"I don't know how you managed it, but you got me to fall in love with you. Which is saying something, for a guy who doesn't really date." Rose grinned, a little victorious, despite the fact that it had not been her intention in anyway. Still, it made her feel like an explorer of sorts. She was in uncharted waters. She reached to explore some more, when he continued to speech. "Considering that we've made it this far, and I've met your family and all, maybe I should invite some people to come meet you. Antonio, Andrés and Cecil would like you a lot, I'm sure. Any girl who knows cars has Antonio's heart for sure. Of course, I don't think I'd let him near you then." Rose chuckled with him, albeit a bit more nervously. Uh oh. Family. Or at least friends who might as well be family. She tensed easily, though she tried to remain calm. "But I've got some cousins of my own also. Not a ton of family when you're short a mom, you know?"
"Well. Um. Hm." She said, a little startled, trying to come to a more put together thought. Rose didn't want to say no, though this prospect terrified her. It would be nice to know who she was dating when she was not at the forefront of his mind. She could even maybe wriggle a few stories out of Guillermo's mates, to match the 'cute' ones Seth had told Guillermo. This was a good time to level that playing field. Still... Rose was terrible with first impressions. Mostly with girls, but the only reason the boy ones seemed to go well was because they were under the impression that she was flirting with them. And Rose in no way wanted to construed such an idea to one or any of Guillermo's friends. "Well, that's not really fair." She said gently, kissing Guillermo's jaw. "When you met my lot, it was under the guise of you being my friend. There was no pressure. But you want me to meet your friends as you girlfriend." She kissed his lips, putting a pout back on to her lips. "Mucho pressure. What if they don't like me?"
Rose brushed his hair out of his eyes, watching him nervously. Behind her, in the direction of the television, she head a deep and pronounce sneer that should not be in the movie. Rose jumped, as shit went down in the movie, to see Bruja as she hung her head off from the edge of the bed. It was lucky, the timing of the movie, as it would give her something to blame for the jumpiness. "You're friends like him so well, my Dear, because he is likable. And you. Well... are you."
Rose frowned, almost scowling at Brjua, in her stupid sleek black business suit. Everything had been going fine, and then she had to show up. She was the Imaginary Friend from hell. Rose looked back at Guillermo, a bright, stubborn, smile on her face. "But you know what? What the hell. I'd like to meet them. Go ahead and invite them-"
"-Yes! Nothing suits little miss Rose more than serving hor d'erves and playing wifey-"
"-I'm sure they're great." Rose said, seeming to ignore Bruja completely.
This did not suit Bruja, who scowled deeply, sitting on top the television set weightlessly. "The changing is already beginning Rosie. You can't allow it, no matter how... yummy he is..." Rose ignored the tone Bruja took, which went from disdainful to highly aware of a certain truth. It prickled the jealous Rose increasingly, that this creature was eyeballing Guillermo. Even if she wasn't real, but a formation Rose's jacked up subconscious or something.
To prove a silent point, Rose pushed Guillermo on his back, pouncing on him impatiently, kissing him deeply. Her eyes looked up at a severe looking Bruja, making her message clear.
Mine.
