personality
Constance is very calm and relaxed, rarely getting worked up about anything. She tries to stay away from any bad influences that are out there, in hopes of gaining a good reputation for the monestary in Manhattan she wishes to join. She is very sociable, although she's smart enough to talk to the right people, and to avoid anyone particularly shady or perverted. Because of this, Constance can sometimes be prejudging, avoiding the people who seem to be bad influences, although she has the belief that she has to be gentle and generous to all people.
And while Constance seems to be street-smart, talking to and hanging with what few right people she has, she is actually dyslexic, which was why she did rather poorly in school. She was a C-average student, and yet her teachers (not knowing of the disorder she had) thought she had much more potential and just wasn't trying hard enough. She is also very homophobic and tends to stay away from gays and lesbians.
Constance is like a second mother to Eric because she is there when their parents couldn't be. She had also grown to be very overprotective of him because she is afraid he will be exposed to bad influences (such as Martin. xD) like she herself would be threatened to.
past
For the first five years of her life, Constance was an only child, getting showers of love and attention from her young parents. She was their only pride and joy when her mother gave her the news that she was pregnant again, and they would soon be having another family member. Constance was confused for a while, but eventually she got it and anxiously awaited the event.
When young Eric came home for the first time, Constance knew, deep in her gut, that she had to watch over him, to protect him. This was all the more true because, near the time when Eric was old enough to walk and talk on his own, Constance was allowed to stay at home alone with Eric, and so a babysitter was rarely necessary. This was around the same time that Constance claimed to have recieved a vision telling her her path in life was to become a sister of God - a nun in a monestary near Manhattan.
Ever since then, she has divided her life, caring for young Eric part-time and making her life as pure as possible. It got somewhat harder ever since Eric started begging to go to the most recent Broadway shows, and Constance hated to say no to him, but sometimes she had to when it was a bad day. She also had to balance herself with school, where she was given the challenge to rise to at least a B-student or else she would have to kiss college goodbye (for she wanted to get as much education as possible to gain practical knowledge for the monestary).
But when Eric woke up on his first day of senior year, that was surely when he needed his sister the most. Even though she was dyslexic, she made her way through high school at the skin of her teeth and recieved permission to miss the first few days of her college freshman year to guide her troubled baby brother through his first days of the worst time of his life. Her life shifted more to helping him, and she began failing college because of her frequent visits.
present
Constance still visits Eric at Baum on Friday nights by permission of his counselors. She still pursuits her beliefs of purity, staying away from as many bad influences as possible while protecting Eric at the same time. Constance is not afraid to admit that she babies Eric sometimes, but only because he wants to (why, she'll never know).
She isn't a very well-rounded student because she only participates in academics, and she rarely even has time for that. It's probably about time she told Eric to grow up and stop depending on her so much, as much as she would hate to confess to him how much his issues were interfering with her schedule...

book title Phantom of the Opera
backstory Madame Giry's role is actually controversial varying throughout the various versions of the story. In the book itself, she's a medium character, important to the story but not mentioned as often as the other major characters. Madame Giry is most credited for being the "Opera Ghost's" boxkeeper, being his only faithful patron in the book. In the musical and main movie adaptation, however, she has a much major role, replacing the character only known as the Persian completely, taking over the role of Erik's savior and only real "friend" other than Christine. In other versions, Madame Giry simply isn't mentioned at all, giving more attention to the main trio.

rp sample Apparently, Nathan wasn't the only one to think that going on dates with women was more difficult than war. Whitherisp was all the more nervous when he and Saskia had arrived at the movie theater. When they were in the line to confirm their tickets, Whitherisp jittered anxiously, looking around at the other mortals... er, people there in line.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Juil and... wait... was that...? Who was following her? Could that have possibly been...? No, it couldn't be Nathan. Nathan was dead, wasn't he? Oh, wait, it was he himself that was supposed to be dead, and Nathan was alive. Well, that wasn't good.
And he didn't want to speak, either, because Nathan would possibly recognize his voice. And that wasn't good, since he and Nathan weren't on good terms.
Maybe he should have just stopped panicking and stood calmly in line with Saskia beside him, waiting to confirm their tickets. Because if he panicked too much, then Nathan would probably see through his mortal disguise. Wait, was this really a disguise? Ugh...
"Nat, don't look so overheated. Just stay calm," Juil stated as she let Nathan in the door. "It's really not that big of a deal."
She walked behind Whitherisp and Saskia, gesturing for Nathan to follow her. Whitherisp mentally panicked, but he stayed as calm as possible, trying not to go overboard or even speak...
