clothing style Hunter's clothing is often mild and refined. He finds ostentatious clothing styles to be distasteful and tacky, though he does have a thing for headbands, and he's sure that vibrant hats have their place. Before, when it was just Hunter running around and wasting the body, he tended to wear such vulgar things as wife beaters and baggy jeans on a daily basis. Typical stoner attire. Once Hook took charge, however, all that changed.
distinctive traits Hunter got a prison tatto of a mermaid up his right bicep.
...personal*
personality Driven;; Hook, now having completely taken over Hunter's body and life, has only one mission in life: to get back at that damned brat Pan. He's willing to follow every lead, pull every favor and hunt down each and every fairy to find that little demon so he can finally drive hishookdagger straight through his chest.
Refined;; With the memories of a lifetime condemned to a permanently anchored ship with nothing but men and altogether too-elusive mermaids, Hook/Hunter is all too ready to oblige his tastes now that he has an entire world of cultures and wines and women to get for himself. He's determined to make up for the altogether tortuous time spent in Neverland by doing everything he couldn't there.
Easily Angered;; Both Hunter and hook are known for their quick tempers. Throughout childhood, Hunter would constantly get sent home for beating kids up because they made fun of the fact that his dad had died and his mom had to work as a school secretary. Hook has carried on the tradition of being easily enraged, as anyone he's found to be a bit too annoying or late on their payments can tell you.
past Hunter was the child of a single mother, and growing up in Long Island it was a bit difficult for them to live at the same standard that nearly all the other kids in his school did. Renting out a small apartment, Marina worked at Hunter's school as a secretary, raking in just enough money to sustain the two of them. It was a generally trying time for Hunter, because while all the other kids would talk about how their parents were taking them on special trips to the Caribbean for Spring Break, or how they were so totally happy that they had hired a professional circus for their birthday parties, Hunter had to make do with the scraps that his mom could bring home. Truthfully, it was rather a difficult time for Hunter, but soon he fell in with an older crowd. A more mature crowd. A crowd that would give him weed whenever he asked.
By high school, Hunter was the resident stoner. While some of the stuck up preps looked down on him, Hunter really could care less about his popularity. He had big plans for as soon as he got out of high school, or perhaps even sooner. He was gonna see the world; at least get the hell out of the preppy-ass Cape Cod. With that plan in mind, he paid little attention to what happened to him in school as far as grades or friends were concerned. The only reason he was still connected to the place was his mother.
During his time in the area, he had hooked up with several girls, sure. A hell of a lot of girls, if you'd asked him. The last one from Cape Cod was a certain Macy Gentle. She'd been someone he had hung around with for years, but never really thought of in well... that sort of way. He was a rude teenager, but he didn't exactly want to fuck every single person he met. Besides, she had held, well, a special place in his life. She had been one of the few people to stick by him. There had been others, but they all more or less came and went. It felt like she was always there for him, always around. It was that night that he had left the house to spend the night canoodling with her that it happened. Some little freak decided that it would be a good idea to commit an act of arson while Hunter's mother was spending the night late at the school. The next morning he learned that while he was getting down and dirty with Macy, his mother was burning alive because some chemically imbalanced 7th grade freak had thought he would send a message to the school officials or something.
He stayed in town, in the house for the duration of the two weeks until the funeral. He didn't bother going to school, and he didn't bother talking with any of the people who felt that they were obligated to talk to him about how awful his situation was and how he was so deprived and
present After Hunter left the Cape, he managed to do alright on his own for a few years, but it was inevitable that he would wind up in prison. It was stupid, really. He had spent the years just moving around, generally going wherever the hell he wanted. He spent a while out West, disappearing for a while into the shady druggie underbelly of a few major cities. It was a lifestyle that he felt he had been practically born for. He had never before felt so free to do whatever he wanted to. Back in Cape Cod there had always been some rules or someone watching over him at all times to make sure he wouldn't beat some kid up again or something of the sort. Out in the cities there was practically no law. There was no order. It was whatever he wanted to do, whenever he wanted to do it.
He went a bit too far out on a limb in Maine, however. It was stupid, really. He'd been dealing some of the hard stuff to some kids. He should have known that he would get caught. No one deals cocaine to minors and gets away with it, and especially not in conservative Maine. He wound up in prison for it, which was where he met Jamie Goodfellows (To Be Elaborated Upon).
Upon exiting prison, he was a different man, in the most literal sense. Captain Hook had awoken from the dark trenches of Hunter's mind, and thoroughly taken over the mind of Hunter. While Hunter's mind is still putting up a fight, their relationship is of a parasitic nature. Hunter currently is stranded in New York, as his boat sunk to the bottom of the Long Island Sound after a particularly rough storm. He has no problem with this, however, because he imagines hell be able to steal another boat anytime he wants, and will be able to take the time to catch up on some favors owed to him.
