personalityAllie can mostly be described in one word: curious. She has always been curious, and will always be curious. It isn't the acceptable, normal curious though. It's more like the insanity, I-need-to-find-this-out curiousness. When Allie is curious about something, she is going to find it out, no matter what it takes.
past Allie has always been searching for something. She was adopted a couple weeks after she was born, and was raised by a single mother who could never have children of her own. However, Allie always felt that her mother was hiding something from her, and grew up always asking her mother where she came from and who she was. Allie's mother never would giver her a straight answer, which frustrated Allie to no end.
Allie tried every extracurricular activity, from dance to karate to debate trying to find anything that could answer her most important questions: Who am I? What am I meant to be?. But nothing ever felt quite....right. In an effort to fill some sort of blank space inside her, Allie had been involved in quite a few 'accidents.' Like setting her room on fire. Which was, although it may have not looked like it, an attempt to start a candle making business. Or the time she 'accidentally' attempted to rob a flower store. Which was totally explainable. I mean, how else would she have known that she wasn't meant to lead a life of crime? Everyone robs something at one time in their life, right?
Allie had always hated being so short. It just made her feel small and out of place, like the whole world was too big for her and was going to eat her whole. She was constantly being mistaken for a 12 year old, which was never a compliment. Friends were hard to find, because none of them ever took her 'ideas' seriously. Allie assumed it was because she looked so young. As if starting a rubber frisbee company for squirrels was silly. Pshh.
Allie grew up a bit too quickly, experimenting with boys at an early age. It wasn't that she was fickle, though. She was just looking for a part of her that she just couldn't find. She would have a boyfriend for two days, only to have her completely disgust him by day three. The longest relationship Allie has ever had was one week, the shortest 2 hours. Allie expected that she would just see her other half and just know he was the one, and when that didn't happen she soon lost all hope for the relationship entirely.
present Allie is a senior in high school and Baum Academy, and her mother has finally gotten fed up with all of Allie's misdemeanors and has put her in the dorms. Being a senior, Allie's had to face a lot of questions, especially her least favorite: what are you going to do with you life after high school? The truth was, Allie didn't know. And she knew she had to find out this year. The answer had to be somewhere around the corner. And Allie is going to do everything she can to find it.

rp sample A big tan hand blocked the sun from dark chocolate-brown eyes as a seemingly average looking eighteen year old boy walked down a seemingly average looking street to a seemingly average looking school. His light, honey-colored hair was just recently cut short for the 'big day,' as requested by his mother. The long, matted hair he had grown in Juvie wasn't socially acceptable in the real world, she constantly reminded him. The only thing that separated him from what he used to look like was the '435' tattooed on his left wrist.
Michael Ciriban used to be a normal kid, and pretty much did everything that was expected of him. . He got decent grades, was a linebacker on the football team, hung out with the same group of jocks, was horrible at Spanish and he dated a cheerleader named Kaylee. She could be kind of a bitch at times, but she had a good body so he dealt with her.
However, everything changed on one night, on the very same block Michael was walking down now.
It was a normal night. Michael usually attended parties on the weekends, as expected of him. He also drank a little, as was expected of him. Okay, maybe a bit more than a little. Or a lot more than a little. But his house was five minutes away, and he was only a bit dizzy. However, as he started to drive, dizziness turned into blurriness, and then into dizzy-blurriness, and by the time he saw the girl it was too late. He heard a large bang and a scream, and that was it. His brain told him to stay and call the cops, but his instincts were telling him to run. So run he did. It was a stupid idea, he knew that. But at the time it seemed like the best thing to do.
Of course the police caught him. Leaving his car at the scene probably wasn't the best idea if he wanted to get off scot-free. The next few weeks seemed like a horrible nightmare: getting in a cop car, testifying in a courtroom, the look on his five year old sister Jenna's face as he was sentenced to a year in Juvie.
It was the longest year of his life. He was used to being the tall guy, standing at a good 6'1, and he was pretty fit from football. But here, he was the skinny guy from that small town down west. Beatings were a regular occurrence, and the only thing he had to look forward to were the visits from his family. His mom and his dad came every Wednesday, and brought him some snacks and letters from his aunt and uncle. They weren't allowed to bring Jenna, and Michael knew they didn't want to. They had told her he had gone off to another school for a year, because he had done something bad. She wrote him letters occasionally, sending him colorful crayon pictures depicting her day at school. Although he was teased about it mercilessly by his cell mates, her letters meant everything to him. She was all he had left.
Kaylee never visited him. His friends never wrote, not even once.
He never found out the name of the girl he hit. He didn't want to. Adding a name would have just made things worse. It was best if she stayed anonymous.
So now he began again. He never would have thought his senior year would start like this. Parties, friends, college, it was all out the window now. He heard that Kaylee had a new boyfriend. He didn't really care. Everything was different now.
He finally reached the school grounds. He heard the whispers as he walked towards the large brick building, he knew that everybody knew. There was nothing he could do anymore. Everything was gone. All he could do was keep on walking and hold his head high.
(P.S: This is my first time roleplaying on proboards, so excuse my horrible image/layout stuff. I'm learning as I go.)
