personality
CARING/PROTECTIVE;;
Genevieve has a very caring, mother hen nature. With her friends, she's like a mother away from home at times. It comes instinctually; Ginny automatically knows the perfect remedy for the common cold, stomach viruses, fevers, that kind of thing. Her friends and family come first and you shouldn't be surprised if she starts tidying up your kitchen (Genevieve, unexplanably, enjoys to clean). Genevieve doesn't let the care stop at people; she adores little critters. While she eats her meat and you won't find her parading about naked with a sign that says "I'd rather go naked than wear fur", Ginny likes to go to parks and feed all the little birdies.
REGAL;;
You cannot deny Genevieve Van Bueren's fine pedigree. Besides being born into her, Genevieve's manners, manerurisms and very way of holding herself come from many years of lessons. Habits are hard to break and Ginny will often find herself acting the way a Princess should. She'll properly set a table, have to stop herself from inviting friends to watch polo, almost talk to formal French when on the phone, that sort of thing. There's no denying that Ginny has loosened up and likes to have fun, but her regal demeanor will always be hard to break.
UNABLE TO DEAL WITH STRESS/A BIT UNSTABLE;;
Most people are born with the mechanisms to deal and handle stress in healthy ways, but Genevieve was not. The very idea of stressful activities makes her bones ache. Even exams make her mind turn into a beast. This beast has always lived within Ginny and it truly represents the worst of her. Whenever something is upsetting Genevieve, she'll hardly eat anything more than celery sticks and ice cubes for days. She has popped a few antidepressants in the past. Often, she lives of 5 Hour Energies for half a week until she's so weak from hunger she can't get out of bed. If the "beast" is in a different mood, during stressful times Genevieve will eat like a hideous cow and then vomits everything up. Genevieve really needs help with this, but the idea of even seeing a therapist or support group makes her turn her nose up. The media would have a field day if sweet Princess Genevieve turned out to have an eating disorder.
past
To understand Genevieve, you have to understand her past. Genevieve was born the first child to Alexander and Victorie Van Bueren, the King and Queen of Monaco, a small country on the French Riviera. Because of a ten month difference making Genevieve first instead of her sister Melanie, Genevieve was automatically the true heir to her parents' throne. Both sisters were princessess, but it was clear who was favored. Genevieve needed the best princess/future queen training, needed to know how to look the best in the public eye. Even as a baby, Genevieve was always dolled-up to the T. Continuing into toddler-hood, much emphasis was put on Genevieve acting like a grown-up, acting older than her true age. To a young child, it was seen as silly. All she wanted to do was play will her dolls and sister Mellie, whom she absolutely adored. She didn't want to wear the stiff dresses that strange women who were not her mommy forced her into. While the Van Buerens believed they were pruning Ginny into a beautiful, perfect queen, they didn't realize that they were ruining her.
When Genevieve became a teen and was able to clearly understand what all the boring lessons were pointing towards, she got worried. Unlike most girls who always yearn to be a princess, Genevieve wanted out. No one knew that she had a problem dealing with stress and it's an obvious fact that ruling a country is practically kin to stress.
At fourteen, Ginny started to starve herself. While to the public they would appear to be a perfect family, the Van Buerens were far from it. Constantly they would ignore Mellie, much to Genevieve's displeasure, while they doted on the first born. Genevieve wanted nothing more than to slip under her parents' radar; besides being showered with what they thought of as "love" (dresses and jewels and the like), when Victorie gave her daughter attention, it was to point out the negatives. As a child, Genevieve had been a bit chubby. It was just seen as cute back then, though, and her parents always thought it would go away with age. It didn't. So at fourteen, Victorie began pestering Genevieve about when she was going to "be skinny like normal girls". When she going to "stop being fat" or "actually look decent in those form-fitting dresses". Of course, Ginny wasn't fat; her weight didn't match up to what her mother thought of as "perfect/queen material". Unable to deal with the stress that was placed on her to loose weight, Ginny starved herself. The only time she ate a full meal was under the watchful eyes of the press and whenever she had to sit down for a meal with the Royal Court. Afterwords, she would always vomit it up.
Genevieve's anorexia continued until she turned eighteen. The anexiety and stress had been piling up for years and she was done dealing with it. One night, Genevieve went to her parents' study and announced that she would not accept the crown and queenlyship. Her parents were devastated and Ginny immediately requested that her younger sister Mellanie, whom Ginny adored, be given the crown instead. To her dismay, Victorie vehemiantly argued against it, but never gave a reason. With pounds of stress lifted off her head, Genevieve then told her goodbyes and left for America.
present
Genevieve fell in love with New York. The mixing of so many different cultures was amazing and she simply had to enrole in college. Not long after being there, she got a call from lovely Mellie and the next thing Genevieve knew, they were attending college together! It just put the icing on the cake for her; after all, Ginny and Mellie are BFFLs! While she doesn't have to worry about stress from queendom, the paparrazi still have their little field days trying to catch Princess Ginny attending school, shopping, or hanging out with friends. That alone makes her quessy and for several days after that it's unlikely for her to eat anything more than ice cubes or celary sticks. Anything else is thrown up.
For now, Genevieve is working on a major in dermatology. She loves the idea of beautifying everyone she can get her hands on; not only does she love them, but Genevieve is also making up on years of slumber parties and make-overs she never got to experience. Yes, she's dedicated to her major, but don't be surprised to find her in some off-the-wall class like caligraphy or basket weaving. Genevieve can't her hands on enough new material.

book title Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
backstory
So there's this little girl born with skin as white as snow and hair as black as ebony. Her parents name her Snow White (original, huh?) Her mother, the queen, dies and her father marries this totally vain bitch, The Evil Queen. This new queen is so stuck-up she asks a magic mirror everyday "Who's the fairest of them all?" and the mirror always answered "You are, my queen."
...Well, that is until Snow turned seven. The stunning little kid became the fairest in the land over the Evil Queen. Unfortunately for Snow, Queenie couldn't handle coming in second, so she hired a huntsman to chop out her heart (I think. Maybe liver?) and bring it back to her. Snow was out playing in the woods when the huntsman came after her, but her litle girl charm reminded him that he had a heart, so he told her to run away. He chops out the heart of an animal, brings it to the queen, and she eats. Disgusting, right?
Snow runs and runs into the woods when she stumbles upon a cabin with seven (male) dwarves: Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc and Sleepy. They let her stay there as long as she cleaned and cooked for them and promised she would never open the door for a stranger, which she was happy to do. Soon, the Evil Queen discovered Snow still alive in the forest. She disguises herself as an old woman and comes to offer Snow some article of clothing similar to a corset and ties it to make Snow faint. It didn't kill her, though. Next, the Queen came and brushed her hair with a poisoned comb but that didn't kill Snow, either! Finally comes the apple. Snow bites it and falls into a coma. The dwarves are horrified and place her in a glass coffin in the forest.
One day, a prince rides by and falls in love with her. He begs the dwarves to let him have her and when he's carrying the coffin, the piece of apple dislodges from her throat and she wakes up. The prince and Snow get married and when the Evil Queen finds out that Snow is both alive and a queen, she has a heart attack and dies.
