So, in case any of you haven't noticed, I...haven't been around much lately. Mostly, this phenomenon comes down to the fact that I, Scoutaus Finch, have decided (not entirely of my own will) that, starting this year, I will no longer be a lazy fuck. That and I was recently hit over the side of the head by a nice, large block of wood named "GUESS WHAT, SUCKER. YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO PAY FOR A LOT OF YOUR OWN COLLEGE. ALSO, BEFORE YOU DO THAT, YOU HAVE TO GET IN TO COLLEGE."
What does this mean, you might ask? So far, that just means that in addition to a rather atrocious amount of homework, I'm trying to focus on college and scholarship applications while working two to three and a half hours every day after school. Unfortunately, that means I can't focus on the things I WANT to focus on, like you lovely people.
Basically, what this all boils down to is the fact that I feel absolutely horrible for putting this up so late, but as Piper and Molly and Zelda can probably all vouch for me, I have next to no free time on my hands. This isn't good-bye, though. I could never do that. This is just an "I'm sorry I haven't been around for all of September but honestly, there's no way I can get my posts finished by the end of the month and I probably won't get all/any of mine finished for October either" post that got waaay long and out of hand.
So anyway. I will do my best on weekends, but as those are designated scholarship/college app/homework catch up days, I can't make any promises until November, when STRESSSEASONTOTHEMAX hopefully dies down.
