...personal*
personality Jude is a very kind, adoring person. He always tries to cheer up anyone when they are down on their luck, rather they want him to or not. He was always taught as a young boy to be polite and kind. Estelle would make him say please and thank you at all times. If he didn’t, then Jude would have to endure a whooping. It may seem a bit harsh but it taught him well. Now-a-days, Jude never forgets his manors.
Although a very kind and concerned person, Jude can also be a bit harsh and blunt at times. He is never afraid to speak his mind, and finds it hard to hold back his thoughts on any matter. This may come off as a bit foolish to some, but that’s just how Jude’s mind works. When in school he would often be punished for back talking the teachers. He is never afraid to get things done. No matter what must be done.
Even though he may be a softy, Jude can also be very courageous at times. Whenever there is a ‘hero’ needed in someone’s life, he is usually there to take that position. Being as brave as he is, Jude usually never backs down from fights or challenges. He doesn’t change himself for anyone, which is another way he shows his bravery.
If there is anything that Jude got from his alter ego, Jack, it would be his naïve-ness. He believes that there is good in everyone and tries to find it. If he cannot, then he believes that he can change that person into a good person. Jude is, of course, not capable of this but that doesn’t stop him. He has also been called gullible in his day. He’s always being caught falling for the most obvious jokes or pranks. Jude would truly trade his cow for beans if he had the chance. For these reasons, he has maintained a bit of innocence in his day.
past Before even half of the Clarke children were born, Mr. and Mrs. Clarke moved to a vacant farm that Mr. Clarke’s family had once owned. Mr. Clarke couldn’t help but want to move to the lot and revive it to glory. This proved to be harder than Grandfather Clarke had made it seem. The farmer started off to well, but soon started to go bad. The family continued to grow and it became increasingly hard to keep all of them well fed and clothed. The oldest siblings had to chip in and get jobs as the younger children helped with the farm work.
Just as things stated to look up, Mr. Clarke fell ill. Mrs. Clarke quickly rushed her husband to the doctor, but it was too late to help him. The doctor told them that Mr. Clarke would be dead within the hour. The illness that feel upon him was unknown, and still remains a mystery to this day. This only added onto the family’s grief.
After the death of the family’s main provider, the farm went under fast. Mrs. Clarke had to resort to selling away their livestock. If that wasn’t enough, their crops began to die as well. Soon the Clarke family would be focused to sell the only land they had been able to call home.
In the mist of all the bad fortune, Mrs. Clarke had grown bitter and vein. She began to blame her children for the misfortune. She made all her children do the hard work around the farm as she stayed inside their house and grieved for her fallen love. This continued on many years after Mr. Clarke had passed.
One sunny day in the spring, Jude was called upon by his mother to do a small task for her, walk to town and sell their last living cow. Jude had loved that cow as if it was his own sibling. Truth be told, that cow was his only friend at the time. He would never darn go against his mother’s will, so Jude agreed.
After he had returned from school that evening, Jude took his beloved cow on the road in hopes of selling him. The small village he lived in was very old fashion in various ways. It held a stock exchange every Friday evening. This was where most of the Clarke’s livestock had been sold at, and where Jude was going that day.
At the exchange, Jude stood with his favorite animal as he awaited a person willing to pay the amount of desired money. He stood there for at least two hours before there was even one person to offer him anything for the cow. This man offered an exchange of Jude’s cow for a golden retriever puppy. He had always dreamed of having a dog of his own. He eagerly jump at the opportunity. He did this without thinking of the consequences of course. When he returned home there was hell to pay for his actions. Jude was shunned for his foolish behavior. He’s oldest brother, Martin, killed the pup that he had brought home with him.
His own family wanted nothing to do with him. Jude felt ashamed got his actions and thought it be best to run away and to never returned. So he packed his things, took the money he had secretly been saving, and left home. Jude sought it be best to run to America. He thought he could be more helpful there and not be destructive like he was at his home. He hoped the first ship to America and he was off.
present Now-a-days, Jude is attending Baum Academy while working two jobs. He felt this life style to be the best answer. He’d much rather be a hardworking student then to be shunned at his old home. Besides that, Jude enjoys the big city a lot more than he did the little village back in England.
Jude also hangs around with a few of his choice people now and again. He definitely not the most sociable person, but at least he tries to have a bit of fun from time to time.

book title Jack and The Bean Stalk.
backstory Jack is a naïve boy who trades his family’s last hopes for money, a cow, to a ‘magic’ man for magical beans. Once he returns home, his mother is tremendously upset with him and throws the seeds out the window in her rage. She sends him to his room without dinner, but in the next morning a humongous bean stalk had grown where the beans fell. It reached passed the clouds. Jack couldn’t believe what he saw. Being the curious lad he was, Jack decided to climb the mountainous stalk. At the top he found a castle and tried to steal a goose how laid golden eggs. How lovely? Long story short, a giant chased him, he cut down the stalk to kill the giant, and his family never went hungry again. Happily ever after, the end.

Silence filled the air as Lori entered the room. Did everyone know? Was it that obvious? She glanced from face to face hoping to find someone who wasn’t looking up to her. Her hopes were crushed by the dead glares that all the adolescents in the room seemed to give her. Pulling down her hood to shield her reddened cheeks, Lorilei continued on her way as she laid a hand on her stomach. She quickly dashed to the back of the room and took a seat in one of the most secluded chairs.
Pulling a book from her tote, Lorilei took another glance around only to see people’s head turn. Like she didn’t know everyone was looking at her. Did they think she was that dimwitted? A small sigh of defeat escaped her lips as she sunk into the wood chair. She fixed her glasses and pretended to be lost in her book, but how could one be so oblivious to her surroundings? There was no way that she could take her mind off of the numerous teens starring a hole in her.
It was horribly obvious that no one wanted anything to do with her. She was nothing more than the school’s whore now. It was almost unfair that she had to not only endure the morning sickness but the awkward return to her school. It was now clear to Lori that she should have skipped that day, but that won’t have helped her. If she would have skipped that day then the rest of the month would have been gone as well. Who knows? Lorilei might have skipped out of high school all together. What was the point in coming if everyone already seemed to despise her anyway? She didn’t see one that was for sure.
