Spirit Lee hated the mall.
Though that fact would never be apparent on her overly-made-up face. She had some ugly but popular pink color of eyeshadow on, blush, concealer though she didn't need it, the works. Make-up was a trend amongst the intented age group, so. Her curled hair was in a popular side-ponytail and she was dressed in a pink tanktop, really short jean shorts, and flip flops, despite it being a chilly day out. She had been worried about that until she realized how many other girls were dressed the same way she was. Spirit, or "Allie" as she was introducing herself to various store owners, was careful to keep a preppy smile on her face and a happy bounce in every step. Like other teenagers, she was wearing sunglasses inside, simply for style. Though, in all reality, she was searching the crowds for her mark.
It was some businessman who frequented the mall by going twice a week for his lunch hour because he "wanted to get away from the office". But her client had told her he met with someone who was anonymously giving him company secrets from his competitor. Her job was to simply obtain the flashdrive that was being transferred between them.
Child's play.
The only problem was finding him. It seemed that everyone had the same idea to go to the mall during lunch today, which was not helpful in the slightest. The food court was huge and all the tables were full. Wait, there was one empty one, and standing there with her tray of food was not something she wanted to do.
So. Many. People.
She took the table, eyeing the man who had been on his way there to see what he would do. He scoffed and turned away to find a different table, obviously pissed. Well good for you. The man probably though she was just some bratty 16 year old, the age she had made herself look.
Now, for more important matters, like finding her mark. She had ordered a salad and started forking through it, uninterested in food. Spirit had seen a picture of the mark, and knew what he looked like. She never forgot a face. It was just too damn crowded to even begin to search every face, every table.
Well, you had to start somewhere to get anywhere, so she started her motionless search. This was going to be just peachy, or so her facial expression told.
