personality Quiet: Quite often, she'll portray her emotions, or feelings through body language. Her expressions, and gestures tend to speak louder than she ever could. But when she does speak, she's got a low, gravelly voice.
Prone to fits of crazy: Especially when distracted by something like rugs. Some girls have a thing for nailpolish, or hair products. Adeen's is rugs. She has no carpet in her apartment. The floor is covered in all sorts of fancy rugs. The more intricate, the better. And she loves those frilly little tassles.
Sensual: Not slutty, but sensual. She doesn't have the curves most girls have, and her chest hasn't grown since 9th grade. But what she lacks in silicone, she makes up for in other ways. Her bedroom eyes, the way she moves her hands, or sits. The coy smile from across the room. And of course, some very eccentric hair and makeup never hurt.
past Born and raised in New York City, New York, the city has always been home to her. She grew up from foster home to foster home. Bouncing around from the "parents" who decided that she was a little too quiet and poised for such a little girl.
After a little stint in the Bronx having to do with a fluffy white powder, she was placed in a teen home(*cough*rehab*cough) where she lived out her days. At least until she was old enough to get the hell out of dodge.
When she turned 18, she discovered a bond that had been left for her by her birth mother, and with that money, she enrolled into Barrie University. She decided that the life of a student didn't exactly suit her very well, and dropped out shortly after her 21st birthday. She took a quick class on bartending, and has been hopping from club to club, leaving drunks in her wake.
present Not too long ago, Adeen found herself with a little companion. She had stumbled in al her glittering, pink, bedazzled glory into a flea-market. Of course, that was the best place to find rugs...
A small arabic man smiled at her, and gestured the tall woman close. Entranced, she followed him in behind a satin curtain. The room she found herself in was alight with gold statues. And a single rug, in a frame. Gold lines in the carpet, silk tassles hung off each corner. The rug was worn, but only in the middle, a favorite sitting place for someone. With the price for the rug, far too high--even for Adeen, she left. Never did she see that stall again...but one night, when going back to her apartment, there laid the magnificent rug on her floor.
Nothing about it's suddenly appearance startled her, it felt comforting, warm. And inviting. She dropped her bag to the floor, stepped out of her heels, and dropped to her knees, and crawled onto the rug. Wind burst through her hair, the sides of the rug rippled, the tassles went wild, and images flashed behind her eyes, burning and etching into her mind.
