The Becket Plot

Soo this is kinda just as much for my benefit as it is for getting the idea communicated to other people. If I seem to have a hell of a lot of random information like names or back stories for irrelevant characters, then try to ignore it xD Also, I'll try and organize everything by CATEGORIES!

1. Initial Setting

Story starts in the middle of an Alternate Universe where most of the stating characters live inside a large walled garden with no doors or exits. While there are other characters and societies who live outside the walls, these people have blocked themselves off. This world doesn't have much in the way of technology, but use elements of magic in every day life. Everyone has come into some contact with magic within the garden, and only outside it do people think of magic as anything special.

Note: While the people in the garden don't know it (for the most part) their magic comes from the dark stone statue at the edge of the wall that is in fact a trapped nature god. . . it will all become clear later on xD

2. Characters and Assorted Back Stories!

- Lydia - Main Character - 15 years old - She has lived in the Garden all her life with her quirky grandmother, and has never found out what happened to her mother.

She is among the first generation to be raised in the garden, though she thinks it has been there forever. Because she isn't well liked, she spends most of her time quietly following the group of older children of the Garden and trying desperately to fit in.

- Ava - Lydia's Grandmother - ...old - Ava refuses to go outside, getting frantic and worried whenever anything prompts her to do so. She worries intensely about the safety of Lydia and hates that she has to let her leave the house to get food and such. Ava is obsessive about a dull necklace she wears at all times.

-Aaron - Lydia's main stalkee - 19 - The most beautiful boy in Lydia's eyes and the detached head honcho of the group of four that she follows around, Aaron's main purpose is to look cool and occasionally act a tad cruel to Lydia. When he and his buddies awaken the statue, he embodies Summer.

-Isaac - One of the four - 17 - the youngest of the group and the most "Innocent", Isaac is the one mostly trying to do his best to fit in with the group, doing his best to make laugh when supposed to and keep the other three happy. He takes the most pity on Lydia and is the only one to question reanimating the statue. He embodies Autumn.

-Simone - "girlfriend" of Gabriel, but she's slept around with Aaron - 18 - Simone is the bitchiest to Lydia, and is pretty venomous in general. She is hardly faithful to Gabriel and is always keeping her eyes on Aaron. She's all for awakening the statue "Just for some fun". She embodies spring.

-Gabriel - "Boyfriend" of Simone - 18 - Gabriel is the most detached of the group. His first lover Mina drowned in the lake a year before, and Simone only screwed him to get him out of his depression, which failed miserably. He still is horribly depressed and when the idea to reawaken the statue came up, he was all for it, if only for the slight chance that the nature god might be able to bring back his Mina. He embodies Winter.

-Caleb - Merchant's Assistant - 16 - Caleb gets attacked by the four as he's trying to go to a different town for supplies. Lydia finds him in the wake of the others and he joins her in following after them whlie he secretly falls in love with her.

-
