personality
Will is one of the most dominant, spontaneously creative and extroverted people you will ever meet. She is ambitious, courageous, dominant, strong willed, generally positive, independent, self-confident- there is no such a word as doubt in her vocabulary.
On the whole she uses her powers for good, for she is strongly idealistic, humane, and beneficent. Though if you cross her, God help you, as her temper is something Bard's once sang about. She may become very obstinate and often times unforgiving for random amounts of time. One offense that seems mundane she will be angry about for weeks, and a grave one might be let go in a matter of hours.
Still, at times, she can be one of the most unpleasant human beings imaginable, displaying extreme arrogance, haughtiness, and excessive hastiness of temper. Emphasis on hastiness. If jealous or suspicious of rivals, she will not hesitate to use cunning, lies, and trickery to discredit them.
In her relations with others, Will is open, sincere, genuine and trusting. As she is outgoing, spontaneously warm-hearted and plain spoken, she is generally never lacking in kindliness, Will is more disillusioned than the average if let down by those she trusts. She is not a great judges of character and is highly inclined to favoritism and an exaggerated faith in those she deems favorable, no matter what the peanut gallery says.
past
There isn't a whole lot to report, as far as Willow is concerned. She's the last of four daughters of the Fayette's, who are a pair of left winged forest rangers who met in the peace core twenty six years prior. They had a very laid back approach in raising their daughters, allowing them to do as they pleased when they pleased. It had varying effects on the girls: Starling is twenty one with three kids, Juniper is 18 and nearly covered in tattoos, and perfect Violet is studying at Harvard Law. On scholarship, Mrs. Fayette likes to point out.
Being so close to Yellowstone National Park, Will has always had a kinship with nature. Summerly camping trips and picnics were a common thing in the Fayette household were very common.
From the beginning Willow was one of the boys. So much so that she was rarely even called Willow. She was Will. The Fayette's had always wanted a boy, and Silas sort of made Will into that boy. Everyday, he'd take his Little Will to ball games, hiking, mountain climbing, out to help him build a habitat or work on his jeep.
Will was a diligent helper, and was never one to be afraid of getting down and dirty. When she was eight years old, she was backed by her Father as she signed up for Boy Scouts, wanting nothing to do with that cookie business. After a few court dates and much local media attention, Willow got what she wanted. By the end of it, Will was pleased, even if the boys were rude and Scout Master Skip was a jerk who made them build a dog house for their group building project. Her Father assured her it was the principle of the matter. He was personally thrilled with her determination against a wrong she wanted righted.
When she was eleven, and her sister was sixteen, she became an Aunt. Upon becoming pregnant, Starling demanded to be married to her seventeen year old high school sweet heart Anthony. This lead to the very outspoken Will's opinion that she did it on purpose. The pair were married in a quiet ceremony, and two more children soon followed. Whilst pregnant with the third, Starling had grown wary of her marriage, and filed for divorce. Will, who had never really been fond of Anthony- he smelled of cigarettes and cheap cologne, and spoke with a British accent after a school rendition of 'My fair lady' that was horribly obnoxious. And so, her sister and three little nieces moved back into the family home, causing Williow to begin sharing a room with a two toddlers.
As she grew, her Mother helped her develop a more feminine side, finding she had a great talent for singing. There was also a failed attempt at getting her into an Easter Dress which ended in her Dad's nether regions in such a bad state he had to make a trip to the hospital and her Mother having to ice a black eye. But after that , the subject was dropped. Besides, they only needed to wait for her to start High School at the fabulous Baum Academy on scholarship for her Extracurricular Achievements (where a certain Sir who would become her best friend attended) for her to start dressing a bit more carefully. Nothing tight or skimpy, but definitely more feminine.
present
So, what's happened next?
Will has two of the greatest friends anyone could ask for, plus a handful of others. One being the pompous and dashing(handsome, dreamy, athletic, smart, funny...)Freds, WHO SHE DEFINITELY DOES NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON OR ANYTHING WHO HAVE YOU BEEN TALKING TO? The other being the more sensitive RJ, who is in constant competition with Freds. She's an average student, but a superb athlete, active in soccer and baseball, and was formally in track.
Her free time she spends most of her time with the boys, either on RJ's boat- deemed 'The Party Boat'- or at school. She especially enjoys watching the boys at water polo, often there for practices and always there for games. Her style has developed into sportish from her uniforms or work out gear- as she's very active- or loosely feminine. Or she just steals one of the boys' shirts if she sleeps over in their dorm.
You know, whatever works.

1.) Soccer and baseball.
2.) Makin stuff. She likes building things.
3.) Boys. Not like 'Oh he's so cute, I wanna date him' like. Like, she SO VERY MUCH prefers male company to female.
4.) Glitter. Especially blowing glitter dust on Freds or R.J. when they annoy her. But also just because. If she pretties up, you can bet she'll abuse the glitter.
5.) Bells and Wind Chimes
6.) Nature. She loves rolling around on grass or snow, sunshine, blue skies, rainy days.
7.) Deep fried Royale Mushrooms and Pixie sticks. Her fave foods. And yes, pixie sticks are food.
8.) Singing. Soprano baby.
9.) Petrichor
10.) Piggy Back Rides. If she has the option of walking or a piggy back ride, three guesses as to what she picks.
11.) Laughing Baby videos on youtube.
12.) Changing the bad, keeping the good.
dislikes
1.) Meat. She's been a vegetarian since she was 12.
2.) Stagnant quiet.
3.) Milk. She's weird about it. She's not fond of the taste, but will drink it, so long as it's five days before the expiration date. If it's past, she's not touching it.
4.) When testosterone get's irritatingly high with R.J. and Freds.
5.) When people use big words when there are perfectly good normal words that can be used. Oh, you're intelligent? Whoopee-fucking-do for you.
6.) Unreliable people.
7.) Haters. They hate. Often.
8.) Country music. She's just not a fan. You lost your dog, your boy friend/ girl friend, or your car. Sad for you.
9.) Boring people who call themselves 'Mature' while sipping merlot or whatever. Yeah, she's going to be over here, eating a pixie stick and having fun.
10.) Those with big barks and no bites. You wanna throw down, come at me bro. Otherwise, step back.
11.) Anyone who doesn't say what they mean, and mean what they say.
12.) Zoos. They bum her out.
other notes Don't let that sweet face fool you, she's a pistol.
...literature*
book title Peter and Wendy
backstory In the original story Tink repaired the pots and kettles for the lost boys. She did not speak English, but spoke in fairy, which sounds like tinkling bells to all those unfamiliar with the language. Though often bratty and sometimes homicidal (sorry Wendy) she is very loving to Peter, and does all she can to help him. Even drinking poison in his stead after an attempted murder by Hook. The extremes in her personality are explained in-story by the fact that a fairy's size prevents her from holding more than one feeling at a time, so when she is angry she has no counterbalancing compassion. By the end of the book, she seems to have died, and Peter has no memory of her at all.
