clothing style Greyson dresses on the fancier side of the clothing spectrum. Don't expect to catch him in a pair of jeans and t-shirt that often, although he does occasionally wear them. He likes to present himself as a very put together man since his mind is not so put together, so most of the time you'll catch him in some type of casual suit.
distinctive traits Usually walks very slowly with his head down and hands in his pockets. He also is a bit on the slow side when he talks, taking every word into consideration before he speaks. However, even though he thinks before he speaks a lot of the stuff he says just doesn't make sense to anyone except himself.
...personal*
personality Depression is a big aspect of Greyson's personality. They often say that those who are in the field of psychology suffer from mental disorders themselves, and Grey is no exception since he was diagnosed with chronic depression at the tender age of twelve. In general he is sort of a gloomy little guy, quick to point out the negative of a situation and just being a pretty big party pooper.
In contrast with his 'doom and gloom' personality Grey does enjoy spending time with a few close friends of his. If he finds out they did something, and he wasn't invited, he will get upset. He does enjoy being around people, but others tend to not enjoy being around Greyson. He isn't the happiest person around, and it doesn't take long for that side of her personality to overtake whoever he is hanging out with and make them upset too. Generally his friends are really upbeat people, completely opposite of himself, so that it's less likely his depressive mood will effect them.
Greyson does think before he speaks, which is just sad when you take into consideration that a lot of what he says is either offensive of just doesn't make sense. He isn't afraid to point out the flaws of a person, partly because he doesn't really care for the feelings of others and partly because he just lacks social skills. When he isn't saying something slightly unkind he is muttering random bits of nonsense that only make sense to himself. Every so often he'll voice one of those random thoughts which usually ends in his nodding his head and staring off into the distance while everyone within hearing range stares at him with a blank expression on their faces.
past Greyson was born to a pair of average middle class people, meaning both of his parents worked like dogs to create a decent living space for young Greyson and his brother and sisters. Grey was the second oldest child born, meaning as soon as he came out of the womb he already had a best friend, his older sister. She was only three years older, and from the moment Greyson could crawl he would follow her all around the home. Four years later Greyson's little brother and sister were born, twins, and suddenly he wasn't the baby of the family anymore.
It was difficult for his parents to take care of two baby twins, two older children, and work full time. So, Greyson's grandmother moved into their home to help raise the children. While grandma was usually busy with the twins Greyson spent even more time with his older sister, who was pretty much in charge of keeping Greyson safe. Life was pretty typical, and growing up Greyson was a pretty happy little kid. He liked school once he started, he had friends, and he completely and utterly loved his family.
Around the time of puberty, twelve to be exact, is when the problems started. His older sister was no a freshman in high school, meaning she paid less and less attention to Greyson. The twins usually hung out with each other, meaning Greyson was just a bit neglected by his family for the first time. Not only that, but he began suffering from random bouts of sever depression, sometimes going as far as to lock himself in the bathroom and refuse to speak to anyone or go to school. At first his family thought he was just having typical teenage fits, but as the bouts of depression increased instead of decreased they decided to take him to a professional. It didn't take them long to diagnose him with depression, which is actually a good thing since that's what started his loving for psychology.
Throughout high school he became obsessed with the topic, researching it more and more and finally deciding that he wanted to work in that particular field. Despite his depression he always maintained a tight knit group of friends, even though they did fight often because of Greyson's lack of understanding the feelings of others. There were a couple girlfriends here and there, but none lasted long simple because they couldn't deal with Greyson for long periods of time. After high school Grey attended University, eventually obtaining a Masters in Psychology, the highlight of his life.
present Currently Greyson is taking part time classes to obtain his PhD in Psychology. He would take more classes to get it faster, but that is rather difficult given his job. Grey teachers Psychology at the local high school, meaning he as little time to attend school himself between grading papers and whatnot. He does enjoy his job, but he would much rather become a college professor so that he would be able to fully teach without holding back, instead of having to give his high school students the watered down version of psychology which is easier for them to understand.
He lives by himself in a nice little home that he is currently paying mortgage on. Live is good for him, but he still suffers with his depression everyday. For awhile he was on medication, but now the pills seem to have stopped working for him. Although his depression is mild at this point, there is always this blackness he can feel at the back of his mind that is constantly threatening to swallow him whole and consume him completely. Grey is trying his best to ignore it, but it's only a matter of time. In the meantime he spends all his time when he isn't teaching or in class himself with his very good friends, going out and trying to have a good time which is hard for him to do.

...literature*
book title the many adventures of winnie the pooh.
backstory Eeyore is the downer of Winnie the Pooh. His that cute little donkey looking thing that always has something negative to say. By far he is the most 'emo' out of all the characters in the book, yet they all seem to love him nonetheless. He lives in a little wooden shack that is often falling down and barely even covers him in the first place. He'll randomly pop out of no where and spew some words of wisdom, usually something depression or completely and utterly random.

rp sample *From a ghost city type of site. While a member of the living club Addison had never been a heavy drinker. Throughout her entire life she had been on different types of medication, all of which discouraged the consumption of alcohol while taking the pills. She did drink, occasionally during her remission periods, but there really hadn't been all that many of those so she had never really experienced being shitfaced drunk. Not that she was complaining, though, because that was something she really didn't care to experience. Addie liked to keep herself in control, hence she just drank a little when she did. It was enough to have fun, but not nearly enough to lose control of herself.
This lovely evening Addie had decided to visit the local Empress pub, a quaint little place that was usually pleasantly filled with people. Of course, those people tended to be the living which to a normal ghost meant no contact. Addie, of course, wasn't exactly your typical ghost. Just because she couldn't communicate with the living didn't mean she couldn't enjoy a one-sided conversation. She was a big people watcher, and after observing people for long she realized that they didn't need to talk in order to have a conversation. As long as the living human was talking to someone else she could pretend to talk to them by following along with the conversation. Once in a blue moon she'd get a one-sided conversation with a living person that actually seemed as if it were real. So what if it was a little pathetic? This particular evening there were no other ghosts at the pub besides the one ghostly bartender, so Addie did what she had to do to keep herself occupied.
Sitting her cute little black jean clad bottom on a stool at the bar, she motioned for the bartender to refill her simple glass of whiskey. Addie tended to drink only pure alcohol, none of those sissy mixed drinks that tasted more like fruit or chocolate than what the alcohol that was in them. While she waited for her refill to come she spun herself around, placing her elbows against the bar counter as she leaned back and surveyed those who were at the pub. Absentmindedly, she played with the bottom of her shirt, a simple black and white striped tank top with a black vest thrown on top, and allowed her gaze to sweep the pub while she waited for some people to sit near her. She didn't have to wait long, because even before her drink could be refilled two people came to sit with her, one taking the stool to her left and the other sitting right on top of Addie. Grumbling about the living man's rudeness, she picked herself up and moved to the next stool over. Although neither of them felt discomfort from sharing a stool it was just awkward to have a person sitting in you.
At her new stool, and with a new drink, she positioned herself so that she was facing the pair of talking men and quietly listened in to their conversation. The smile on her face slowly started to slid off when she realized the two men were talking about sports, a subject she knew completely nothing about unless it was soccer, which it wasn't. Sighing, she sipped at her drink while listening to the conversation. With an elbow on the bar she rested her head in her hand and waited for someone else to come along, hoping that someone ghostly would grace her with their presence since being ignored by everyone was dreadfully boring.
