Kennedy flipped out her hair, letting it tickle the nose of the guy whose hips were swaying in tune with her's. The music was thrilling, her heart was beating faster then she could remember.
But she still hated bars.
Feeling whoosy from all of the blasting music, flashing lights, and dancing, Kennedy pushed away her guy and walked over to one of the many stools. She just needed a breather. Her eyes closed, letting her block out everything. Her heart beat slowed...
Now that wasn't what she came here for. Grabbing a shot from a waiter wading through, she pulled down her tight black dress from showing any booty and set off to find a man. But first....the swung her head back as she drank down the shot. Kennedy let the hands place themselves on her hips again as they danced to the music. They turned her around, and she found herself looking into the eyes of a man.
Kennedy's stomach dropped. Something was wrong...in his eyes. Her lungs tightened up, and she struggled against his grip as he pulled her tighter, breathing into her hair. His laugh was smuggling her as she tried to break free.
"No," Kennedy hissed quickly, pushing her hands up against his chest and kneeing him hard in the shin. She felt weak. She felt helpess. She was angry. She was...terrified. "Let me go." They guy did the opposite, his laugh getting louder. This was not the excitement Kennedy had wanted. Her breath was getting faster and her eyes struggling to find any hole to slip through.

( WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE DIM AND YOUR HEART )IS RACING AS YOUR FINGERS T.O.U.C.H HIS S.K.I.NI'VE GOT MORE WIT A BETTER KISS A HOTTER TOUCH A BETTER FUCK ♥[ THAN ANY BOY YOU'LL EVER MEET, SWEETIE YOU HAD ME ] It was a Saturday night and Kadence King loved doing nothing more on such wonderful nights than living it up in the big city. Always craving an adventure or doing something that involved a little risk, he often found himself wandering the streets of the City that never slept for the next big rush of adrenaline. And tonight, he and a few of his buddies from the Baum Academy Football team had all decided to get absolutely wasted at the Down the Rabbit Hole night club.
The music had been loud and whiskey kept pouring like water as the seventeen year old quarterback found himself laughing with his team mates or out on the dance floor with a few of the scandalously dressed girls out in the middle of the club. The night had been going great until some punk dancing next to him with a blond haired girl bumped into him on the dance floor, making him spill his drink on the lovely brunette who had accompanied him. "I'm sorry." he started to apologize but the girl only glared at him before disappearing in a huff.
Annoyed that his night had been interrupted and a little buzzed, Kade turned to face the couple who had bumped into him. "Let me go." His ears twitched a little as he caught sight of the blond haired girl who seemed no older than he was. She seemed sort of familiar but the moment, Kade couldn't put his finger on it. What he did realize was that the girl seemed to be struggling to break free of the guy's grasp and he just laughed at her. Kade rolled up his sleeves to reveal the well toned muscles in his arms before he approached the guy and put a firm hand on his shoulder. "Hey buddy. I believe the lady told you to let her go." he yelled over the loud music.

The man had leaned down and was just about to kiss her neck when he flipped up his gaze off of Kennedy and onto another voice.
"Hey buddy. I believe the lady told you to let her go."
Lady. Kennedy almost scowled at that. Her father's friends called her a lady. But she didn't have time to be all angsty. The man had switched his position, pulling her into him so that their hips were touching, his arms resting and meeting in the small of her back, holding her there. Again, Kennedy pushed against his chest, struggling. His response was to take her hands and put them behind his back, keeping them there.
She growled, and turned her attentiont to her savior.
Kennedy noticed a few things all at once. He was dark, but under the range in her meter. He was muscular. And she knew him. Also, he was - hopefully - gonna kick this guy's ass. She felt totally useless all over again, the waves of shaming pummeling her face and making her blush like she hadn't done since she was a little girl.
"Let me go," She cried one more time, trying again to kick him. He laughed again, ignoring her.
"What are you gonna do, junior? Huh? She your girl?" The man breathed. Kennedy gagged at the amount of alcohol mixed in with his air. The man pulled her a bit tighter. "She ain't been too faithful." He was roaring now, clearly enjoying himself.
Kennedy's face burned scarlet, this time with anger. She forced out the one word she'd been avoiding. "Help," Her whole body was shuddering. Her words were quiet, but this other guy would help. She prayed he would.

