Sly: Candace knows her ways with words. She is usually pretty good at tricking people into trusting her, and getting her where she wants to be. How else do you think she got to be the assistant of a rich man? Her slick talking came naturally, and people often compared her to a fox.
Bossy: Telling people what to do is one of Candace’s favorite pastimes. Being in such a high position in a company is perfect for her. She gets to boss the employees around, but she doesn’t have to make all of the big decisions. And that suits her just fine.
Intimidating: Because of her bossy, sly, get what I want nature, people are often intimidated by her. She looks a lot sweeter than she actually is. The friends she has are mostly just her friends because she scares them. Not a lot of people like an assertive, bossy, female.
past
Candace was born in the small city of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her parents had grown up here, and their parents, and theirs before, and so on. Most of her family had grown up and lived in Fort Wayne their entire lives. And Candace wanted out as soon as she was old enough to realize that her family was stuck. She wanted something bigger—something better.
Her mother was one of those overly-clingy, anxious mothers, always keeping Candace from doing anything fun. “Oh no! You’ll get sick!” or “Don’t touch that! It’s dirty!” It drove her nuts, and she did everything to get away from her mother as much as she could. She would often just hide herself in her room, or trick her dad into letting her stay at a friend’s house—when she actually had friends.
As she got older, she did everything she could to rebel. Most of her rebelliousness involved someone of the opposite sex, which really put her mom into a spazz. Her crazy behavior wound up giving her a few pregnancy scares, and a miscarriage. Soon after she lost the baby (right after her graduation), she packed up and left, without a goodbye to anyone. She just left, with a small note telling everyone that she was moving on the bigger and better things, AKA New York City.

Candace is currently working for Rhys as his personal assistant. Many people in the business do not like her because she walked all over them to get as high of a position as she could. And they didn’t like her barking commands at them like she did. But it wasn’t her fault that they fell for everything, and that she moved up the latter faster than them.
Work is a huge part of her life, and it keeps her really busy, but she still manages to find time to go out and find herself some meat, if you know what I mean. Although, Candice is a lot more careful than she used to be. Children were not a part of her life in any picture. Her life, to her, is perfect. She has an amazing job, and isn’t tied down. What could be better than that?

backstory
A little old woman decides to make a gingerbread man, one day. And, when she’s all done cooking him, and places him in the window sill to cool down, he runs away, yelling “Don’t eat me!” She chases him, but cannot catch him. A few more animals chase him, and also fail in catching him.
But the fox, he was smarter than all the other animals. He offers the gingerbread man a ride across the river, promising that he only wants to help. As he’s swimming across the river, he tells the gingerbread man that he’s getting tired, and he should move to his nose. Not a smart move for the gingerbread man when he complies. The fox eats him once they reach the shore.
