Metrodora Hayden Cross did not normally do this.
No, she didn't normally talk to guys online with the flirty tone she used aloud. She certainly didn't refrain from opening new tabs so the guy wouldn't think she was distracted. Scratch that, she didn't normally not get distracted. Like, that was that always happened to her. She got in those chat things and then she would open a bunch of tabs for Tumblr and Facebook and YouTube and all those other sites and she forgot all about the little blue cbox. But, that was beside the point. The main thing she didn't normally do was agree to meet guys anywhere other than places she accidentally sees them, and that's what she did.
It was extremely out of character for her, and she wondered what was wrong with her all of the sudden until she saw the guy in the halls at Baum. He didn't notice her, because for once in her life she was trying to be unnoticed, but she saw him. And honey, all second thoughts flew out the window. He was definitely not ugly in any sense of the imagination and oh em gee his eyes and-
So that was pretty much the reason Metro was driving to Starbucks after the bell rang on Friday. It wasn't a date, no. Dates were for squares and people who actually intended in relationships, and Metro never ever considered a relationship ever. She never stayed on the same guy for very long, though when she noticed a guy, she made sure he knew, but completely confined it to the friend-zone once she moved on. She didn't do this to be bitchy or slutty or whatever; she was just too attention deficit for anything that lasted, so someone once said.
It wasn't a date. There wasn't a football game, and they hardly saw each other at school. So this was like talking to someone at a school or a party so she didn't need to worry about it. Which also meant she didn't need to dress any differently/nicer. Metro was just wearing what she had put on that morning for school and that was perfectly okay.
She had her headphones around her neck still, which wasn't really about to change, because if there was anything that was always going to be important to her no matter what, it was music. So there. They were attached to her green iPod, which featured pop and rave music. Why green for that, she didn't remember, probably because all the other colors were better for other things.
When she walked into Starbucks, she scanned the area for any sign of Jet Stone. Okay, either she was totally oblvious, which was possible, or he wasn't here. Oh well. Breathe. This wasn't all that important. Right....?
outfit of "date? what is the meaning of this concept? do tell plz kthx"