He had hoped it wouldn't resort to this but the guy clearly wasn't going to let her go. It was obvious the guy was drunk too but that didn't mean jack squat to Kade. It was no excuse to act like an asshole. His green hazel eyes fell on the girl who was visibly shuddering.
She seemed so helpless and...A sudden realization hit Kadence as he got a clear look at her face. Now he knew why she seemed so familiar. Kennedy Washington. Kade didn't know her personally but she was a girl who attended Baum Academy and was senior like he was. He also knew her to be the beloved daughter of a diplomat who he saw on TV all the time.
And Kade for the life of him had no idea what the hell she was doing in a place like this and dressed like that. "What are you gonna do, junior? Huh? She your girl? She ain't been too faithful." Kade only smirked when the other guy burst out laughing. "No I don't suppose she has." Kade simply replied before he joined in with the guy's laughing, even going so far as to slap the guy on the back. He turned as if he was leaving when he suddenly turned back around with a clenched fist aimed for the guy's face.

Kennedy watched the boy closely. He seemed so firmiliar, and she felt so sick. Her visions was blurring, every part of her felt disgusting. She was totally numb, except for the tingles which were running up and down her body.
She watched his face as realization hit him. Kennedy cringed at that. She saw his expression change, his easy laguh, his pat on the shoulder. And the words that rang through her like someone had just slapped her.
"No I don't suppose she has."
And Kade turned around. Kade! The football player. She noticed now all of the team was here. She really did have horrible luck-
Crunch.
Kade had whipped around, throwing a punch so fast she only knew he had done it because of the air rushing past her face, and the hands slipping away from her waist as her captor fell so easily down. Kennedy could still feel the breaths of his hands. People had dragged the man off to some chair, leaving him to bleed out of his nose. He was totally incapable of coming back.
She took one shaky inhale, and then collaped onto her knees in the sea of thrashing bodies. There was a small circle around her and Kade, enough room for her to chake incontrollably. Enough room to leave her feeling naked and trashy. Slowdly, Kennedy stood up, her arms crossed tightly over her, shaking like she had a chill. With one hand, she wiped her eyes, barely noticing the black smudged her mascara had stained onto her finger.
"Th-thanks," Kennedy mumbled, conjuring all of her strength to look him in the eyes. She was a slut, and he knew it. Why had she come here? He would tell probably, but she felt so...close to him. She didn't even stop herself as her head touched his shoulder. She just leaned into him.
Kade had saved her.

"Mother fu-" the seventeen year old started has he shook out his hand after having made an impact. It had hurt like hell and his knuckles were red but thankfully nothing was broken which was more than he could say for the other guy. He could only smirk though as they dragged the guy's unconscious body away before he turned to face Kennedy, prepared to pounce on her and ask her if she was quite possibly that stupid to be in a place like this.
"And just what the hell do you-" His words were cut off however when he felt her leaning against him, her head on his shoulder after having muttered a weak 'Thanks'. His hands automatically went up to hold onto her shoulders as he tried to keep her steady. She was shivering so much though that it started to worry him. Was she drunk too? "Come on, I gotta get you outta here." he said sternly without even bothering to ask her. There was just no time, she clearly wasn't okay. Still holding onto her shoulders, Kade lead Kennedy through the club, his free arm shoving people aside so they can get through till they were both suddenly outside of the club in the cool night air where the music wasn't as loud.
He then stood her up against the wall of the side of the club, still holding onto her shoulder to keep her from falling. "Hey." he said before he placed a hand under her chin so she could look directly into her eyes. "I don't what the hell you're doing here if it's stupidity or something, but you can't stay so I'm going to call you a cab to the hospital okay? Just to make sure you're alright." Though he was a little worried about her his voice held nothing but a tone of firmness. "Come on, I gotta get you outta here."
Kennedy had heard him say something before that, but that was the one thing she actually heard. She allowed him to lead her out of the club, her eyes remaining on his tight face the whole time. She couldn't tell if he was angry or disappointed.
But she could hear the chorus of Kade! in her head, as she cheered for her hero silently.
Once they were outside, Kade took her face in his hand. She recoiled at his touch, at first, avoiding his eyes. Kennedy felt chagrined about it, so she met his eyes. She could feel full force in her stomach, as if it was leaning away from him because she wouldn't.
"I don't what the hell you're doing here if it's stupidity or something, but you can't stay so I'm going to call you a cab to the hospital okay? Just to make sure you're alright."
Kennedy's whole body jerked when she heard that, and she tore his hand away from her face, fear propelling her every nerve. "No!" She yelled at first, then shook her head, resuming her stance of crossed arms and avoiding his gaze. She felt like she was melting under it. "You - I...I can't go to the hospital. Like you said, I'm drunk. No one can no I was here." She met his eyes now with a striking anger. "No one."
Kennedy sniffed and wiped her eyes again. Her voice was very small this time. "C-could you just take me to the dorms. I can't go home." She shook her head. "No, I'll just get a taxi. I'm sorry I interrupted your night, you can go now if you like. Thank you so much, but I really can't go to the hospital." Still shivering, she waited for Kade to shrug his shoulders and go back into the club. It would be better that way, but part of her was screaming for him to stay. Kennedy titled her head and looked him in the eye one last time, her gut still reeling away from him. "Thank you."

