Delilah really was enjoying this whole "no roommate" thing. For one, she didn't have to worry about someone messing up the living space and them cleanng after said person. And secondly, they had left their xbox, along with a particualary violent game, Grand Theft Auto.
Delilah thought it was the best game in existence.
Laying on her stomach, Delilah was chilling on her bed (now a lot bigger since she had pushed the other twin sized mattress next to hers), a large bowl of popcorn and a half empty box of juice pouches beside her. Rapunzel was sitting next to Delilah's head, brushing the girl's hair and gazing at the tv. Currently, Delilah was on a high speed chase from the cops, shooting random people on the sidewalks. The chase had started when Delilah had parked the car so that she could respond to everyone on the online chat. When she turned back to the screen, Delilah noticed some ugly streetwalker getting into the passenger seat. Apaled, Delilah got out of the car and shot it, hooker and all, with a rocket launcher. She'd shot the police officer who started to run towards her, then stole a car and he chase began.
Clearly Delilah had some deeply supressed anger problems or something.
Pausing the game, Delilah went back to the chat. Apparently, her friend Dan could be coming over later that night. Shrugging, Delilah logged out and shut her laptop. If did come over, that'd be cool (as long as he didn't try and drink all of her wild cherry Capri-Suns), but she would be ok if he didn't. They were just friends, after all. Delilah got off her bed, and did a quick sweep of her room. No bras laying across the floor, check. No trash anywhere, check. Maxwell Smart, her kitten, was sleeping in his bed. Satisfied that her room was clean, Delilah went to crack open her door. If Dan wanted over, he could come in. "Rapunzel, it'd probably be a good idea if you went back up here." Delilah poked her head and the princess vanished. Delilah didn't feel like explaining that she personified a fairy tale character. Who knew what levels of insanity that sounded like.
Returning to her bed, Delilah resumed her playing of xbox. She just hoped that if Dan did come over, he would be etertaining, because GTA was beginning to lose it's flair.
