obsess over herself like a narcissist. Anna just likes to look decent. That's all.
distinctive traits Anna has her ears single pierced and has a tattoo of a butterfly on her left ankle. Other that, Anna is an average looking girl. The most distinctive thing one could notice, relates to her introverted, curious, emotional personality and mental state.
...personal*
personality Anna is an introverted girl with a large dream. Not only does she dream, but she hopes to grow as a person. She hopes to one day change the world. Anna is reflective by nature and has come to the conclusion that she needs to open up more. However, she isn't quite sure how too. She grew up in a small town and was taught from the very beginning to live a quiet life in a quiet town with good behavior and going to church every week. From the get-go, Anna was a reserved individual who just did her school work and hardly had any friends. However, this does not stop Anna from helping others out. She is extremely intelligent, and was known to help others starting all the way back to Elementary School. Though her forte was in art, music, and english, Anna also did extremely well in science, math, and history. And, being in her nature to help, when others asked for tutoring on a subject, Anna did not refuse.
Anna is a very polite person, but sometimes she wishes she could be a little ruder so she could stand up for herself. It was when she entered high school that she began to get picked on, and being the girl she was, she did absolutely nothing about it. Her self-esteem dropped and soon she found herself crying in bed. Anna's main comfort was her family dog, and her art. She turned her tears into water to paint watercolor of a scene in her favorite book, Alice in Wonderland (figuratively of course).
In addition to the lowering of her self-esteem in high school, and intelligent mind, Anna is also reflective and quiet. She finds herself focusing on every detail, and analyzing it. She asks herself so many questions, some of which she can't find the answer too. Anna isn't a shy person. If she was forced to socialize she would. She just hardly ever does because she notices the small things about people that others fail to acknowledge. Small things such as a man who slides his wedding ring into his pocket to hit on a girl, or a smirk coming from a team sports captain that hints they plan on cheating, or the fake smile that lets Anna know people hate the people they are talking to. It is with all of this on her mind that Anna is reluctant to socialize.
Anna suffers from atelophobia, the fear of imperfection. Anna cannot stand failure, or anything less than perfect. Needless to say, she is a bit of a perfectionist. Even at the slightest of mistakes, Anna thinks she has failed and is worthless. This of course, might just be due to a lack of self-confidence, but it could also just be her nature. Anna is afraid of failure, and doesn't want people to know that she makes mistakes. She also wants most people (except those who are very close to her) to see her as a perfect flawless being.
past
Anna was born on a cold winter morning on the seventh of December. Her parents being superstitious religious folk, immediately knew that she would grow up to be a person for good: Since the number seven is considered holy. Being their first born, Anna received all the attention possible from her parents. Her mother stayed at home, feed and kept her, dressing her in all the adorable pink clothes and booties that newborns can wear. And oh, how the neighbors loved her. They thought she was adorable. The priest even couldn't help but smile as he baptized this girl under the Christian religion.
Anna grew up in the small town, with a loving family and it seemed like she had it all. Elementary school seemed easy enough, and middle school flew right on by. However, this happiness couldn't last, could it.
Anna's freshman High School year wasn't a good one. She decided against doubling up on science, and instead picked up a semester of theatre and art. This is something that the girl regretted her entire life, however that is not what her large secret is about. When she was a freshman, Anna suffered from minor depression. She, like many others, thought that she was worthless. When another person got an overall higher grade in a class then her, Anna would cry herself to sleep that night. Perhaps it was her competition that drove her into a state of depression. Whatever the case, one night, Anna just cracked. She used a pair of scissors in her room to repeatedly scratch her underarm skin until she bled, crying and muttering how she was worthless as she did so. Another night when she was upset because she saw how happy her friends were with their boyfriends and she was single, she laid down on her bed and gripped her hands around her throat until she couldn't breath, and then she finally let go, and fell asleep crying. Though she suffered from all this, Anna could never bring herself to end her life, no matter how much she held a kitchen knife and wished. What stopped her was the small doubt of what would happen after her life. She didn't know what would occur after death, even though she was religious. Anna's fear of the unknown stopped her from taking her own life. Thank goodness Sophomore year was better, because she expanded her friendship group and began to have a different outlook on life.
