Mallory had always been expected to date top notch guys with fat wallets and even larger egos. Everyone expected her to pursue the guys that would allow her to live her glamorous lifestyle. All these expectations were what OLD Mallory looked for, but the NEW Mallory seemed focused on something more. As Mallory finished off her outfit, she couldn’t help but to smile at the thought of Seth all dressed up. He seemed like the type of guy to really look sexy in a nice suit and slacks. She ruffled her hair a bit and made her way to her car. After the short ride to The Great Stone Dragon, Mallory sat in her car and felt the strange feeling... like butterflies were fluttering in her stomach. She hated the feeling and she even thought about leaving. Just calling it quits and sitting in her room. Mallory wasn’t spineless and she did what she wanted no matter what she was ‘feeling.’ Feelings aside from anger and resentment were new territory and Mallory was slowly opening up to them. It was weird, like Dorothy was slowly becoming more aggressive and rude, while Mallory was starting to smile and laugh. Shoving those thoughts out of her mind, Mallory pushed open the large door and proceeded into the Asian themed restaurant. A waitress smiled, but Mallory couldn’t find Seth. Maybe he was running late, so Mallory smiled and shook her head and sat down at a waiting chair. The butterflies were coming back.

Late. Shit. Late. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Shit. Late. FUCK. Late. How was he... he didn't even... what the hell... how could he.... This was Seth's first date. EVER. Well, his first real date. He had gone to a middle school dance or two with Rose, but those had been gatherings of the most platonic sort. This was a legit date, with a legit girl. And not just any girl. A FUCKING BREATHTAKING GIRL! A girl that really had no business going out with a schmuck like Seth! A girl who was way out of his league. AND HERE HE WAS LATE! It had not started out as a good day for Seth. More in house drama, more out of house drama. It could simply not be escaped. But today he tried not to let it bother him. Instead he focused on getting an outfit. Luckily, he had Jeny's help, though she did determine that all of his cloths were unwearable. Fuck. Also, ouch. That had been... a little harsh. True. But harsh. So that prompted a little shopping escapade, where Jeny DEMANDED he tried on just about everything in this weird little hell called a Department Store. She had wanted him to go with some obscene little pink shit, but Fuck that down main street and back. Instead, he got a pair of nicely fitting blue jeans, a black dress shirt, and a pair of shoes. The sprinklings of color was offered by the bouquet in Seth's hand. Now, one had to know, that under his brash nature, potty mouth, and incarceration record, that Seth Foxworth was deep down a romantic at heart. He wanted the whole fifties dream: House, car, fence, dog, wife, kids. The whole shebang. But it would all start with the wooing process, all start with the romancing. Not that he was already fantasizing about Mallory being his wife or anything. He'd wait at least for the second date for that... But this was most certainly the start. Of course, that was assuming, she didn't throw water on him on sight for being tardy. Or, worse, if she was there at all. He wouldn't blame her for leaving. Anyway, a continuation of his horrible, horrible, day. Seth's old caddy, his old faithful friend, DIED all over the place this afternoon. But, no big deal, right? Shit happened. So Seth called a cab, as Rose's car was with Rose wherever the fuck she was, and Guillermo's truck hardly said: First Date. Unfortunately, as New York City fucking sucked Monkey Balls, the kryptonite of all New Yorkers reared it's ugly head. And like New Yorkers, Seth handled it the only way he could, he just booked it. After paying of course. No need to have the cops called on him on his first date. That could prove awkward. So now, here he was, Seth Foxworth, bursting into The Great Stone Dragon, ready to beg for forgiveness. He saw Mallory... holy shit. Mallory. She looked like a dream, like an angel. She looked liked something angels dream about. Approaching the table with a sudden shyness, Seth lowered his head at her. "Mallory... you look... wow. You just look... wow." Oh how profound, how eloquent, how dapper. How fucking retarded. "So... I'm late. And, I'm sorry. But if you want to throw a glass of water at me, I completely understand. I won't even try to dodge..." He looked down at the flowers, and stuck them out to her, looking sheepish. "Oh, these are for you." And so, Seth Foxworth waited to be sentenced. Whaddup date cloths.

