distinctive traits Sometimes she has a slight limp in her left leg, most likely when she's overcome by negative feeelings like anger and sadness. She doesn't know what it's from, just that it's annoying.
...personal*
personality Bree isn't the type to get help from anyone. She's been betrayed so often that it's hard for her to trust anybody. That's why she never stays with a guy for very long and never sees the same guy two nights in a row. Granted, she really wants to like humanity, but every time she makes a friend or really just puts her trust into a person, it always comes back to bite her in the end. And honestly, she'd much rather do the biting. Which is why she tends to be the flirter instead of the flirtee or the seducter instead of the seductee.
In fact, Bree's lost her taste for humanity so much that she just wants to see it crumble. Of course, she can't cause the fall of the whole system; just the little bits that she can tamper with. Like marriages, for example. Even though she's only 17, she's probably ruined about 4 lives of married businessmen while playing the innocnet victim the whole time. And it's not like they could bring her to court, seeing as it was their choice to get it on with a minor. Though it's likely she'll disguise herself and sit in the court room to watch the divorce trial. Because she never turns away from the destruction she causes; she always looks it right in the eye when it's happening.
Though she never feels guilty, she doesn't think that what she's doing is wrong, per say. She thinks they all deserve it, somehow (not unlike Sweeney Todd, mind you). It's like her civic duty, or whatever people say. She's rather arrogant about it. Not many people would understand her methods and reasoning, but people don't really matter to her apart from for sex and money. Which is a bit of a generalized lie. In all reality, she really really does have a small inkling of hope for society. It's just that that small inkling doesn't make it's way to her conscience decisions that often. She does tend to have a soft spot for girls that are in the same situation she was in, and likes to take them under her wing. Her own little monsters. You've never seen one like that before.
Now, Bree would never dream of killing anyoneyet, but she will get violent if she must. A slap or two should do the trick. And if not, she always has her nails trimmed and sharp. She probably won't react to a man hitting her, seeing as lol she's used to that, and it doesn't make you any more intimidating. Bree can wrestle like a boss, and often come out on top. She's kind of a survivor. And she's watching you all with the eyeeeee of the tiger.
past Bree Bengal never had a happy life, so you can take that idea, crumple it up, and toss it out the window. Go on. Maybe you'll get fined for littering. That would be a miniscule problem compared to Bree's 18 years of existance. Yes, even before she was born. Her father had a one night stand with her promiscuous mother, then left her with a wrong number and a growing problem. When that problem started crying and demanding food and things like that, her mother liked the issue even less, though she took care of her for about a year, if 'taking care of' could be the right term. She often stuffed the baby in the room farthest away from hers when she had different men over so they couldn't hear the crying baby. She had very little human contact and still couldn't walk or talk by the time she was eighteen months old. So her mother promptly labeled her a failure and raised her as such for another five years.
Then she decided she had enough, and did not come to pick Bree up from school one day. She was stuck there, and when a teacher finally drove her to her house, her mother was gone. Disappeared. When they couldn't find her or her father, they dumped her in a foster home until they could find the next of kin. Which took a while. And during that 'while', six-and-a-half-year-old Bree was touched by an older boy in the home, who also introduced her to thinks like alcohol and drugs. None of it was ever reported, but Bree never forgot it. In fact, it was one of the contributing factors to her current drive.
Now seven-year-old Bree was placed with her mother's estranged sister and her husband in New York City. At first, they seemed like the perfect family. But as it turns out, her aunt Gwen and her mother were estranged because Stacy had slept with Gwen's husband, Remmy. Now, Bree already had a few issues with adults and really men in general, so years later when she found this out, she lashed out at her adoptive parents. To which the overly-made-up-at-all-times Gwen was horrified but silent as Remmy punished Bree in the worst way. Bree was 14, already post-pubescent.
That was her first real taste of blood, and she wasn't planning on going back. That was the final straw, the snapping point. Humanity had been cruel to her? Well, she could be- would be- cruel right back.
At 15 years old, she was already going out and owned a fake ID. She hooked up with random and probably older men, which was bad, but her first real act of cruelty was when she broke apart a 10-year marriage and caused the husband to give up their child for adoption because the wife didn't want anything to do with the husband or his spawn and the husband couldn't take care of the kid on his own. Curious as Bree was, and maybe even a little guilty about that part, she tried to track down the kid, but nothing turned up.
present Not keeping up with school, Bree got held back two grades in middle school before her adoptive parents put their feet down and sent her off to the local boarding school, hoping that would spark a reform of the chaos they partially caused. Needless to say, it hasn't worked. If anything, exposing her to this different environment and keeping her away from her home has made her worse. Less supervision means more time to do bad things. She really regrets nothing except for ruining that boy's life, and occasionally she even tries to look him up. Though every time she gets close, it seems he slips away.
Of course, high school isn't totally stress-free. In order to keep this unsupervised arrangment, she has to keep her grades up. Balancing that with her quest for chaos is not easy to do. Thus, her odd limp is much more frequent. Sometimes she can barely walk; other times she can just walk it off. Depends on the level of stress and sobriety at the time. She dyes her hair occasionally, but never really makes that many drastic changes to her body. Though she has been considering getting a tiger tattoo up her side or back. It's just an odd thing.

...literature*
book title The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling.
backstory So, Shere Khan (which is actually pronounced like 'Skere Khan' believe it or not) didn't exactly start off with a happy life of stripey jungle wonder. His own MOTHER nicknames him 'Lungri' meaning The Lame One, though he seems pretty flippant about that and still manages to act like he's king of the jungle, despite having a lame leg, though the only one who looks up to him is a jackal. Those bitches just don't understand. Then, when he tries to hunt a human family, a man cub strays away. Which seems like easy prey, right? Except LOLNO, he gets adopted by wolves before Shere Khan manages to get there. How rude. He manages to get in there nd try to break apart the pack and ask for the boy back, but NOOOOO, the boy chases him out with a burning branch, which is unfair because obviously tigers can't use fire, and he's really just taking advantage of his man powers, which is not cool. Then, in a later story, Mowgli gets adopted by some people in a village who ALSO are haters of this lame tiger. THEN, Mowgli finds out where Shere Khan, who still wants him, is hiding (from that jackal, mind you), and he and the wolves trap him in a canyon and he gets STAMPEDED to death. Then, to make matters worse, Mowgli SKINS the poor tiger and DANCES on it. Seriously. All Shere Khan wanted was a chance, guys.
