personality Amy is a quiet girl, who has impeccable manners, and doesn't go out of her way to insult someone unless she really doesn't like them. She speaks her mind about issues she feels passionate about, and is a daydreamer. Although that could be attributed to her rampant drug use.
She feels often as though everyone around her is talking nonsense, and she is the only one who makes sense. When thoughts like this plague her for too long, however, she wonders whether or not she has lost her marbles, and it doesn't help that she hears voices sometimes.
She doesn't do well with criticism, and she has a bit of a temper, which will make her forget all about her precious manners. She will probably tell you exactly what she thinks of you, and it's not likely to be very nice. She tries to tell herself that romance is nothing but nonsense, but she can't help but feel the pulls of love coming from everywhere. She just wants to be accepted for who she is by somebody. Romance isn't the first thing on her mind, but it is far from the last.
past Born to Scott and Jessica Winston, Amy spent her whole life in the 'fabulous' Florida Keys. Not so fabulous. It was an incredibly boring place, with literally nothing to do. She spent most of her childhood making friends with the older kids, and when she went to high school, she got into drugs. Though, that was pretty much what everyone did there. She would curb the 45 minute bus ride to school with a haze, and skip class to go get high out on the field.
She soon got bored with the lethargic high that came with smoking weed, and got into harder drugs. Mainly hallucinogens, she didn't have time for cocaine or heroin. This mindset wasn't particularly shared with her boyfriend, Jon. Although they were going out off and on throughout high school, they were constantly arguing about different drugs, and the ethics of taking one over another. In her senior year, they got into a particularly fiesty argument where Jon told her that she only did the drugs she did because her reality sucked so bad that she needed to create her own wonderland.
After that, she refused to speak to him for a few days. But, hating to fight, and wanting to reconcile, she went to his house with his favorite snack and a pack of cigarettes. She walked in on him having sex with one of her best friends, and neither one of them noticed her. She left his room, and found all the drugs he had in his house, taking all the ones she wanted, and flushing the rest. She found his phone on the kitchen counter, and texted all his connections, insulting them all and ensuring they'd never sell to him, and she left. The next day, she applied to J Barrie University, and to her relief and shock, she was accepted as a drama student. She never spoke to Jon again after that.
present The end of her senior year was torrential, as most of the friends that her and Jon shared decided to side with him, so she lost them all. As she retreated further into her mind, the voice in her head became more prominent, always sounding like a dreamy little British girl.
In the summer, with all ties to everyone cut, she packed her bags and moved to New York, with the money she had earned from working at a local restaurant, waiting tables. She worked hard for a partial scholarship, and spent most of the money on food and drugs. She got a job at the movie theatre, and didn't make a whole lot of friends. She spends her nights that she doesn't work reading sleeping, and creating a world where she is not only liked, but needed.
That was all going well and good until Jon Rossum waltzed back into her life. All apologies, the charming devil wormed his way back into Amy's heart, since she is incredibly too forgiving. The resumed dating, and Amy was happy. Well, she often told herself she was anyway. There was a bit of trust issues, that got worse once Maggie Sinclair came to town, the very same best friend who once stole Jon away from Amy.
But, no indiscretions happened that Amy was aware of, and for a time Jon and Amy had gone back to being just that. Jon and Amy. Sure, Jon was a scum-sucking low life, and Amy was growing ever fonder of the oh so interestingly enigmatic Charlemagne Fletcher, but what the other didn't know wouldn't hurt them. They were a happy couple, damnit.
Not helping the situation was Amy's very good friend Jamie Kennedy, who was not Jon's biggest fan, and was captain of the good ship USS Charmelia. She ignored his advice. She does that.
Recently, Jon got a call from a good friend of his in Los Angeles, who wanted him to work out there for some new weed dispensary. Jon promptly proposed to Amy, who accepted and they moved out there to start their new life together.
However, you can't turn a dog into a husband, and Amy caught him in the act of cheating on her AGAIN. In a threeway. In her bed.
Furious, she grabbed all the things dearest to her, hopped in HIS nice ass car, and returned to New York, broken-hearted. At least she had the sense to keep the CONTINENT of a rock Jon gave her.

backstory Alice is the main character of the story "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and the sequel "Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there". She is a seven-year-old English girl with lots of imagination and is fond of showing off her knowledge. Alice is polite, well raised and interested in others, although she sometimes makes the wrong remarks and upsets the creatures in Wonderland. She is easily put off by abruptness and rudeness of others. ((It's copy-pasta, but I'm tired and lazy.))