Mallory had checked her phone at least fifteen times in the short amount of time that Seth had been late. She wasn't sure what her phone would say or do, but it gave her comfort that Seth hadn't called or texted her to say that he canceled. She hadn't ever been canceled on and she sure as hell didn't want to start that, so she kept a positive attitude as she slowly sipped from her water that she had ordered after being forced to a couple's table. She tapped her foot and her body would clinch every time she heard the bell ding signaling a new customer. She felt her stomach tighten a little more each time she didn't see Seth come through the door. She didn't enjoy the unnerving idea of being stood up and she was ready to leave, when Seth in all his goofy, yet badass glory came barging through the doors with a bouquet of flowers. She nearly started clapping excitedly, as if he was making a grand entrance. She kept her calm, yet sweet game face on as Seth hung his head as if he was going to beg her for forgiveness... and beg he did after a bit of a choppy compliment. She smiled a cheeky smile and leaned forward as if to get a closer look at Seth.
"C'mon Seth. It's our first date, I'll leave the 'getting wet' part for later tonight." Mallory's words were teasing and the slut inside her was showing her horns. "Thanks. They are gorgeous. And take a seat, please." Mallory took the flowers from him and smelt them. They smelt simply...divine and they even had a bit of whatever Seth was wearing, well, cologne wise. "You look rather 'Wow' yourself." She added as she set the flowers gently down next to her purse. She let her eyes scan over Seth's outfit and the way that his jeans hugged certain areas and the button-up showed a bit of his muscles. She wanted him...like, at that very moment... but she had to wait. All good things came with time..right? She certainly hoped so. "So, how have you been?" She asked with a genuine curiosity.

She... she was smiling. That was either really good or really bad. "C'mon Seth. It's our first date, I'll leave the 'getting wet' part for later tonight." Seth's pale, blue, eyes widened a little, a faint pink touching his cheeks. Alright, that settled that. The smile was really, really, really, good. Awesome. Right. He should probably say something smooth, something savvy, something dashing right here. Try and dazzle her a bit. Let her know how it feels for once... "Uhh..." Verbal Motzart. How the hell was he still a fucking virgin. The pink darkened a bit on his cheek, though a sheepish but pleased grin spread on his crooked grin. Seth watched her smell the flowers, and he hoped that he hadn't gone wrong in not getting her roses. Mallory... she needed something better than roses. He'd bet hard money that she'd received a small fortune in roses, through out her life, being such a pretty thing. And Seth didn't want to just be the average-what-the-fuck-Joe. He wanted to stand out, as much as he could. Though, even though Seth was thrilled with this turn of events, this strange quagmire that was this date, he couldn't help but wonder what the hell she was doing here. With him. Maybe God loved him. The thought made Seth repress a laugh. Oh shit, was he just gawking at her? "Thanks. They are gorgeous. And take a seat, please." Yep, he was definitely gawking like a creepy ass mother fucker. Epic. Sitting down across from her quickly, he gave a nervous smile, wanting to apologize again for being so late. "You look rather 'Wow' yourself."He looked down at his cloths, a little bewildered by the compliment. "Oh, well..." He chuckled, smoothing out his voice. "I tend to shine up alright, if the situation calls for it." His grin peaked up his left cheek, and he knew this situation really did call for it. "Braved a department store for this little number, and lived to tell the tale. You should be impressed." He joked (kinda), chuckling his distinctive laugh. It was loud, wholesome, booming. A laugh, in Seth's opinion, should never be quieted. "So, how have you been?" She asked, her brown eyes fixed on him. Maintaining the eye contact, Seth leaned forward, trying to settle his nerves. "Oh, you know, life-ish. Friends too dumb to know what's good for them, car breaking down, parole officer being a bitch, Ma's bouncing here and there. A day in the life." He shrugged, the lightness in his voice genuine. His new motive was to not worry so much. Everything always seemed to work itself out, in the end. Rose and Guillermo would stop being idiots, Rose would have a hay day fixing his car, and he'd be off parole in a dime. It was a once a month check in, no big deal. And as for his Mother, she'd come down eventually from her crazy stool. "Now, tell me about you. Or anything. Fu-Hell, you could read me Dr. Suess and I'd listen, pretty voice and all..." The correction was of Jeny's chirping earlier that day. Don't cuss so much, hold open doors, so on, so forth. He wasn't going to mess this up.

