There was nothing unusual about Wally Malone showing up at Down The Rabbit Hole acting like he owned the place. With all the time he spent there, they should make him pay rent. But the owners didn't, thank god, though that would have never kept him away from his all-time favorite club. Ever.
What was special about this time, though, was that he was meeting a newfound internet friend here. Beth, her name was. One of the many Alice in Wonderland fans or just tag alongs that were gonna be at the tea party that he was really freakin' excited for. He was greeted as he made his way through the dancefloor, searching for the brightly colored hair that he noticed on the internet, hoping he would find Beth that way.
You'd be surprised how many people have brightly colored hair in a nightclub.
Plus, it was physically impossible for Wally Malone to be on a dancefloor with music and other people and focus on something that wasn't dancing and/or making himself look like an idiot in any other situation. But it seemed that his people here had gotten used to Wally's loveable antics. And honestly, he didn't care about what people thought of him anyways. Pretty soon, he was lost in the music and forgot about Beth, hoping somewhere in the back of his mind that she could find him. It wouldn't be hard, all you'd have to do was ask anyone where Wally was and they would lead you the center where people were semi-crowded around him, cheering him on.
Oh, Wally.
notes; Sorry it's so short. I'll probably add on or something, so if you wanna procrastinate replying that's cool. tags; Beth! word count; 274. D: outfit; CLICK IT.

Beth hadn't even been NEAR Down The Rabbit Hole since March had awakened, so she hadn't done any real kind of partying since she'd been discharged from that stupid mental ward. They'd kept her there trying method after stupid method to get her to remember what had happened. She'd managed to block March out during these, and she found that without him, there wasn't a supply of those memories and her mind truly was blank on what had happened. So eventually they had to let her go.... and keep tabs on her to make sure she didn't put herself in dangerous situations. It was only when the string of attacks moved to Maine that the police left her alone, and the hospital let her be just a month or two later. She had a job at Gingey's and she was awfully comfortable, but it was only after she'd gone into a NYC-exclusive chatroom and saw a boy talking about her old favorite for a night hotspot that she remembered how much she'd been missing out on.
The boy's name was Wally, and as yet another AIW fan that had frequented the cbox that night, as well as one also invited to the exciting tea party happening soon, he had invited her to check out the club again when she mentioned that she'd been missing the place. This fact she'd only realized after he'd mentioned it, but she was still fond of it... So here she was, from work to dorm to club. Of course, she'd arrived a little later than originally planned since she had to turn her closet inside out to find her fake I.D. She'd put on her dress while a new, up-to-date copy with a more current picture was produced from a little machine she hadn't broken out in ages originally meant to make business cards. Of course, it was phenomenal for fake's. She'd tugged on her thigh-high boots and clipped some dark red feathers in her hair as makeshift feather extensions, contrasting nicely with her bright green hair still possessing the fluorescence of recently dyed hair. Putting on her trusty time turner necklace, she left the dorm and used a recently purchased bus pass to travel the distance she'd forgotten was so short to the club.
Approaching the door, she realized there was a bouncer she'd never met before... Wally said he practically lived at this club, right? He looked at her expectantly, and she bent down to pull her I.D. out of her boot before flashing it to him and simply saying, "I'm with Wally."
[/color] Smiling, he nodded and let her through easily and even pointed in his direction. On the way in, she started singing Bend and Snap to herself. "Look at my ass, look at my thighs! I'm catnip to the guys! They chase my tail, they drool and pant, wanna touch this, but they can't. No! All the boys want to come and play, snap my fingers and they obey. Why do they follow me around all day, watch me while I walk away? I beeeeend and snap!"[/b] Beth sang to herself, looking around for where she'd been pointed when she said the name. As she searched, she noticed that there were more people than she'd noticed before with dyed hair. Not that she should've been surprised as she was in New York, but she was satisfied to see that not one had her exact shade of green and there wasn't one that had her previous blue color. There were a lot of pinks, but she'd never felt too original with that hot pink. A light pink, that would be nice... Next time, she told herself with a nod. Meanwhile, March was getting excited the closer she moved to a crowd of people gathered around something, what she could only assume was a dancer.... or maybe Wally? March grinned in a way that seemed much less creepy than normal, even with the strange lights and blasting music of the club. Beth approached the group and started to dance along to the music. Jumping with the beat, she slowly made her way through the circle of people to find that it really was the boy she sought in the middle of it all. Jumping with the music, she made her way into the middle and danced with him. "Wally?"[/b] she asked, though she already knew the answer. Grinning wider than she had in a long time, she followed his example and let herself be taken up in the music. Wally didn't know half the songs they were playing that evening, but he danced to them anyways. Even sang some that repeated and he had honestly heard once or twice before, often enough to know at least the chorus. He still messed up, though, but did he care? As usual, no, he did not. But that was Wally Malone for you.
A really catchy-sounding song came on that he guessed was called "Bend and Snap" but he couldn't be sure. Wait, it wasn't playing... someone was singing it! It was while he turned around to see who it was that he saw a head of greenish hair. Beth! He had completely forgotten.
This was why he usually met people outside the club.
"Beth?" He yelled over the music, though it came out a little shaky because he was still dancing. Honestly it was involuntary. Music plus dancefloor equals dancing. That was the only math he liked.
Though the enthusiasm lessened when something sparked inside him. She was familiar. Well, duuuuh he knew her from the internet chat, but it was something else entirely. But Wally, being Wally, shrugged it off. It was too serious to be focused on while in this wonderful place.
