And not even that, she goes ignored by most all of her classmates. She is pretty smart and a rather good artist, though not near the best in any of these areas. Her kindness might be one distinctive trait, but she never compliments herself anyways.

Micah has always lived in a shadow, she hates taking risks or being in the spotlight at any time for any reason. She will do almost anything when asked to, and is easily taken advantage of because of her fear of confrontation. She will hardly ever stand up for herself, though she will defend a friend if they are in need of assistance. She likes to be quiet and concentrate on her artwork, and hates loud noises. She will hide during thunderstorms or if there is a fight at her school and rarely eats in the loud cafeteria. Sometimes her fear gets to the point of being crippling and she will have panic attacks, and often doesn't eat much anyways because these attacks also tend to make her nauseous.

Micah is actually a rather talented person, with musical and artistic skills. She's a rather good singer and guitarist, a better writer, and a much better artist than anything else. She loves art, and draws mostly backgrounds, scenes, or places. She can draw people as well, though not as well as her scenes, and mostly does watercolor or charcoal art, sometimes pastels as well. She's rather talented musically, though she doesn't actually take much notice of this. She writes songs when she's feeling depressed or sings along with things but doesn't think she's really all that good at it, as is her attitude with almost everything else.

Micah has always done well academically, excelling without the acknowledgement of her parents, though these days it's nothing but pressure pressure pressure to be better. Though her specialty is reading she enjoys science and history, math being the only subject she disliked, though she still strived good grades, if only for recognition. But we'll get to that soon enough.
past
On a sunny Tuesday afternoon in June, in the family hospital, the cutest little baby girl the doctors had seen was born to Lois and James Elric. This was not Micah, but rather her elder sister, Bianca. She was the healthiest baby, and the happiest along with being pretty. She quickly developed the brilliant gold curls and had the green eyes of her mother, and as she grew it became apparent that she was a fast learner, already able to count to high numbers and spell long words at the age of two.
Micah was born three years after her sister, though the couple was already infatuated as could be with their first little bundle of joy. However, their attention was drawn as much as it could be to the sickly baby named Micah after her grandfather, Michael. Her blonde curls weren't a surprise, and not nearly as thick or golden as her sister. The brown eyes were dulled by sickness. When she got better, the parents attention automatically shifted back to the older child.
Micah was never as smart or as pretty as her older sister all through growing up, her looks and intelligence gaining recognition in the small town. As the song says, "Everyone Dies Famous In A Small Town." Micah would be identified with her sister no matter where she went. She always saw disappointment in their eyes, they wanted her to be as good as Bianca. Try as she may, she could never live up to it. She studied day and night, when she got to the point where always being associated with her sister became a burden. She wanted to live her own life! And so, stubbornly, she'd refuse to go out if her sister would be there, instead working on other things that Bianca didn't have time for. She found that she was quite a good artist, and actually had a pretty good voice. A few weeks after she'd decided to pursue the arts, rejecting the idea of being like her sister, finally deciding to be her own person, her father and Bianca died in a car crash.
Micah had always been a rather quiet and timid person, but many people saw this as the last straw for poor little Micah. She was eleven at the time, and for two years she hardly said a word to anyone. The occasional yes or no, though she would wake up her family by singing and sobbing in the middle of the night. All day she worked on her art and she skipped school. Her mother registered her for home schooling, but Micah locked her door and simply taught herself. Then Lois decided it was too much. She decided to more to New York.

Micah has been living in New York for three years now, and thanks to a psychiatrist she's not as afraid of people, and will talk comfortably with friends, though she still takes a while to open up to someone except for those few she takes an almost instant liking to. She's a sophomore at Baum and still not quite used to living away from home, but thought she owed it to Patrick and her mother, especially with Jackie in the picture.
She's a member of the art club though she does not yet have many friends in there, and though she has confidence in her art, there's not much else she has. She still isn't quite over the deaths, and can easily sink into a depression during which she hides in her dorm or sometimes a janitor's closet, which she finds to be quite empty and useful as there are many things to wipe her eyes on. These places are also useful when she has a panic attack, which can happen whenever she's surrounded by too many people or a particular person gets too close.

backstory Cobweb is one of the miscellaneous faeries... She seriously has three lines, two of which are only one word. She's not a very important character. At all. I promise. Which is why Micah is mostly ignored and hardly anyone even remembers her face, let alone her name or anything else.
Oh, and FYI, the real Cobweb is still going to be kind of ticked about her lack of a part and probably make Micah get herself noticed, much to her host's embarrassment... Funnn =D
