clothing style ethan's wardrobe mainly consists of solid colored t-shirts, a few v-necks, and many plaid shirts (more than anyone probably should have in one closet to be honest.) Like any guy, he wears whatever is comfortable and clean, or relatively clean, with jeans and either work-boots or a pair of cowboy boots.
distinctive traits Ethan doesn't have any tattoos or piercings, however he does have a unique pattern of freckles on his lower back that looks similar to the small-dipper if you connect the dots. From working on the ranch for most of his life, Ethan has collected plenty of scars from working outside doing "man's work."
...personal*
Ethan Campbell was born on July 18, 1993 as the youngest of three to Jay and Tracey Campbell. He was raised in the what's called the Bible-Belt in Tarrant County in the "mid-cities" area between Dallas and Fort Worth of Bedford, Texas. Bedford is a typical Texan suburb where the population knows football comes first, family is a close second, and never take the Lord's name in vain.
Ethan grew up with his older brothers Hudson and Blake on their ranch (18.73 acres, gated-fenced, country estate perfect for equestrian property, including 3 spring fed ponds, well, pastures, lots of trees and rolling hills, oh and a guest house with four-stall garage.) One could assume that the Campbell family business was fairing pretty well in the economy due much to the demand for picture perfect smiles and bodies, as well that Ethan's house wasn't the popular place to hang out with both his parents being orthodontics.
Being the baby of the family, Ethan naturally received plenty of love and extra attention over his brothers from the day he was born but he's easily embarrassed by his parents love for him and prefers to keep his parents out of his social life. He doesn't really mind spending time at a friend's place instead of his house, especially since everyone knows Braxton's mom is a total MILF. But truthfully, Ethan doesn't really mind being loved so much or getting the benefit of the doubt when it comes to fights with Blake; it's not so bad being the baby after all, in fact, it's pretty useful.
Braxton Nibs and Ethan have been friends since they were six years old when Ethan's family first moved to Texas. Braxton since he was an only child, (and heaven help the child if any rumors about his mother had any truth behind them), was such a permanent fixture around their house that when they decided to make a guest house on one side of the property, the Campbell's added a bedroom specifically for him in the building plans although the house was inteded for in-laws.
They were completely inseperably growing up. Mostly spending time at either one's ranch riding horses or going swimming every day until it was time to do chores and eat dinner; the perfect times in his childhood always involved Braxton and the different adventures they would have while running around the property. Recalling, that would be the perfect day if you asked Ethan: a day of riding horses across the country to the swimming spot where the boys would fool around until the sun went down and the crickets started to buzz.
The best friends despite their closeness and friendship also have an intense rivalry since they were in grade school. If one friend got an A on a quiz, the other would get on the honor role; if one of them won kickball, the other would get picked for softball captain. Healthy competition pushed to boys to success since they were always giving their best to out do the other and they remain friendly competitors today, even if scores were never remembered and it was just a game between them. So that's how it was throughout grade school, middle school and high school where they pushed each other to new limits in sports and academics.
This characteristic for loving friendly competition may explain partly Ethan's odd habit of finding interest in the most difficult of things. If it was easy - it was boring to him. This is why Ethan only dates girls after Braxton has started to date them. It's not until his best friend had found something good in a girl that Ethan ever notices her romantically and decides to set his sights on her instead of an easier girl. It seems that Ethan has always liked girls who were out of his league, with Braxton (either at the time or afterwards), or hated his guts.
Ethan is a friendly guy who would mostly likely win best-smile and most-likely-to-succeed in his high school. In his high school, Ethan is one of those athletic jock types that has to focus on winning titles and scholarships to get into college so their parents can re-live their lives through his career. He's one of those guys that are easy to be around because they're so down to earth that every moment is fun and comfortable. Ethan likes practical jokes and adventures since he's used to hanging around Braxton, although he doesn't like being the center of attention so much, rather being a second-hand kind of man. Ethan is incredibly good-natured and kind at heart. He's a country-boy that likes spending the day outside riding horses or helping with chores, and knows the importance of reading the "good book." Like any god-fearing christian, Ethan was raised to be a southern gentleman and although he's dated every girl that Braxton has (somewhere in the double digits now), he is rather innocent about romance because he agrees it's better to take things slowly.
Up until this year, the Campbell's have been more than content with their property in Bedford, but when the business boomed in the past years Jay and his business partners decided to talk franchise. CO Orthodontics now had companies spread over the country in nine different states, spanning from Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, to the north Montana and east to New York. So it was that in Ethan's senior year in high school that the family business expanded and moved across the country where after graduation and college, he would be expected to take a part in the legacy created. Ethan Campbell was registered at Baum Academy to begin his part in New York following his parents' plan for his life despite that he had no intention of actually joining the company or becoming a dentist despite his perfect smile. Ethan was mainly excited to go to the Big Apple as a new adventure, as he saw it. He was on a quest - figuring out what he wanted in life, besides what his parents wanted, the holy grail being a way out of looking at cavities and metal wires all day.

book title
Arthurian Legends 'Lancelot en Prose' - The Vulgate Cycle - is a comprehensive trilogy ('Lancelot Propre', 'La Queste del Saint Graal', and 'La Mort de Roi Artu')
backstory
In summary: Sir Lancelot is regarded as the first and greatest of King Arthur's legendary knights. He is known as Lancelot of the Lake (or Lancelot du Lac) because he was raised by Vivien, the Lady of the Lake. His knightly adventures include the rescue of Queen Guinevere from the evil Méléagant, a failed quest for the Holy Grail, and a further rescue of Guinevere after she is condemned to be burned at the stake for her affair with him. Lancelot is also loved by Elaine of Astolat who dies of grief because her love is unrequited. Another Elaine tricks him - apparently he thought she was Guinevere - into sleeping with her (and begetting Galahad). His long relationship with the real Guinevere ultimately brings about the destruction of King Arthur's realm.
oh. and he was supposedly bisexual gay, but that's just a side note.
