Guys, feel free to add to this when you find books that you like and would reccomend! feel free to list a single book, or the whole series of one. You can write a bit more about your favorites or the books you like to reccomend them to someone. --- Those marked with ** are my favorites. The Nightshade Series-Nightshade (Book 1) -Wolfsbane (Book 2) -Bloodrose (Book 3) Uglies[/u] -Pretties -Specials -Extras Hush, Hush[/u] -Crescendo -Silence -Finale (fall 2012) The House of Night Series**[/u] -Marked -Betrayed -Chosen -Untamed -Hunted -Tempted -Burned -Awakened -Destined -Hidden Swoon-Swear The Hunger Games[/u] -Catching Fire -Mockingjay Inkheart Trilogy[/u] -Inkheart -Inkspell -Inkdeath Steig Larsson Trilogy-The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo -The Girl Who Played With Fire -The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest Artemis Fowl Series-Artemis Fowl -The Arctic Incident -The Eternity Code -The Opal Deception -The Lost Colony -The Time Paradox -The Atlantis Complex -The Last Guardian The Darkest Powers Trilogy[/u] If you're lucky, you can actually fine the one massive book with all three books in it. That's what I have.-The Summoning -The Awakening -The Reckoning The Zoe Martinique Investigation Series**[/u] -Wraith -Sprectre -Phantasm -Revenant -Geist The Parasol Protectorate Series**[/u] -Soulless -Changeless -Blameless -Heartless -Timeless The Anita Blake Series**[/u] After Incubus Dreams, the book series turns to total shit. I hear the newer ones aren't quite as terrible, but I won't list after Incubus Dreams.-Guilty Pleasures -The Laughing Corpse -Circus of the Damned -The Lunatic Cafe -Bloody Bones -The Killing Dance -Burnt Offerings -Blue Moon -Obsidian Butterfly (by far my FAVORITE book in the series) -Narcissus in Chains -Cerulean Sins -Incubus Dreams ---- House of Night is one of my favorites. The books are relitively cheap, but try to find them in paper-back, it's cheaper. Some books don't have a paper-back option. If you get the hardcover--open up the coversheet. There's art inside! The series is based around Zooey Redbird, a Marked Vampyre. It has a lot of Wiccan themes, and I find that it is very well written in those aspects. It does have a few romance themes that make you want to punch yourself in the face, but it's rather good. Don't worry, they leave you on cliffhangers but P.C. and Kristen write the books rather quickly. Zoe Martinique Investigation Series is absolutely AMAZING. It's hilarious, because Zoe has a special gift of astral projection. She often does this, spies on people--works as a private investigator of sorts. The does all investigations in her black bunny slippers, there's a lot of comedy and pop-culture references. However, at one point Zoe goes on a job and her entire world turns upside down. It's hilarious, but serious too. Very fun read. The Parasol Protecterate Series is a bit of a difficult read if you're not into Steampunk. However, it's very good. Our main character is a badass mortal woman who is married to a Werewolf. her best friend is a vampire, and she often gets herself into a bit of trouble. But she's not a woman to mess with, she wears the pants so to speak, and tends to send darts from her parasol--knock you out, and still have time for tea. Very funny read, can be a bit difficult, but it's magnificent. The Anita Blake series is probably my number-one favorite. It centers around Anita Blake, an animator(she raises the dead) and Vampire Executioner. She's a hard ass, takes-no-bullshit woman, and is the vampire's equivilent of the "Boogie Man". She often works along side the police in effort to solve preternatural murders. This book has Weres(Tigers, Wolves, Leopards, Jaguars, and a lot more), Vampires, Witches, Ghosts, Nagas, and all kinds of the supernatural goodness. It's a wonderful read, and Anita is a total badass who's a great inspiration for women. However, shortly after Obsidian Butterfly, Anita gets rather fucking irritating, and I never managed to read beyond that.[/center]

also i'll probably add more to this later because i've probably forgotten a ton.
