personality Emmaline is stubborn, to put it nicely. She's intelligent, and she won't take no for an answer. Well, most of the time, anyways- she does know her place, after all. Still, she isn't afraid to voice her opinion when she believes yours to be wrong.
Emmaline is highly intellectual- she always has her nose buried in a book or whatnot, and she is constantly doing word puzzles, Sudoku, etc. This fuels her needs to voice her opinions, mostly because a lot of people she knows make uneducated decisions. Such things needed to be stopped, in Emma's mind. So, she made it her job to do so.
Despite the fact that she might come across as kind of harsh and analytical, she's really very caring, and is a romantic at heart. She's very loyal to those she cares about, and would do just about anything for them, including putting herself at risk.
past Emmaline was born and raised in London, England, and from the start, she was a smart girl. She started reading and writing earlier than all of the other girls her age, and as such, her mother decided to homeschool her. Emma didn't spend much time on art, mostly the literature and languages, and as such she learned to speak fluent French. She was good at math, and all things pertaining to the subject of English- literature, grammar, etc. None of it was much of a challenge, and she enjoyed it immensely.
Throughout her schooling, her mother tried to get her to learn all sorts of instruments, but Emma never wanted much to do with any of them. Though, only to appease her mother, she learned to play the piano. Poorly, but she learned.
When it was time for her to enter High School, she went to a regular school. She became involved in the Shakespeare class, and the Drama class, and she became a Cross country runner. Hey, all those walks with books when she was younger had to have been for something, right?
She graduated High school, and then packed up her things, heading to the United States to go to college. New York. It was the American version of London, right? Then she would be right at home.
presentEmmaline is currently enrolled in college, Majoring in Literary studies. She wants to be a writer someday, or maybe she would decide to become an English teacher, though she takes into consideration that that would require reading horrid essays with too many grammatical errors to count and what-not.
She acts when she is not in classes, and, were she a musician, she would want to be on Broadway. She still enjoys Broadway shows very much, and she sees them often, but she just doesn't posses the musical talent to actually be a part in a musical. Not a part that would require a lot of singing, anyways.

backstory Elizabeth was one of many daughters, whom her mother was eager to have married. When a young, rich suitor comes to town, the whole family goes to a public ball that he is to attend. The suitor falls in love with Elizabeth’s sister, Jane, and the suitor’s friend, Mr. Darcy, pretends to not like Elizabeth. The two meet on several occasions, and their encounters are less than pleasant, though they remained cordial.
Throughout these encounters, however, Mr. Darcy grows to love Elizabeth, and he tells her so. She tells him that she does not love him back, and she cannot accept his hand. He says this is because of her pride. They separate on unfriendly terms, but then Mr. Darcy does a few unexpected things, and Elizabeth grows to love him back, realizing she actually had loved him all along.
