clothing style Mason has got that whole scene kid look going on, with the just rolled out of bed hair and pants so tight it's a wonder how he manages to get them on. Usually you'll catch him in a t-shirt with some catchy saying on it, if not that then someone slightly fancier like a vest with a nice shirt underneath. He doesn't wear makeup like most other 'scene' kids, but he does love his jewelry and usually has about a million bracelets on and at least one necklace.
distinctive traits Tattoos, even though he's relatively young he got into tattoos at an early age and now he's got a nice little collection. When he walks he tends to walk all over the place, never in a straight line, so he kinda looks like a broken puppet. It's also really easy to tell when he's lying since it's painfully obvious, nothing really changes about him or anything but you can just tell he's lying.

personality Mason is a compulsive liar, meaning he will lie about anything and everything for no particular reason. Fortunately, it is relatively easy to tell when Mason is lying because it's very obvious. Nothing changes physically when he is lying, but you can just tell when he is doing it. Even the most gullible person would be able to pick up on a lie told by Mason. Most of his lies are harmless, but sometimes they aren't so harmless. They range from little white lies to completely and utterly humongous lies. Recently, though, Mason has been trying to tell the truth more often. Unfortunately, he doesn't really get the concept of telling to truth to well which usually results in him being brutally honest. Basically, either he is lying to you or completely offending you by telling you how truthfully horrible you look or act. The poor boy really can't win, which is why a lot of people can't stand him.
In general Mason is kind of a jerk. He is pretty loud and obnoxious, and his constant lying tends to piss people off. Then when he tries his best to tell the truth he still pisses people off because of his complete honesty. Despite the fact that most of the time he gets people angry he likes to be around people constantly. He's your typical little show off, yelling off his accomplishments, which is usually pure lies, or just making fun of random people to get more people to pay attention to him. Mason likes to party, and party hard, meaning when you see him he'll most likely have a bottle in his hand or a joint tucked behind his ear. Actually, he'll probably have both.
There is a softer side to Mason, a small part of himself wants to change and become a better person. Now that he's in college he really wants to grown up and become 'a real man'. He's into music, and has played a few shows, but then he ends up insulting whoever put on the show and never gets called back again. He's cheated on nearly all of his girlfriends or boyfriends just because he can't help himself. However, he starting to get sick of that lifestyle. He just wants to get a record out and find someone he can spend his free time cuddling. He's trying really hard to change himself for the better, but it's proving to be difficult.
past Mason Elijah Ludovic was born and raised in La Rochelle, France. His mother was a college student from America who was studying abroad, and his father happened to be her boss at a small cafe she was working at. The two had a whirl-wind romance, his mother getting pregnant after just about a month of the two of them being together. They were completely and utterly in love with each, so much so that just a month before Mason was born his mother completely removed herself from America and instead decided to live in France, transferring to French college and everything.
Little Mason was the darling of both his mother and father. They really hadn't planned on having a child together, but once they actually did they realized that it really wasn't all that bad having a kid. He was their love child, meaning he was the physical representation of their love for each other. As such, he was completely and utterly spoiled rotten as a child. Growing up he got whatever he wanted as long as his parents could afford it, which they usually could since they live an upper middle class lifestyle. His first language for French, being that they lived in France, so he developed a lovely little French accent early on in his life. His mother wanted him to be able to speak English, though, so she taught him that as well and eventually he was able to master both languages.
Alas, this quaint little lifestyle was not meant to last. Although his parents were madly in love when the first met, like so many other love stories their didn't last. When Mason was seven the fighting started, and just a few months later his parents were completely and utterly divorced. His mother had custody of Mason, but he went to live with his father every weekend. It was a bit of a drastic change, and little Mason acted like a brat during the entire breakup, but after awhile the broken family got used to this new lifestyle. His mother picked up a second job, and his father began to send his mother child support.
At age twelve, at this point Mason's lying problem was clearly evident, his mother met a new man and ended up marrying him. This was when Mason first began to cause trouble, your typical kid throwing a fit when he finally loses all hope that his mother and father will get back together again. The lying became completely and utterly out of control, while Mason also started to cause some trouble as school getting into fights with other kids. As the years progressed he also got into the party scene which caused his mother and step-father countless sleepless nights wondering if he was ever going to make it home. To make things even worse his new step-father was obsessed with collecting dolls, and Mason had a huge fear of all types of dolls, puppets, and mascots. The more his collection grew the less time Mason spent at home until it was eventually decided that he would live with his father.
present Just a few short months ago Mason left his father and his country to move to New York City where he is attending college. To be honest he was just getting bored of France, and really wanted to leave and see what American had to offer. He'd never been there before, so he figured college would be the perfect opportunity to go there. So he picked out a college, paid the extra money for a dorm, and now he's been in America for a few months and he completely loves it.
Music has always been really big in his life, and he is currently studying to become a high school music teacher. He isn't so sure about that, though, and would much rather just become a famous musician. Only probably is he likes singing in French much better than English and America isn't really all that interested in French singing. Some days are better than others, but college life is pretty damn good.

Sometimes he feels bad about the things he says to people, like the lies he tells, but he really can't help himself. Part of the reason why he parties so hard is because it helps him to not remember all the feelings he hurts and people he makes cry.

backstory Pinocchio is the main character in Pinocchio. He is a magical puppet created by his 'father' who wishes to become a real boy. In order to become one he must show that he is a truthful, brave, and all around awesome little guy. Pinocchio, however, has a serious problem with lying. When he lies his nose grows, but that doesn't stop him from doing it. Eventually, when his father is in danger of dying, Pinocchio puts all the lies aside and risks his life to save him. After that selfless act Pinocchio gets his wish of becoming a real boy.
