...personal*
personality Ester is the kind of girl you watch out for. She’s violent, negative, grumpy, and almost impossible to like. She’s the girl at the party that’s sitting in the corner, snarling at the passing by people. Manipulative and vicious, most students consider her a monster, or witch (what a coincidence!) in mental terms. So Ester is moreover the be-scared-of-me-or-else type of girl.
Despite her violent reputation, Estella has a few little things about her that isn’t negative. For one thing, she’s a hopeless romantic. Love is a soft subject for Estelle, and although she’d never admit it, she dreams of being loved one day. For another thing, Ester is generally trustworthy. She can keep a secret, tell the truth, whatever. This may be good, but it can also be bad; for example, if you’re wearing a shirt she doesn’t like she’ll straight out say it. She won’t take back a swear or promise. Trust me.
Ester is jealous and manipulative. She doesn’t like anybody else to be ahead of her game. If there’s a girl somebody’s calling “witch #2” (except for her sister, of course) Ester will get back. She’s not the kind of girl that moves on. Instead she holds grudges, and usually for a very long time. You do not want to get on the bad side of the girl. It’s almost impossible to get on her good side, but there’s a slim chance you could slip yourself into her heart.
past Ester was born as the youngest child in the outskirts of Kansas in a small town where most wouldn’t decide to wander off to. Her mother was a drunk, wild, party kind of girl. Her father, on the other hand, happened to be organized, well-together, and…well, he was just smart. Except for when he was at a club and had a wee bit too much beer and… Ester’s older sister was born.
They stayed together for quite a while, but when Ester was born, her mother realized this wasn’t what she wanted. She didn’t really belong in a place like this. She belonged in the city, or in the mountains, but not in a ghost town of Kansas. Eventually, when Ester turned seven, her mother quit the job. She wrote a crappy note saying “I can’t do this anymore.” At least, that was from Estelle’s point of view. Yet her father was completely utterly surprised.
However, Ester cared for her father. He seemed to be in some sort of shock, so the two sisters moved him into Kansas. He always seemed to be a coma, and this was hard for the eight-year-old Estella. She had to learn to deal with life herself, and not ask her father to sort it out for her. By her tenth birthday, Ester had became a master at everything violent and negative. Her life had become a game, and to win she couldn’t back out.
When she turned thirteen, her sister decided to move them to New York. Ester was against it, as Kansas was her home. It was also where she was known as the scariest eighth grader known to mankind. However, she finally agreed and they moved to New York City. The city was a change from the old ghost town they lived in, and soon Estella realized she hated it. The noises, the people, and the damn chatty girls. She became more of the emo girl than the punk girl that beat you up.
Soon she and her sister were admitted into Baum after Ester’s begging of quitting public school. Estelle didn’t really adapt to her environment till she was a Sophomore. She was awakened. (see roleplay example to find out what happened.) Soon everything became more of a trance. The Wicked Witch of The East drove Estelle to open up her heart a little, but the witch also gave Ester some horribly wrong choices. (such as punching that boy’s nose when he called her fat.)
present Now Ester calls herself “separate”. She left her sister and father after realizing she wanted to be separate; the Wicked Witch of the East told her this. She was, after all, nineteen, and she was allowed to make choices herself. She got a part time job working at the club (hey, this girl’s got some persuasive skills too) and in the meantime did little homework and more grumbling.
Life has gotten just a bit easier since they moved. The Witch (as she called her voice now) has gotten much more irritating, but Ester finally got used to the fact that she had a large imagination. She never really believed in magic, and she still hasn’t changed her mind. Life is pretty easy on her this year, and nothing really exciting has happened yet… but will it? ;D

...literature*
book title The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
backstory A small girl named Dorothy is whisked away into the world of Oz in a tornado. Unluckily, the Wicked Witch of the East happened to be crushed by her house and killed. She was the ruler of the Munchkin Country, and was claimed to be cruel. After all, how could a sister of the Wicked Witch of the West not be at least mean? Anyway, the Wicked Witch of the East also was told to own the famous silver slippers that Dorothy RUDELY stole (that’s what The Witch tells Ester) and used.

rp sample (as of when Ester finds out about the Witch…)
Ester groaned when the bell rang. It was the first period of her first day of being a Sophomore. More than five people had called her the “Wilkins Witch” this morning, and although she enjoyed the attention, she didn’t exactly cherish corny insults. Especially from the sexiest bitch in town. Although, she could shoot back some pretty good comebacks now that she thought about it.
Ester realized she was late and started running towards the chemistry classroom. She snorted when she saw at least half the class staring at her. When they saw her expression, they quickly turned away and continued with their books. Estella instead decided to sit with Miss Popular-bitchy-pants. This ought to be interesting, she thought. “Hey,” she said, and wiggled her eyebrows at the petty girl. She snarled back, “what the hell are you doing in that chair?!” Ester laughed. “Ooh, touchy, are you? I just happened to pick this seat, anything wrong with that?” She resisted the urge to laugh.
“Whatever,” she rolled her eyes. Ester shrugged and continued listening to the drawling of the teacher’s voice. When he started off with the whole “safety” thing and showed them the Safety shower, Ester narrowed her eyes at Miss popular-pants and her three friends, who happened to be mouthing “Loser” straight at her.
Ester sweetly said, “May I please demonstrate?” Before the teacher could say anything, she pushed the stupid bitch under the shower and instantly soaked her in water. A satisfied smirk on her lips, Ester was about to run when the girl said, “Wait, I’ve got to say something. I’m sorry.” This oughta be good, Ester thought yet again, and turned around. “Oh, really?”
The girl laughed as she splashed a particular chemical on Ester’s shirt, leaving a red scorched mark. “Nope!”
This was extremely embarrassing. Ester ran to the bathroom, not daring to look back. She looked at her reflection to see… herself.
Wait, but where did that wart come from? And was that… green skin?!
“Hello, pretty girl.” Ester screamed. “Don’t be scared. It’s just… you.” Estella swallowed. “Is this some kind of joke? Are you a senior or something?” “No. I’m the Wicked Witch of the East, of course. I’m you, and you’re me, and you’re having problems, so now I (and I'm partially you) shall be guiding your way.”
Ester dropped her mouth open in shock.
Her life was about to change… A lot.
