Jackson was going to murder Andie, no matter what Ozzie said or did. Maybe stab her. Or drown her. Or run her over with a boat, that would have been ironic. Which was a lie, he would never be violent over something like this, but still. He wasn't very happy.
He got that she didn't want people, mainly authority, finding out that she had a stash of rum. He knew that from that one party they had after they won a soccer game, when she had a glass and was sitting very nearly on some guy's lap and just talking about random things, while Jackson, sober, couldn't tune out her obnoxiously loud voice, bragging about rum and probably quoting Pirates of the Carribean somewhere. It wasn't like he was paying attention, but he remembered hearing some things about 'rum stash' and 'apple juice', but that was only when Grace mentioned something about that and feeling funny in the chat that he was in for all of three seconds before he found out that Grace was.... he didn't want to say drunk. Tipsy. Buzzed. Whatever. He wasn't going to flip if the apocalypse was approaching and she had wanted to drink, but it wasn't her fault, so he had to go over there and make sure she didn't get hurt.
Which seemed so different, now.
Before, when he went over there, he didn't allow himself to think of Grace Holladay as anything more than a friend. He didn't alow his wall to crumble even a little bit, except maybe when he had fallen asleep and had that dream-turned-nightmare. But he had repaired everything okay.
It wasn't until that moment when he allowed his wall to completely crumble without trying to stop it. That moment when Grace got angry over what November said and sort-of lied about it, he knew that all his fears were unnecessary. Jealousy wasn't the best indicator, so he had hinted a little bit. And she hinted, too. It took a little while, but eventually he worked up the nerve to ask her, even if it was a bit obscure. She understood, though. She understood everything.
And everything fell into place, and finally, Jackson didn't need to hide his feelings around her. His Hollie. His Hollie. Though of course, it wasn't really in the possessive sense. If anything, he was hers. He had been hers for a while, all it took was some nerve and a bit of reassurance that she wouldn't say no.
So maybe he wasn't going to kill Andie, because if it wasn't for her and November, pretty much, he would have never known.
She could have laid off the tacos, though.
Anyways, as he made his way towards Grace's room, he felt a few butterflies. Before, he had ignored them, he guessed. But he was also nervous now because he had no idea how out of it Hollie was going to be.
He knocked on the door this time, just in case something wasn't right. He listened, and heard no clicking. So Andie wasn't there. It made sense, because Andie would never have intentionally let Grace drink and he knew that.
When he figured it was okay, he walked in. "Hollie?" he called, though his tone was softer now than it was when they were just friends. Though were they ever just friends, really? This just made it seem official, so why did he feel so different?

It might as well have been the best day of Grace Holladay's existence! Nothing could reach her up on her cloud, nothing could pull her down because she was with Jackson.
It wasn't that whole "oh yeah, we're just best friends and that's it, even though it's gotten increasingly difficult to just hang out" thing anymore. Grace could be honest with her feelings and so could Jackson and it was just great! Grace had spent all morning tidying up the dorm and baking various goodies while listening to a mix of One Direction and Taylor Swift, the best kind of music for when you're in love. It was what Grace could do best: clean, sing and bake, so that was what she did. Mr. Mittens ran around the room trying to stay out of Grace's happy tornado, but was occasionally snatched up by Grace and given a multitude of kisses and scratches. A cat couldn't complain.
Soon, though, that night...Grace got thirsty. And that seems perfectly innocent, right? It was innocent, this is Grace, after all. All she wanted was some juice, and oh look! A nice jug of apple juice in the back of the fridge. Grace hadn't had apple juice in a while! She knew it was Andie's, and the best thing to do was to ask, but Grace knew Andie wouldn't mind if she had just a small little glass of it, right? So Grace poured herself a little glass and got to drinkin!
Naivety, ignorance...that kills. Or, in this case, gets you drunk. Tipsy. Whatever you want to call it. Grace, sweet innocent Grace, didn't realize until it was way too late that the apple juice was not actually apple juice. Oh, she had no idea what it could be, just that it was not juice and why was the room a little fuzzy? Grace giggled, then hiccuped, and giggled more because of her hiccup. Everything was suddenly so much funnier! Grace got on her computer and logged into that chat place, a difficult task all of a sudden. Ah! Jackson was on! Her Jackson. Her Jackson. That sent a wave of heat and butterflies through Grace's stomach. They were each other's, really, and Grace couldn't see anything ever changing that.
Looking around the dorm, Grace suddenly became extremely lonely. There was no one there except her and a cat! Way not cool, man. Andie was...well, probably with Ozzie. She was with Ozzie a lot. Well dang it, Grace wanted to be with Jackson a lot! And she was sooo lonely, anyways. And her head kind of hurt, but the ice pack she had placed there wasn't doing anything but make her cold. And look silly. Grace giggled. Taking the ice pack off, Grace looked back at her computer. It was kinda hard to form like...words, but she ended up getting her message out. She wanted Jackson to come over because...reasons. Yeah, reasons. And YAY, he was coming over! And heyy, he was at the door! Grace nearly skipped (though skipping would've resulted in Grace falling on her face, no doubt) to the door, letting Jackson in.
"Jack!" Grace said, hugging him supa hard, nearly jumping on the poor guy. It was so nice to see him, ah! Oh wait, that was in her head! Grace giggled. "I'm so glad you came!" Grace giggled again. Under the influence of the mysterious apple juice, you could definitely tell Grace was originally from Scotland. There was no denying that accent.