Anna once found becoming very skinny as appealing. She contacted a friend who was suffering from anorexia and was still recovering, and got some tips on resisting food. Anna vigorously exercised the next couple of months in her sophomore year, and she greatly limited her food in take. Thankfully, her love for food soon overwhelmed her willpower and soon she was back to her food-happy self -- but she did keep up with the exercise.
present When Anna graduated from high school she found herself whirled off to a large city at last. She was accepted into a college in New York City where she could happily reside in a home of her own and complete a double major in fine arts and english. Anna is quite aware that her majors won't pay her now unless she makes it big, but the girl is not worried because she realizes she has her entire life ahead of her. She could always start tutoring again for extra cash if need be.
When she first arrived in New York City, she was quite surprised to find that it was different then what she expected. She admired all the stores and buildings, hoping one day that she could enter all of them and buy their merchandise. Her favorite place of all time though, is the museum of art and both central and hyde park. She pulls her artistic inspiration from those and hopes that one day she might find herself on broadway for scriptwriting. Until then, the girl busies herself with a waiting job at the Wandering Goose Cafe. The tutoring idea quickly fell out of her mind, and Anna soon obtained a job as a waitress. It's not the best, but it pays the bills.
Anna is a freshmen in college, and is looking forward to the new adventure that it will bring. Perhaps finally, she hopes, she can get a boyfriend; for Anna never had one in high school. Her mother told her it was probably better that way, but Anna never agreed. She's seen all those sweet romantic movies, and Anna wants her fairy tale ending.
family
Jamie Marie Clarke was a mom who cared deeply for Anna. She stayed at home and made sure she had everything that she wanted. She is currently fifty, and lives with her husband back in Traverse City.
Robert James Clarke is the father of Anna. He is one of the lawyers in Traverse City, and is in fact in charge of his own company of lawyers. He has traveled everywhere in the United States, and fights to defend criminals. Sadly, criminals need a lawyer too. He is currently fifty-three and lives with his wife in Traverse City.
Anna is an only child.

bic;; "Sir, I have the report right here for you.'' A twenty-one year old female spoke up, setting down a rather large stack of papers onto an older man's desk. The man looked up at the long curly-brunette haired female, nodding, ''Alice, you always outdo yourself. Honestly, you should sit down, and write a novel. Everyone knows you have enough creativity to do so.'' He picked up the report, skimmed through it and then added, ''I just don't think that journalism is right for you.'' There was a pause, ''But you are free to go. You stayed up all night writing this, why don't you go home for a couple days and relax. It's around ten in the morning. You need some coffee and excitement.''
Alice cleared her throat, ''thank you,'' she politely dipped her head and then pivoted on her heeled blue shoes and strode out of the room. She waved goodbye to her fellow work friends and put on her coat as she stepped into an elevator. She buttoned her coat, ''Off to kung fu.'' she told herself, shifting in her blue dress. As soon as the elevator door opened she exited the large glass building and entered the streets of New York. The young woman stood at the edge of the street, raising a slender hand. ''TAXI!!'' she yelled for. A yellow car skidded to a halt. She climbed inside and gave the street address to her house. After all, the young lady would have to change into a more suitable attire for her kung fu class.
The taxi began to weave in and out of traffic, but was stopped no more than two blocks from her house. Car horns honked angrily, and a traffic jam piled up behind them, though it started in front of them. ''I'm sorry miss,'' the taxi driver attempted to explain, ''looks like there's been some sort of accident. Seems like two cars skidded on the ice and hit each other.''
Alice unbuckled her seat, removing some money from her purse, ''that's okay, sir. Here's the fare for how far you've taken me.'' she opened the door and climbed out, soon entering onto the snowy streets of New York City. The young woman began to walk to her house, glancing with her blue eyes at the scene. Two cars had hit each other, like the taxi driver said, but something seemed weird. However, she could not pin point why. Letting out a sigh, the girl entered her apartment building a couple minutes later. She glanced at the clock realizing that with the traffic jam, she would have to walk to her class. That would not be possible. The class started at ten o' five. It was already ten o' five, and if she had to walk, then it would take even longer to reach her destination. ''Looks like I'm staying at home.'' The girl said, glancing around her lonely apartment flat. She went into her room, kicking off her shoes as she looked at the book that sat upon her bed. Alice in Wonderland, it was called.
