Hey everyone! Guess what time of year it is...you guessed it! ACTIVITY CHECK TIME!!!!! I know, I know, you're all excited. This is unfortunately going to be a bit of a lot to ask of you, but it's going to make it much easier for both the staff and you guys in the upcoming year if this is all in one place. Here is what we need from you: 1. CHARACTERS: The names of all the characters you are keeping, and any that you are dropping. For any characters who were created AFTER the end of the previous activity check, please include their face claims and personifications. 2. GRADES: Any characters who are in school, please let us know what grade they will be in for this upcoming year. 3. RESIDENCIES: Any characters in school who are either Baum or Barrie sophomores, juniors, or seniors, have the option of requesting a roommate. We will do our best to accommodate roommate requests, though no promises can be made. Freshmen at both schools and anyone who does not request a roommate will be randomly assigned. IN ADDITION, Barrie University students may request either a single-sex dorm or a co-ed dorm. If you do not specify, we will assume your character is fine with either. 4. JOBS AND ACTIVITIES: If your character already has a job, please let us know that. Any students who are already involved in extracurricular activities at school, please specify this as well. (There will be opportunities to sign up for characters who are not already involved once we get the lists and claims up). 5. STUDENT GOVERNMENT NOMINATIONS: This year, each grade at Baum Academy is going to be electing a student body president. Each of your Baum characters may nominate themselves or another character in his or her grade for Student Body President (voting will occur at a later date). 6. TWO POSTS: As usual, we're going to need your two posts from this month. If you aren't able to meet that requirement, a strike will be added to your least active character in October (see below). THE STRIKE SYSTEM: Starting this month, we are going to be implementing a two post per character per month requirement. Any character who does not meet this requirement at the next activity check will receive one strike. Three strikes and your character is out, so to speak. HOWEVER, IF YOU RECEIVE A STRIKE OR TWO, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED! To drop a strike, all you have to do is meet the posting requirement for the next month. Easy peasy! Another way to drop a strike is posting in the BETA SITEWIDE EVENT (instructions for this event will be going up around 6 PM, please check the board around that time. After that you can get those plots moving!) For anyone with questions, MONICA will be doing residencies, DANI will be doing grades, ZELDA will be doing face claims claims, BECKET will be doing job claims, MOLLY will be doing extracirriculars, and AIMEE will be doing the canon. Okay, well, Olley's is totally going to make mine look like shit now. But here we go...  Zack Charming is a Barrie University Sophomore. Considering his romantic interest with a certain Charley Harper, he would rather be housed in a single-sex dorm. He is also a member of the debate club.  Xerxes Harrisburg is a Barrie University Freshman. Could he, uh, have a single-sex dorm, please? Girls just...yeah...Annamarie...yeah...no. He'll also be working at The Alleyway.  Darius Harrisburg is also a Barrie University Freshman. Co-ed dorm would be fuckin' rad, but you know, single's pretty fly too.  Brandon Johnson is a Baum Academy Junior. He would dearly appreciate the opportunity to room with a chipper lad by the name of Matthew Peterson. He shall once again be playing the trumpet in the Baum Academy Band, and would dearly welcome the opportunity to become a member of the Book Club.  Tuesday Davenport is a Baum Academy Senior. He doesn't really care but uh, a room with his brother would be, uh, pretty nice. Also, he'd probably make a shitty class leader, but he thinks Pig Spencer would totally make an awesome Class President or whatever. So yeah. You should totally vote for her.  Finn Thomas is the head of the Mathematics Department at Baum Academy, and this year will be teaching Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, and AP Calculus. He also subs at Barrie University occasionally, even though he hates those fucking dumbasses.  Soren Somersett is a Barrie University Junior. He lives in Jacobs Apartment Complex, and will be captain of the Barrie soccer team this season. YOU MOTHERFUCKERS BETTER WATCH OUT, THE PIRATES ARE TAKING IT ALL THIS YEAR. YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT. YOU RUN, YOU LITTLE PUSSIES. He'll also be a member of the writing club, writing for the Newspaper, singing in the choir, and playing trumpet in the band, but YOU'D BETTER NOT TELL ANY OF THE SOCCER DUDES OR SO HELP HIM HE WILL FUCKING SMASH YOUR HEAD INTO THE SIDE OF A GOALPOST UNTIL YOU BLEED AND BEG FOR MERCY.  Jenna Gray is the owner of the 40/40 Club. She lives in the penthouse apartment of the Ice Palace.  Katrina Clark is a Baum Academy Sophomore. She will be part of the Equestrian team and the swim team, but she ain't doin' none of that other extrasirkickular stuff. Nuh-uh. Sooo.. Pretty sure I am the most fail here..   Jeremiah Andrew Marshall - 20 years old, Barrie University Junior. He has no posts, because he's a boring chap. I'm trying to decide what to do with him and his brother at this point. They were my first ever characters.. *snuggles* He needs a roommate. I honestly don't care who. He'd prefer to have a male roommate, but if he'd have a girl, Jeremy would be perpetually on-edge, so that might be hilarious. He doesn't have a specific job, although I can see him being some kind of intern. Also, Jeremiah would be in just about every nerdy activity you can think of..  Joseph Elliot Marshall – 18 years old, Barrie University Freshman. He also has no posts.. BUT I'M BEGINNING SOME PLOTTING CONCERNING HIM AND A LADY. Soo.... That is still to be determined. He needs a roommate as well. Male would be best. He is much too irresponsible to be holding a job. If there is a college baseball team, he will be on it. Track/Cross-Country also. He kinda works at Rose's uncle's garage, but something else might be good too. He is grudgingly taking up football, as an energy outlet. Also, soccer and baseball. BASICALLY, I'm keeping Charity and Cassidy for sure, Kayden is gonna have to take a strike, I guess, cuz she has zero plottage right now, and I'm putting Emmaline and Kat on 'Hold'. Most likely I'll be dropping them if I can't find some plottage for them soon.
More likely than not, I'll be dropping Kat. I'd really like to keep Emmaline though. So, we'll see.
I SWEAR THOUGH, I WILL FIGURE THIS SCHOOL CRAP OUT AND BE BACK TO POSTING SOON.