Petrified. Seth was a wide, eyed blushing marble statue after her comment. She felt like she was gazing over her prize, her marble trophy. She started peeling away his clothing with her mind, her imagination reeling over the possibility of what his body looked like under his button down. She had just got his pants undone, when her blushing statue spoke up. Not much of a statement, but enough to pull Mallory back to his eyes. His clothes reappeared and she had to restrain herself from sighing in disappointment. If Seth saw/heard her sigh, then she’d lose her fantasy, well now reality.
Then he smiled. His smile just made her want to...—well, smile a coy smile back at him. Her eyes stayed on his while she smelt the assorted flowers that reminded her of a rainbow. She got roses, sure. Tulips, plenty. Sunflowers, dozens. But this was just a bit of everything and looked like art in the form of a bouquet meant solely for her. After she set them delicately on the ground by her purse, her eyes went to his and he was just standing there… gawking at her. She felt her cheeks grow a bit warm from her blushing, and she could tell her cheeks were a darker shade of pink. He quickly took her offer and sat down.
Mallory laughed along with him and the smile remained after they were done. “Well, you sir are turning a few heads.” She stated as she gestured towards a group of preteens at a table with their mother, all turning to glance over and turn back to giggle. Mallory laughed slightly, “However, you my attention, so I don’t have to worry…right?” Her voice teasing as she gave him a wink. His laugh was so intoxicating and happy, and it felt genuine. Mallory hadn’t seen Seth this giddy before, it was interesting. She gave him an approving nod, “Well, you have quite the stylist…Unless you picked it out. Then I’d be quite impressed.”
Mallory just nodded and casually leaned closer towards him, closing the gap their face about six inches from one another. She watched his face thoroughly traveling from his eyes and how they were pale blue almost milky blue, then his lips the way that they would twitch occasionally either fighting a smile or a frown. Then, he asked her about her life… what a bother… “Seth. The life of New York Royalty is quite the dull one…” Mallory quirked a brow at Seth before giggling, “Parents that are never around, big condo to myself, endless shopping sprees, and life as a girl. My life is a fucking rollercoaster to say the least. But, Snobby high society she-devil complaining abut her seemingly perfect life… “Mallory scoffed at herself in disappointment. She had zero right to complain, but here she was… bitching about everything, yet seemed to small compared to Seth’s problems. She huffed a bit and tucked a random piece of hair before giving Seth a sympathetic smile.

She had a nice laugh. Alright, to be fair, she really had a nice everything. For once, every guy in New York City wanted to be in the seat that Seth Foxworth was sitting in. Even the gay ones, if for no other reason than to talk about... shoes or something. It was a little bewildering, to be honest. Seth wasn't a lucky fellow, after all. Maybe, just maybe, his life was starting to do a little turn around. Perhaps, it was possible, that Seth's chaotic life was getting in order. Which suited him. He liked order. “Well, you sir are turning a few heads.” Following her gaze, Seth spotted a group of twippering girls, who hid behind menus as he looked. Raising his eyebrow, he wondered if the cloths really made that much of a difference. Seth looked back at Mallory, her pretty grin curled on her lips. “However, you my attention, so I don’t have to worry…right?” Seth's blue eyes widened a bit in surprise, wondering if she was really concerned that his attention would be carried elsewhere. "Of course you do." He replied, brows knitted in some seriousness. Seth was a sensitive boy, who took peoples words completely to heart. He did not look angry, just stern, his blue eyes soft. But soon, his brows unknitted, and his face relaxed back into a smile. “Well, you have quite the stylist…Unless you picked it out. Then I’d be quite impressed.” Seth blushed modestly, not sure what to say. Honestly, it was just a dress shirt and a pair of jeans. Hell, had he allowed Jeny to dress him like she wanted, who knows how Mallory would have acted. So, Seth just shrugged, looking down at the menu. His eyes flicked back up, noticing how close their faces were, his cheeks turning a shade pinker. Fucking Christ, he was bad at this. “Seth. The life of New York Royalty is quite the dull one… Parents that are never around, big condo to myself, endless shopping sprees, and life as a girl. My life is a fucking roller coaster to say the least. But, Snobby high society she-devil complaining abut her seemingly perfect life…" Seth frowned, stopping himself from nodding understandingly, for fear that she would think he was agreeing with her. Instead, he looked down at the menu, and in a moment of courage laid his hand on top of hers. He was expecting a zing, or something. Like when someone was wearing wool socks, and rubbed them on a carpet, before touching you. But, he didn't feel it. Instead her hand was warm, soft, comfortable. Staring at the menu, his eyes did not move along with the words. "You should go easier on yourself. Hell, you know, if you don't like the society life, you could always move into the complex." The complex being Jacobson Apartments. Braving looking up at her, he smiled, shrugging a little. "It'd be a shorter walk, you know. To hang out." Wait, fuck. Did that sound like he wanted her around to bang? Shit a brick, that's not how he meant it. Still, Seth would be fucking re-stupid to deny Mallory was gorgeous. Seriously, her legs rivaled Rose's, and while his romantic feelings for his childhood best friend were but a memory, Seth had to admit she was stacked. Hrm. That seemed to end on a sadder note. Seth gave her a winning crooked smile. "You know what? Fuck the real world, it's honestly not that interesting anyway. Just a bunch of bullshit." He sniffed, forgetting the no cursing rule momentarily, shrugging, pulling his hand away to sit back comfortably in his seat, trying not to slouch. "Tell me the most ridiculous thought you've ever had. Or, well, the first one that comes to mind." His grin widened, his stare focused. Seth was a man on a mission, and his mission was to make sure Mallory Torres had a fucking good time tonight.
