Had Kylie’s grandparents known about her planning to meet up with people she’d met online, they’d take her out of Baum and ground her for life, resorting to home schooling. It wasn’t all bad, though. At least she knew Nathaniel! Plus, Natasha was his sister and so she must be a nice girl too, right? Especially since she’d been so full of compliments! Kylie wasn’t sure if she was more flattered or embarrassed. It wasn’t often that people were so kind to her. It was lovely, though! She didn’t mind at all. Kylie had to take some money from her piggy bank (she would have out of her bank account, but her grandparents would just be overbearing and curious) for her meal at The Fishbowl. She’d checked the menu online and was happy to see that everything was reasonably priced. From there, Kylie had to take a taxi and thank goodness the driver knew where to go. She could never be a taxi driver. They had to know New York City like the back of their hand!
Kylie was excited the moment the car pulled up to the restaurant. It looked cozy and beach-y. The last time she’d been to the beach… well, she couldn’t even remember. Upon entering The Fishbowl, Kylie immediately thought it would be a nice place to work. Before the hostess could seat her, Kylie asked if they were hiring (they were) and if she could have an application (she could). Once the papers were in hand, the hostess took Kylie to a table for three in the middle of the restaurant. The seats were comfortable and the tables were a well-enough size. This place was so very accommodating! Now she just had to wait for her companions. As usual, she expected Nathaniel to be wearing something blue. Kylie was quite sure Natasha had a preference for the color pink. Hopefully, they would be easy to spot or perhaps she would. Then again, they would probably just need to talk to the hostess about meeting somebody else.
Kylie ordered a sweet tea no lemon before leaning back and patiently folding her hands in her lap.

Tasha and Nate were possibly the luckiest fairies in the world...no, the universe. He was sure that Kylie was their Briar Rose. His assumptions built solely around the fact that her eyes were so much like Briar Rose's. *Baby Blue.* He thought to himself as a smile crossed his face. Flora and Fauna were far too close-minded to actually build a deeper relationship with Aurora. They fussed and scolded Merryweather because of the giggling and whispers that Aurora and her exchanged. Maybe, they were jealous? Maybe, Merryweather had become Aurora's favorite?
Nate smiled as he stepped into the Fishbowl taking in all the glorious scents and smiles that filled the space. The hostess greeted him, but he simply asked if a fair skinned blond girl had come, and the hostess happily directed him to Kylie. Thanking the Hostess, Nate watched Kylie for a moment before speaking, "Hi, Bébé Bleu." He smiled as he took his seated and asked for a water with lemon.
"How are you?" He asked as the waiter walked away. He leaned a bit closer to her, just to gaze into her eyes.

Natasha was a bit frazzled, admittedly. Merryweather had been quite set on this young girl Kylie’s eyes, and no one’s eyes could compare to Briar Rose’s. So for Merryweather to be stuck on that fact…this could be something quite important. Tasha lifted her head, and glanced at The Fishbowl. It sounded cute, but it was almost certain to have quite a lot of blue inside. She sucked in a breath, before stepping in. She leaned into the waitress, who directed her to the table. All the while Natasha walked towards Nate and the girl, she felt lightheaded. Blonde hair, and soft looking porcelain skin. Tasha wordlessly slid into the seat next to Nate, her own blue eyes, pale and dull in comparson, were wide. Her fingertips pressed against her lips, just watching Aurora---no, no, Kylie. Kylie for a moment. Tears almost sprung to her eyes, and she cleared her throat, giving a wistful smile. “You must be Kylie,” She said with a nervous tone. Her voice somewhat sounding weak, startled, and off guard. “I’m Natasha.” She said in that same tone. Tasha looked towards the waitress who came to get her drink order, “Just a water, thank you.” She nodded, before looking back at Kylie, and smiled. “I’m sorry, please don’t think I’m strange for staring. You just look very familiar to me.” She explained carefully, before glancing up at Nate. It would be hard to detect, but for someone who knew Flora’s mannerisms and ticks; Merryweather may notice that the corners of Tasha’s lips were twitching, and brims of her eyes looked a bit watery. She was almost certain now, that this girl was their Rose. Notes: Fucking Natasha, man. I seriously was tearing the hell up while I was writing this. True story. Outfit:Thank you Aimee! <3

Kylie hadn’t waited long for Natasha and Nathaniel. She’d begun to browse the menu for something to eat when Nathaniel arrived first. Just about everything looked positively delicious. Well, so long as it didn’t come with a side of veggies. She wouldn’t eat those. Kylie lowered the menu upon hearing Nathaniel greet her, using the nickname she’d had to ask about that day in French class. “Hello Nathaniel,” she said, smiling at him. “I’m doing quite well, thank you! And how are you?” Kylie hardly noticed that he was leaning closer and even if she had, she wouldn’t mind really. She’d been told she didn’t know what personal space was so it wasn’t a big deal if somebody else invaded her space.
Kylie had two ideas on what to order when Natasha arrived next. Kylie looked up from her menu and was startled to see the girl seemed a bit misty-eyed. “Are you alright?” Kylie asked, leaning closer, concerned. She wasn’t sure what could have happened on the way to the restaurant but this was certainly no time to be upset! It was a beautiful day, a lovely restaurant, and a lunch with friends. Kylie leaned back, still rather worried, but feeling better as the seconds went by. It wasn’t like her to stay upset long (unless it was something really important). Kylie smiled gently, “it’s fine! May I ask? Who do I remind you of?”

