personality To call Kenny angry is an understatement. Boy has a temper, and boy will he let you know it. And he's not one of those passive aggressive pusses, no Sir. He is one of those punch first, ask questions later types. Kenny is has an issue with trust, especially with women, and hates whining. He has great difficulty seeing other perspectives besides his own, and can be an unyielding ass when it comes right down too it.
With his quick temper comes competitiveness. Surprisingly, he is not a gloating winner, but he is indeed a sore loser. He is impatient, especially with himself. When it comes to reading, which he has great difficulty with, Kenny lashes out. This more has to do with a great frustration he has with himself, which he takes out on others.
But on a lighter note, you would be hard pressed to find someone as loyal as he. He has some secret sensitive spots, such as children and dogs. While he likes women, he does not trust them, and most definitely does not know what to say to them.
past Kenny is a collage of the most stereo typically angry breeds out there: Irish, Italian, and Russian. He is the youngest of five boys, not including the children of his Father's affairs, and grew up in a two bed room apartment in Hells Kitchen. His Father worked long hours at a local Mechanic's Shop, where various woman to visit. His Mother worked from home, where various gentlemen came to visit. The Hodge boys became professional secret keepers, the old motto 'Snitches get Stitches' flashing through their mind almost constantly.
His brother's were William, James, David and Danial (twins), and Simon. The Hodge boys were constantly in trouble, but always looked out for themselves, even the twins. William was expelled when Kenneth was nine, David constantly ran away, Simon went to Juvie for car theft at the age of sixteen (Kenny was 15), James died of an overdose, so on, so forth. While his parents were (legally) legit, their sons experimented with all sorts of illegal activities. Kenneth was no angel, but he managed to stay out of the grasp of the law.
He managed to stay out of trouble, mostly because he took up boxing at the local Gym. When he was 16 he dropped out of High School and got his GED, while working at his Fathers shop. There he met Lily Owens, a sweet little blond. Lily was dainty, but could hold her own. She worked through Kenneth's hard shell and the two eventually became friends, then boyfriend/girlfriend. Kenny believed there was no girl more perfect in the world.
So much so, in fact, when she died at scene at a car accident, he would begin to compare all girls to him from that point on.
present In an attempt to better himself from his family, not to mention distance, Kenny left Hells Kitchen and began attending J. Barrie University last year. He is still completely unsure of what to study, but figures it will come to him eventually.
