personality Krystal isn't quite as much of a tattle tale as her sister, though she definitely feeds the flame. Krystal was typically the cohort, the henchman, the 'wingman,' and she was freaking good at it. She's not quite as devious as her older sister either, not that it's a bad thing. Krystal's more the type to do the dirty work. She does whatever she puts her mind to, and she's not often one to take 'no' for an answer.
She works hard for everything she wants and thinks is important, like her sister, and her sports. Oh, those sports. Krystal is naturally athletic, but still, she'd be more than willing to work her butt off to get things done. Not only that, but she's stubborn, so she won't accept that some things may not get done. In her mind, everything should be done, or all of it was a waste.
Krystal is thorough too- she won't ever leave any option untested. If she has a choice between two different kinds of food, she'll weigh the pros and cons of each. In a way, she's the more grounded of the two 'twins' as people call them sometimes, but it definitely works out. Christie makes plans, Krystal seems them through. They're a perfect pair for trouble making.
Krystal is definitely friendlier than her sister, and slightly more social, though she's pretty mum about it when she's with Christie. When on her own, Krystal is friendly enough, and she can have normal conversations with people, though they might not be as sincere as they probably could be.
past Krystal was born the younger sister of Christie, and as long as she could remember, the two had been attached at the hip. They never had many friends, preferring to spend time with each other, though Krystal had definitely been more social than her older sister who seemed quite intent to protect her from the world. They spent all of their time together, ignoring the nannies while their dad was away for the Navy. They caused trouble, played, swam, and did pretty much everything together.
In school, while Christie gained a passion for gymnastics, Krystal started going for runs, playing volleyball, and playing soccer. She'd go running every day on the beach to train for cross country, and she'd play volleyball on the beach too. Soccer doesn't work as well to practice on the beach- the sand messes up the kicks, but that's beside the point. Along with that though, Krystal got into art with Christie. Krystal preferred the sculpting aspect of it while Christie liked watercolors more, but still, art was art, and it was something they could do together.
Krystal was only nine when her father died, and it devastated both her and her sister. It wasn't even supposed to be dangerous! Just a small, week long excursion. But the hurricane had hit, and then their daddy never came home. It was horrible, since both girls were such 'daddy's girls.' If their father wanted them to do something, they'd do it.
Then, they were packed up and stuck in a city, which sucked. There was no more surfing, no more beach running, no more beach, no more sky unless you looked straight up(or went to the top of one of the ridiculously tall buildings), no more normal life. Krystal and Christie were stuck in an apartment with their mom, and while it wasn't like they hated their mom, it just wasn't the same. Granted, there was rain, which was nice- it was fun to go running in the rain, but still, it just... Wasn't right.
present Krystal and Christie are causing all kinds of ruckus at school, between their dominating in the art classes and being surprisingly good friends with Miss Shaw who normally hated teenagers, and their being a source of many rumors. Miss Shaw seemed to encourage the latter too, since she understood completely the girls' need to share these things. She really just, understood the girls really well, it was interesting, though Christie seemed a little more attached to Miss Shaw than Krystal found herself to be.
Krystal had gotten a job at the MAWF with Christie, and much to her surprise, she actually really enjoyed it. She like to make the kids smile at the expense of some other people, since those people really didn't care at all. It was all a big trade that she got to help negotiate, and it ended with smiles all around, even though one end was almost always slighted from a business stand point. And come on, the kids at the cancer treatment places? How can someone not want to help those poor kids? It was so sad.
Krystal spends all the rest of her time, when not working, doing schoolwork, or plotting with Christie, doing sports related things, whether it be going for a run to maintain her endurance, or practicing her Volleyball or soccer passes. Whatever worked. Just as long as Krystal was doing something. She always tries to keep herself busy in some way, shape, or form.