Alice entered the kitchen, made a cup of tea for herself, and then collapsed onto a chair in the living room. She glanced out the large window which showed falling snow, and piled traffic. Alice continued to stare out this window as she sipped her tea. ''I really should get a boyfriend.'' She whispered to herself, beginning to hum as she drank her tea and thought.
In her entire life, Alice had never had a successful relationship. Her most recent one, with a doctor, lasted for three years. She could have sworn that he was going to propose, but then he broke up with her. The twenty-one year old was heart-broken, but after a while, she accepted the fact that they were not meant to be. Perhaps it was just destiny. Maybe Alice just hadn't met her true love yet. Alice let out a sigh, quickly finishing her tea as she fell into a nostalgic mood. ''I really haven't been happy with my lifeā¦ have I.'' Alice said, talking to herself.
After a couple more minutes she stood up and set her cup into the dishwasher. She was about to turn on some music when the doorbell rang. Frowning because she did not remember why anyone would want to say 'hi' to her, Alice walked over to the front door and opened it. There in the doorway stood her mother. ''It's been almost four months since I've seen you, I thought you might be lonely so I thought I would take you out to lunch. I know it's a tad early for lunch, so maybe we'll just have a brunch, or get coffee. The thing is, I don't want you to be lonely.''
Alice smiled, ''Mother!'' Soon the two were wrapping in a hug, ''I am so happy to see you.'' The hug was dropped and Alice raised a finger. ''Just give me a moment.'' Alice rushed to grab another coat, one that was not yet wet from the snow. She grabbed a black trench coat, throwing that on over her blue dress. She put on a pair of blue ballet flats, put on a head-band and then walked back to the door. ''I'm ready,'' the girl said smiling.
Very quickly her smile fell. ''Mother?'' Alice called, stepping outside, glancing around. For her mother had vanished. Cars were still honking, and no sign of anyone walking up to her steps was noticed. Alice frowned, ''Mother?'' She called again. Nothing. No middle-aged woman was in sight. Alice groaned, ''Great. I'm so lonely that I'm seeing things.'' She pivoted to enter her house, but just then a gust of wind blew. It slammed her door shut. Alice gripped the metal handle, turning the door. However, the door would not budge. ''AAAAHHHH!!!'' Alice exclaimed in frustration. ''Why does this stuff keep happening to me lately?'' Alice massaged her temples, turning back around to face the traffic. ''My boss was right when he said I needed a vacation.''
Alice began to walk down the streets, trying to escape the traffic, and eventually the snow. Unconsciously she bumped into a woman with a huge fur coat, "I'm sorry!" Alice exclaimed, only glancing quickly at the woman before she continued walking.
"Don't worry 'bout it," The woman replied, and she continued walking. She turned down an alley and stopped there where she let the fur coat drop to the ground. "Sure it too cold here in the Grey Wold!" She exclaimed, she pried open a door to an abandoned warehouse, and then approached a mirror. "Well, I'm off for my report!" With that she dove straight through the mirror.
Moments later, the rabbit was sitting on a couch, and a white covered floor. She shook herself off, and glanced at her watch, tapping it with her left hand, "Late, oh dear, I'm late!" She exclaimed, jumping. With the fur coat and hood gone, her distinct rabbit ears were peeping out of her snowy-white hair, and a small cotton tail behind her rump. She walked out of her building very briskly only to stop. "Wait. I'm not late, they're late," She commented. The girl took a whiff of the air, "Or perhaps he is already here?" She asked herself, a frown rising to her face. With a sigh she dropped the frown, "I don't know. He said he would be here to meet me with my report. I need to tell him that I've found Alice!" She exclaimed, a little to loudly. The White Rabbit pivoted on her foot and staggered off back inside her house for a moment to gather her thoughts. Was she one-hundred percent sure that that girl was the savior? Yes. The White Rabbit could tell by her smell that she was different from the other Greys she had ran into. It had been a lot of bumping, but she had finally found the right girl. The girl had unconsciously been pacing back and forth. She stopped, sniffed the air again and then walked back outside, "Where are you Mr. Hatter?" She asked, looking up at the sky.
