personality
Withdrawn: William will come off as cold and mean spirited by people that do not know him. If someone he had never met came up and attempted a conversation, William would smile nervously and mumble. He was never the social child. More of a follower than a leader.
Abrupt (Rude): He speaks his mind when he feels that someone has over stepped their boundaries. He doesn’t fear to tell the person off, even if they have never met. He stands his ground when confronted, and usually blurts out things that are deemed rude.
Daydreamer: William has a tendency to daydream and let his mind wander. This occurs mostly when he is driving or walking, which can be quite hazardous.
Quirky/Goofy: When he finally warms up to someone, then his true personality comes out. No longer does her mumble or smile shyly, but he is loud and slightly obnoxious. He laughs and teases with all of his closest friends and family. Few people have seen this side of him.
past
Life in Houston, Texas was always in a schedule. Wake up. Get Dressed. Go to Work. Come Home. Eat. Shower. Sleep. And repeat. William’s mother and father believed in a structured and well kept household, which meant that the kids worked first, then played second. Work for them as kids consisted of chores around the house and yard and the schoolwork. William took after his father’s looks and withdrawn personality, but his quirky and fun side was definitely from his mother. As the years went by, William became more and more physically stronger, yet more and more socially awkward. His parents knew something was different about William, but they blew it off. They had more things to worry about than William’s lack of friends. William faded to the back of the family as his siblings outshined him.
Around his eighteenth birthday, William did something unexpected. He went to a party that a large group of fellow seniors from his high school were attending. He heard the location through the grapevine and found himself parking his truck in the already packed driveway. As he made his way slowly to the house that buzzed with music, gossip, and scandalous actions of drunken couples, William felt his stomach turn in knots, but he wasn’t going to turn around when his eyes caught sight of some skimpy dressed females giggling and laughing on the way to the house. William quickened his stride until he reached the closed front door. His palms got sweaty and his mouth abnormally dried as he grabbed the door handle and turned the knob. He had entered into a whole new world.
Rumors about the alleged introvert magically become an extrovert after a few drinks spread through the high school. William got a new set of friends, but none of them saw the true William. He wasn’t trying to keep them as friends, but they seemed to gravitate to him. After a few months, he wanted his old life back. The life in which he could eat lunch in peace, or actually make it through the day without someone stopping him and telling him about the big weekend party. He had to feign a sickness, death in the family, or family-only weekend when people calling to hassle him about showing up.
William’s high school life and family life changed when he received an acceptance letter from J. Barrie University in New York. He didn’t recall sending them his information, but he wasn’t passing the opportunity of a full ride or the chance to leave Houston. He packed his bags and took the first flight to New York City.
present
At the old age of twenty-three, William is in his third year of college. He calls his family rarely, but seriously a phone works both ways. He never really misses home, because New Yorkers let him live in solitude without much disturbance. William works at the New York Public Library as a stock boy. He really just helps people find books, then put away the books left scattered around the library. He has occasionally found a book that sparked his interest, which caused him to abandon his work station for a few hours.
He is still living his life in solitude with the occasional night where he gets completely wasted and ends up in the bed of some stranger, most women, but there is the occasional man. Drunken William must be into threesomes, but hell the quiet ones are always the freaks.

backstory
Bingley is a man of few and very mild convictions, whose easiness of temper and want of proper resolution impair his worth in Eliza’s eyes. Bingley lacks Darcy’s pride or self-importance. He values Jane’s beauty and her good nature, which matches his own temperament. He feels free to pursue his interest in Jane only after his two sisters have given their approval, but his ultimate standard of reference is Darcy. He submits to Darcy’s objections about the marriage. It is Darcy’s authority that ultimately determines Bingley’s choice in life, supported by Jane’s physical appearance and pleasant temperament. Even after learning that Darcy had concealed from him the truth about Jane’s presence in London and after Darcy encourages him to revive the relationship with her, Bingley still wants Darcy’s active approval before proposing to Jane. His emotions are completely social.