Well if she was so sure that she didn't want to, then he supposed she would be okay. Still, his worried expression never faded. What was so bad about the hospital that she didn't want to go there? Was it because it would stain her perfectly whitened reputation, or rather her father's?
How would it look in the public's eyes if Kennedy Washington, the beloved daughter of a well known diplomat, was out in a skimpy dress drinking all night? Kade personally couldn't understand it. Of course his reputation was for doing all the things Kennedy wasn't expected to do. So in a way he felt that he could understand where she came from a little and decided it was probably best to take her home himself. He didn't exactly trust her with the cab drivers of New York city, especially not the guys who drove at night. Not with her stature and condition.
They were both headed in the same direction anyway but Kade was far from ready to call it a night. Sighing, he slipped out of his black leather jacket and draped it over her shoulders before he placed a firm hand on her back and started to lead her toward the parking lot. "Alright home it is. My car is this way." he stated before he stuck his free hand into the pocket of his jeans and fished out his car keys. Once in the parkinglot, he led her around a the hood of a parked black and white striped 2011 Chevy Camaro. He let her go for a moment as he unlocked his car before he opened the passenger door for her to get in.

Kennedy still felt disgusting as Kade's puzzled eyes looked her over. She must seem like a crazed whore. Well, wasn't she? She sighed, looking down at her fingers.
She nearly jumped as Kade placed something around her shoulders and then propelled her foward with one hand. His touch sent tingles head to toe for her.
"Alright home it is. My car is this way."
Kennedy blinked a few times but walked with him as they went to the parking lot. Kade was nothing like his reputation. He was sweet. Like, really sweet. She'd only heard of him as an occassionally rough jerk-football player. And that was a slight thing. The girl had clearly had her heart curshed who was talking about him. She was seeing him in a new light, especially when they reached his car.
She stopped herself from letting out a long, low whistle.
When he let go of her, Kennedy slipped her hands into his jacket, burrowing deep inside of it. She also had a weird urge to run. Something told her don't get in. She was going to ignore that. Kade had saved her, and now was giving her a ride home. She should do everything but not trust him.
Kennedy couldn't stop her amazed looks at him as she scooched into his car. Everything that just happened seemed like a blur, and she pressed a hand against her stomach as it released a gurgle. Would it be too much to ask Kade to go to some ratty diner with her?
Rubbing her left temple, Kennedy contimplated it. He probably didn't want to do anything with her anyway. Tonight was some hell of an adventure.
The weird thing is, Kennedy wanted more.

He stuck his keys into the ignition and the car roared to life, it's powerful engine purring as he rolled down his window as well as her's. "If you're going to throw up, please don't do it in here." he stated to her before he adjusted his rear view mirror and started to pull out of the parking lot. He didn't mean to sound like an jerk or anything, but cleaning up throw up wasn't exactly fun for anyone. Besides, Kade loved his car, it was the only thing he could rely on in his life.
As the car started down the street, Kade could hear Kennedy's stomach growling and when he pulled to a stop at a red light, his green hazel eyes flickered over to her. "Hungry?" he asked with a small smirk. "Didn't anyone ever tell you that you should eat before having a large consumption of alcohol?" he asked. Of course he realized who he was talking to. He had expected someone like Kennedy Washington to be a fairly sheltered type of girl who wouldn't know anything about alcohol and wild parties so when he spotted her in the club drunk, it shocked him quite a bit. He was still in awe to be honest. He contemplated taking her to the small diner just a few blocks down from where they were. He felt it would be a little awkward though to actually sit with the girl and just stare at her while she ate.
What would they even talk about? He wasn't into politics and he doubted that she knew much about football. There was no common ground between them, they did come from very different backgrounds after all, so what would be the point? His own stomach started to growl to his surprise. When was the last time he had eaten? The light turned green and Kade returned his attention to the road, deciding that he could use a meal too. Sure it'd feel awkward to sit there in total silence but he'd get through it somehow. After that though, he was definitely taking her home.

