...personal*
personality If you asked a person about Riley, the description you would get would depend heavily on your experience with him. If you asked his mother she'd tell you about a talented and wily little charmer who loved the finer things in life. If you talked to a girl he was wooing, or who had the misfortune of being enamored with Rye, would tell you about a sweet gentleman who always knows what to say to make you feel special. Those who have had their hearts broken by Riley talk about how he's a psycho, a drunk, whose jealous, possessive, and a cheater.
In truth, he's all these things. He could charm a rabbit into hopping into a rattlesnakes mouth if he had the fancy. Riley is vain, with a mean spirit, but is capable of showing some romantic gestures that would put Lancelot to shame. His true temper is shown most when he drinks, which is often, and it isn't uncommon for him to try and get a hold of something stronger.
past Riley Alexander was a product of a month of passion between a wealthy (and quite married) wall street adviser and a ballerina. The moment Sean Bateman found out that his affair had produced a child, and worst yet the mother planned to keep it, he instantly went into damaged control moment. And the moment Anastasia Alexander found out, she knew her career as a ballerina was over (this was not necessarily true, but she had decided it so) and that if Sean did not plan to leave his high society, but still childless, wife that he needed to compensate. Or suffer the consequences.
Riley would never find out exactly how much his mother received, but the A. Alexander Ballet Company of Hollywood was funded by this. He and his mother were set for life, and Anastasia doted on her son like she never could to Sean (whom she hated to admit she loved). Riley was denied nothing. For his sixteenth birthday, for example, his mother bought him a Harley. Since he was young, Riley grew up around Ballet, his mother being one of the most prominent members of the ballet community.
With his Mother's prominence he saw much of the world, especially Russia, France, and Italy where ballet is most popular. Often he would go to these events as his Mother's date, and those who were not on intimate terms with Anastasia Alexander were under the impression that she was quite the cougar. This could be due to her overly affectionate nature, which at times bordered on inappropriate.
present After Riley graduated, he traveled Europe alone; much to the dismay of his Mother. This soon bored the adventurous young man, until he met Michele Ducard. He was a french, hedonist, coke head with a flat in Amsterdam. Riley and he became quite close, partaking in all the possible delights in the sordid Red Light district. But again Riley grew restless, and decided to return to the states. His Mother's tears of welcome were warming to Riley, but it only took three days before he decided he needed to find direction.
And so he decided New York was the place to be. A seasoned Ballet Dancer, he decided to make bank on this, and to quietly survey his Father who had been absent save a monthly check. And so he got the most expensive apartment that suited him, rode his Harley cross country, and began to set up shop.

book title Great Expectations.
backstory Bentley Drummle is a coarse, unintelligent young man whose only saving graces are that he is to succeed to a title and his family is wealthy. Pip meets him at Mr. Pocket's house (where they are being schooled), as Drummle is also to be trained in gentlemanly skills. Drummle is hostile to Pip and everyone else. He is a rival to Pip for Estella's attentions and marries her. It is said he ill-treats Estella. Drummle would later be mentioned to have died from an accident following his mistreatment of a horse. "The Spider" is a nickname for him.

rp sample Boredom. It was the most evil of evils. Even with the naked ballerina, her name starting either with a K or a C he wasn't sure which, twisted in his blankets and sleeping off the smirnoff she had consumed, he found himself utterly bored. It was quite a tragedy, as he had only been home for three days. His mother had been so happy she used his return from Europe as an excuse to throw one of her infamous dinner parties with the most sordid of the creme de la creme of society. He endured dinner like a good son, watching the drunk fools smile through their teeth. Fakes. Phonies.
Feeling his drunken state slip away from him, Riley Alexander put on his pants and headed down stairs to raid the ever impressive liquor cabinet. The young Mr. Alexander was frustrated with his own boredom, and as he downed his shot of whiskey, he pondered why had the new location not appeased him. The answer did seem most obvious: this was not new. There was no adventure to be had in California, both legal and illegal, that Riley had not partaken in save for needles. He hated needles. So what was he to do?
Moving seemed inevitable, though his Mother would be displeased. But where? Seattle, too gray. Las Vegas, been there seen that. Chicago, boooooring. His deep blue eyes wandered over to the refrigerator, eying his mothers tacky magnets. They lingered on one featuring the statue of liberty, and a smile crossed his face. Perfect! A change of location was necessary, and he would do just that. The west coast Californian, with a chip on his shoulder and a drink in his hand, would explore both the high society and the dark underbelly of New York City.
