personality
One word to describe November's personality would be... indifferent. She simply doesn't care, or at least doesn't appear to. In truth, she cares very much, she simply doesn't broadcast it. Then again, she doesn't care about most things that others seem to. Though she's only eighteen, she's been an intern at Last Petal LLC since her sophmore year for the business experience.
November seems very aware that she is smarter than most people at her age. She's in the most advanced classes offered for her grade, and managed to earn her way to a full scholarship at her private boarding school. Because of this, she's very intolerant of people who aren't as smart as her. But also because of this, she acts mostly oblivious of looks, and focuses only on if the person is worthy of debate or not.
However, just because she's smart, doesn't mean she isn't a fan of stories. In fact, most of the books she reads are fiction, unless it's something required for class. Though she enjoys writing, she doesn't think she could ever write a book because of her strange spelling errors. She sometimes tells stories of her relatives, including her insane Aunt who claims to have laid a seagull's egg once, and her husband who claims he was blown off of the Empire State Building on a very blusterous day, but survived. November thinks they're obviously perfect for each other.
past
November was born to Taylor Norman and Cameron Starr eight months after a drunken night at a New York party. They were both twenty-one, and had already been talking about getting married. As such, they were elated to learn of her pregnancy, and were officially married three months later. They picked the name November after Cameron's Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother.
But the joy of a new baby would be cut short, when Taylor went into early labor, and there were too many complications. Taylor was gravely ill for the first two years of November's life. She died two weeks after her second birthday, never getting to hold her baby in her arms. Cameron remarried when November was eight, and tried to have two babies, both of which were still-born. Cameron and his new wife, Jessica, decided that they didn't want to try and bring yet another child into this world, as it might die before it ever had a chance.
Soon after deciding this, Jessica began to search for a way of grieving that didn't involve her husband's comfort, because, even though it had worked before, the last child had looked exactly like him in his baby pictures, and Jessica couldn't look at Cameron's face without it breaking her heart and making her think of what could have been. As this was so, Jessica soon got into drugs and did everything she could to avoid looking at her husband for two years.
When November was thirteen, Cameron caught his wife being unfaithful in a motel room, and shot the man she was with. But Jessica had gotten pregnant from that man, and this child was no different than the other two. Birthing the dead a third time, Jessica didn't have the will to live anymore. Her husband could never trust her again, and she felt as if she'd killed three children. Five weeks after this third pregnancy-gone-wrong, Jessica hung herself in her attic, and fourteen-year-old November was the one to find her.
present
Unable to handle the grief in the house anymore, November applied for a boarding school, and got in easily enough. Her father didn't object. Her father didn't do much of anything anymore. He just sat on the couch all day, staring at pictures of those who he'd lost.
November has never told anyone about these things at her new school, and no one ever bothered to ask. She shut herself off from everyone as much as she possibly could, rarely making friends. Her goal in life was to not love anyone but herself anymore. Her goal in life was all business. She couldn't help hoping that if she was successful, there wouldn't be as much grief around her.

book title Winnie The Pooh
backstory **copied from a website
The Owl in Winnie the Pooh is a large one and stands at 28 inches tall and his wings upon full stretch can reach a length of nearly 42 inches. While Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh are the original toys belonging to Christopher Robin Milne, Rabbit and Owl where not part of his original collection. But as the story developed a need was felt to bring new characters. Hence Rabbit & Owl were added. Since these two animals had the gift of brains their original names were used.
Owl is supposed to be the wisest in the 100 Acre Wood and his favourite food is the afternoon tea. His intelligence is often called upon to aid a certain bear of very little brain. He speaks eloquently and although he can spell "TUESDAY," he spells his own name "WOL." The reason behind Owl spelling his name as “WOL” is that Wol happens to be a Sussex & Kentish word for Owl. It also means that Milne’s characters were quite British. He can even spell "HIPY PAPY BTHUTHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY." ("A Very Happy Birthday with love from Pooh.") In some cases his spelling comes under the scanner when delicate words like buttered toast & measles are put forth. Additionally Owl is capable of reading too, but that only when no one else is looking over his shoulder. In some sense Owl is special, he is not only is aware about vast matters but has the ability of explaining things as well.
The most admirable thing about Owl is that he is very happy to offer his advice, anecdotes and opinions irrespective of someone wanting it or not. Another thing that Owl is quite fond of is telling stories related to his relatives, he tells everyone about his aunt who once laid a seagull’s egg mistakenly whereas his uncle previously survived a very blusterous day.
Owl resides in a tree called The Chestnuts, situated right in the center of the 100 Acre Wood. This reside of his is described as being an “old world residence with great charm” and has amenities like pull-bell and door-knocker on the door. Unfortunately that house was blown away in a storm mention in the book The House at Pooh Corner. Thereafter Eeyore set about locating a new residence for Owl and manages to find what he thinks is the ‘perfect’ residence for Owl. Eeyore had no idea that the house belonged to Piglet. Nevertheless Piglet invites Owl to take his residence. It is presumed that Owl did take up his new residence when he created a sign naming the place “The Wolery”.
The original casts of Winnie the Pooh are all stuffed animals but Rabbit and Owl are the closest to being real animals. This can easily be understood when Rabbit makes a comment to Owl wherein he says “You and I have brains. The others have fluff.” He is sometimes (not all the time) wearing reading glasses in the illustrations made by E.H. Shepherd. The illustrations wherein he is depicted as writing show him holding the pen in his talons and not being held in his wing.