Kennedy watched him as he rounded the car and got in. She watched him as he started it up, and she couldn't stop watching him.
"If you're going to throw up, please don't do it in here."
Kennedy made a face at that. "No...I don't think I'm a sick drunk." She flipped her hair out of the jacket. It also hid her smile. "I don't feel sick at all." She thought about pretending to gag, but decided against it. He would probably kick her out of the car, from the way he was eyeing her.
"Hungry?"
She scowled that he had heard that. When he smirked, she felt like punching him.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you that you should eat before having a large consumption of alcohol?"
Kennedy did laugh this time, letting the stress roll off with it. It felt good to laugh, like really laugh. She rolled her eyes. "The alcohol gets less inside of your blood if your food absorbs it and blah blah blah. Yeah, I've heard it all before. I only had a few cups of vodka...or something." She rambled off. As if to argue with her statement, Kennedy hiccuped. She put up a hand. "Don't judge me. Well...do. That was one bad ass idea."
She remembered he had asked her if she was hungry as Kade's stomach growled too. "Hungry?" She snided, matching his smirk. The smile faded quickly. "Could...um, we stop to eat?" She gave him an excited eye-look as she bit her lip to hide her smile. "My treat?" Kennedy seemed to have lost all of her sense tonight, and her manners. But Kade was...Kade. They were totally opposites, but she trusted him totally.
Well, almost.

He just didn't want anything to damage his car and stomach acid from her throw up could corrode a car to beyond repair. He didn't exactly have the cash to fix it either with his low paying job at the convenient store up town. The boy smirked as she laughed. Laughing was a good thing, because at least he was humoring her. At least he hoped he was seeing as she was drunk and drunk people found everything to be funny. She seemed mostly sober though.
"Well Miss Washington, you continue to surprise me." he said as they neared the twenty four hour diner and he pulled into the parking lot and proceeded to park. The lot was mostly empty given the time of night it was so Kade had no problems getting in. He turned the ignition off and pocketed his keys before he inclined his head almost curiously at her. "I'm not judging you, I'm only making assumptions. It's what normal people do." he stated sternly for a second. After a while though he smirked at her again before he opened the car door and got out, closing it behind him. "No need to get defensive. I'm just looking out for my baby"
Kennedy smiled at that without any teeth. This was a pretty amazing car. Not that she would ever get one. She wasn't the car type, especially in NYC. If she did get a car, it wouldn't be so...flashy. Guys with cool cars are compensating. She did smile toothily this time.
"Well Miss Washington, you continue to surprise me."
As they pulled into the parking lot, Kennedy's smile slipped. Miss Washington. She had to check to make sure she wasn't scowling. Her dad's friends called her that, like she was only defined with her father's name. But she's had practice with not letting her emotions show with important people. Besides...Kade meant it in a joking way. No one really joked with her.
And then Kennedy was laughing again. Judging and assumptions weren't the same thing? Since when? "I'm not with you on that at all." She chirped, huddling deeper into his jacket and leaving the car. She followed him into the diner.
When they got in, Kennedy made sure they were in a booth and sat down in the farther seat, opening up the menu. "Have you ever been here?" She added the Kade after that silently. She wasn't sure if the were at the specifically calling them by their name thing yet. It was too...personal? She couldn't describe it. He saved her, she owed him so much.

Once they were both inside, he followed her lead to a booth where he took a seat across from her. He picked up his own menu before he flipped through it idly though he already had a pretty good idea in mind about what he wanted. "Have you ever been here?" At this question, Kade could only shrug his shoulders lightly without looking up at her.
"Once or twice." he replied as he fingered through the drinks section. None of it was alcoholic not that Kennedy needed any more drinks pumped into her. He shouldn't be drinking either seeing as he was the one who had to drive them both home. But god dammit he really wanted a beer. Green hazel eyes glanced up as he waved a to a waitress and she approached their table. "I'll have the double cheese burger with a combination of fries and onion rings, extra ketchup, extra special sauce, and a large double chocolate milkshake. And don't be skimpy with the hot sauce toots." he stated before he winked at her as he handed her the menu. Kennedy's eyes narrowed as Kade avoided her question. They narrowed deeper as he barked out an order, then, as if to add to it all, winked at the waitress and added toots to the end.
As the waitress turned to Kennedy, she noticed the woman's eyes narrow too. So Kade's charm wasn't only for her then? "I'd like the chicken ceaser salad, with no cheese, toots." She added her own exxagerated wink onto the end. The waitress collected Kennedy's menu and left to put in their orders, adding a bit of extra swagger in her step. Kennedy almost gagged.
She turned to Kade, head titled and eyes narrowed again. "A few times, huh?" She stated, then found her straw with her tongue and sipped her water. "How much would you bet that the waitress will be back within five minutes to check on us. Oh no, excuse me. To check out you." Kennedy let the sly smile slide onto her face.
One thing people should never do: Bet against Kennedy Washington. She followed her hunches...most of the time, and most of the time her hunches were right.
