Dear Esteemed New York City Resident,
In honor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's 25th Anniversary, you are cordially invited to the Rosend Ballroom at 29 West 53rd Street to a formal masquerade ball. All ages are welcome, though you must have a valid form of identification to purchase alcohol. Admission is $25 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. We hope that you will join us: it will certainly be a night to remember!

Sound like plottage to you? If so, please feel free to start a thread. We'd like the majority of the threads in this board to be open (though you may certainly run pre-plotted threads if you'd like!). In the title of the thread, please post the number of people that the thread is open for. For example:
"masquerade after party! (3 People)."
Also, please post the location of the thread at the top of the post (threads can occur anywhere in the city, though most should be taking place at the Rosend Ballroom). Any character who starts one of these threads will have a strike dropped. If the character does not have any strikes, that character will have the next strike he or she receives dropped. The same applies to any character who posts in one of these open threads.
We understand that many of you have already plotted threads for the Masquerade, which is great! You are welcome to run pre-plotted threads here, but note that your character will not get a strike dropped for posting in these. You are also welcome to leave a spot open in a pre-plotted thread if you'd still like to drop a strike. For example:
"MASQ PRE PARTY! (Xerxes, Brandon, and 2 others)"
You can choose how long you'd like to wait. If you leave a thread open for 4 posters and only get 3 after two weeks or however much time, you can go ahead and start with no penalty.
