Nayeli is first and foremost a hopeless romantic. She’s dreamed of the perfect boy for as long as she can remember. Even when she was little, she would draw pictures of herself in a castle with a prince. She can’t wait until she meets the perfect person, so she can have her happily ever after.
She is a little timid, she really cannot make up her mind about what she wants to do. Especially when it comes to boys. But lately, she’s been having conflict about where she wants to go in her life. College doesn’t look very appealing, even though her parents would be overjoyed to enroll her into any school.
She is very headstrong and rebellious. She doesn't really want to do what her parents tell her, and often follows her heart, not the rules. She can’t sit still. Nayeli would really like to travel the world, do all the things she’s heard of, like touring Italy, hang-gliding over a rainforest, deep-sea diving, you name it. She likes anything extreme and exciting.

Kevin Roy met his wife, Erin Sanders, when they were high school juniors and began dating that year. They continued to date through college and were married at age 26. Their first child, Karson, was born on November 23rd, 1990.
June 7th, 1992, they gave birth to a little girl with a tuft of golden hair and big blue eyes. They named her Nayeli, a name that Erin had found, meaning ‘I love you’ in the Zapotec language.
As Nayeli grew, this seemed to fit her personality perfectly. She was pretty and a sociable person. She was easily liked, and charming, even at a young age. She chased little boys around the playground at age 5. She got in trouble in kindergarten, for kissing a little boy named Jimmy Finn on the cheek during play time. A note was sent home when she was in 3rd grade, asking her parents to explain to her about proper behavior and how love notes were not meant for the classroom. He father used to read her stories about princesses who had princes that came to save them. She began to dream of a boy who would come and sweep her off her feet. In her freshman year, the English class read Romeo and Juliet. Nayeli felt that she sympathized with Juliet. Her family didn’t really understand her, and all she wanted was love. She appreciated Juliet’s romantic nature.

Nayeli is quite a bit more mellow than she was when she was younger. She is still a romantic, but is a bit more serious than she was before. She’s still a flirt, and she still wants to have an exciting life.
She joined a dance studio when she was 15 and is now being trained in pointe, as well as jazz, high kick, hip hop, and Latin dances, such as salsa and tango. She is a high school senior and is planning on making dance her profession. She has had a few dance partners who were fairly, but she’s really hoping that her Romeo is a dancer as well.

backstory Juliet is the daughter of a generous and very wealthy family in Verona, headed by Lord and Lady Capulet. She is the sole heir to the Capulets. As a child, she was cared for by her nurse, who is now her confidante, or Juliet's caretaker. The play takes place over a time span of four days. Within these few days, Juliet is thrust into adulthood quickly—where she must deal with issues of life, love, passion, and even death. During the play she is courted by a potential husband (Count Paris), falls in love with another (Romeo), marries Romeo secretly, experiences the death of her cousin Tybalt, has one brief passionate night with her new husband before he is forced to leave the city, is threatened by her father and nearly disowned by both of her parents for refusing to marry the man they have chosen for her, is emotionally betrayed by the nurse who raised her from infancy, spends nearly two days drugged to unconsciousness, is widowed, and ultimately commits suicide near the body of her dead husband.