"I am wonderful." Nate replied happily after taking his seat and ordering his drink. He was stilling leaning a bit towards her, but she didn't seem to care so neither did Nate. Nate felt Flora's presence before he saw her. Nate smiled widely as Flora approached the table, half happy to see his sister and half ready to prove himself right. He nodded towards Flora, and waited for the formalities to be over. Then Flora made the connection, obvious from the look in her eyes and the way she seemed to recognize Kylie as quickly as he did.
Nate quickly spoke for Flora, "She is fine." Nate smiled a bit and handed Flora a menu, but blue letters danced over it and spelt out, 'Our Briar Rose has returned to us.' Nate shook his head a bit and allowed Flora to answer the next question. He had successfully found their missing Rose and Flora couldn't EVER take that away from him. He had finally beat Flora...Finally.
The waitress came to the table and gave them all a questioning look, but shook it off before asking what they would like. Nate ordered first then gestured for Kylie to order next.

Natasha smiled at Kylie, and just gave a slight nod. “I’m quite alright, never been better.” And it was true. There was no doubt in her mind now. It almost felt as though Aurora were screaming out behind those eyes to be found, and used the only way that she knew how. The eyes themselves.
Tasha took the menu, her eyes looking down at the letters floating across her menu. For once, she didn’t seem to mind the blue so much. Tasha leaned forward, looking down at the menu, angling in a certain way for Nate to see it also.
Finally, you’ve done something right. Job well done.
The pink letters read, before glancing up at the waitress when she came around. Oh no, that would not do. That look was dreadful, however avoided the second question, the best she could. “Oh, someone from a long time ago,” We her only reply, her smile lighting up her entire face. She waited for Kylie to make her order, while slipping her hand into her pocket, and without looking, texted Nathaniel.
Does she know about us? Or should we wait Aurora to awaken?
Merryweather may have found Kylie, but Flora didn’t put it past her youngest sister to let Aurora be too free. If Kylie was here, that meant Maleficent could be anywhere. And Maleficent was a mistress of disguise. Now all they needed for their side of the puzzle was Fauna (where the hell was that fairy anyway?!), and Phillip.

Sitting with the two of them brought about a strange sense of déjà vu for Kylie. It was as if she’d known them in a past life or something. Well, she would have if she believed in such a thing. Still, it was nice, this feeling. It made her feel a bit… safe. Nathaniel was wonderful and Natasha had never been better. Kylie wondered briefly why she’d been on the brink of tears if she’d never been better. Then again, there was a point at which she would tear up if she were in such a pleasant mood. It was very possible to cry from being over-excited, for example.
The waitress arrived then and Kylie hurriedly looked back to the menu, realizing she had yet to decide. She wasn’t that hungry and the first one did sound like a good meal. … Yes, her second choice had too much food. “The Caesar salad, please.” She told the waitress before handing the menu back to her. Kylie had the feeling Nathaniel and Natasha were making some unspoken communication but she ignored it, not being one to pry. Curious as she was, it wasn’t her right to ask about something that didn’t concern her. “A long time ago?” Kylie smiled, tilting her head thoughtfully. “I see.” She sipped at her tea before leaning forward, resting her forearms on the table.
“That’s interesting. Because… well,” she paused, a nervous laugh cutting her off. “I was just thinking how I’m getting a feeling of déjà vu.” Kylie tugged on a strand of her hair, only a little embarrassed. She hadn’t really needed to say that. “Being here with you two, I mean.”

Nate noticed Tasha's 'approval' and he internally scoffed. She made it seem as though he was incapable of doing anything correctly. Hell, he had managed to do a lot of things on his own, and somethings Tasha couldn't comprehend because of her 'Flora' minded ways. Nate tried to keep a smile on his face for Kylie, and at this point he was successful. What had Tasha done? Not a damn thing. That's when he felt his phone vibrate and took him out of his distant thoughts about how Tasha was the useless one...not him.
He read the text, not sparing a glance at Tasha or Kylie. He typed his message, but did not immediately send the text. Instead, he causally looked back up, smiling. This conversation had gone a little weird, but Nate shrugged at Kylie's statement. "Well, since we see one another at school and such, Déjà vu could happen," he paused for a moment to figure out his next plan of action, "We can assume that we all knew one another in a past life. And we can only assume that I was still a diva back then." Nate attempted to make light of the sudden heaviness that the conversation was leaning towards.
